EN UN SISTEMA DE TRANSMISION DE MENSAJES CON ESTACIONES DE RADIO Y DISPOSITIVOS ALEJADOS DE ESTA, POR EJEMPLO EN UN SISTEMA RADIOMOVIL CELULAR ENVIAN LAS ESTACIONES DE RADIO SEÑALES DE RADIO Y RECIBEN SEÑALES DE RADIO, QUE CONTIENEN DICHAS SEÑALES DE MENSAJES. SEGUN LA INVENCION SE TRANSFIEREN POSIBLEMENTE MUCHAS PARA LAS FUNCIONES DE ELABORACION DE LAS ESTACIONES FIJAS EN LOS DISPOSITIVOS ALEJADOS. LAS SEÑALES DE RADIO QUE SE ENVIAN DESDE LA ESTACION DE RADIO (2) SE ELABORAN DE MANERA QUE EN EL DISPOSITIVO DE TRANSMISION ALEJADO SE CREA UN SOPORTE SIN MODULAR Y UN SOPORTE MODULADO CON LA SEÑAL DE MENSAJES, CON LO QUE SE DIFERENCIAN LOS SOPORTES EN SU FRECUENCIA POR EL IMPORTE DE LA FRECUENCIA DE SOPORTE DE LA SEÑAL DE RADIO (F1). AMBOS SOPORTES OPTICOS SE TRANSMITEN A LA ESTACION DE RADIO (2) ALLI SE MEZCLAN EN UN RECEPTOR OPTICO, DE TAL MANERA QUE LA SEÑAL DE RADIO CONTIENE LA SEÑAL DE MENSAJES. UNA SEÑAL DE RADIO QUE SE RECIBE EN UNA ESTACION DE RADIO (40) SE TRANSMITE OPTICAMENTE A UN DISPOSITIVO ALEJADO (44) Y SOLO AHI VUELVE A ELABORARSE. ESTA TRANSMISION SE SUCEDE DE TAL MANERA QUE UN EMISOR OPTICO QUE ESTA PRESENTE EN UN DISPOSITIVO DE TRANSMISION ALEJADO (44) ELABORA UN SOPORTE OPTICO NO MODULADO Y TRANSMITE A UN MODULADOR OPTICO (43) QUE SE ENCUENTRA EN LA ESTACION DE RADIO (40).
