Abstract
Ladrillo hueco refractario de forma cilíndrica con superficies de pared estrechadas en la zona de las esquinas, en el que la superficie del contorno consiste en ocho superficies parciales dispuestas en ángulo entre sí y que presenta un canal de paso situado coaxialmente con el eje longitudinal central, estando dicho canal limitado en su contorno por ochos superficies parciales dispuestas en ángulo entre sí, en el que cada dos superficies parciales diametralmente opuestas están situadas de manera paralela entre sí, presentando las zonas de pared, en las esquinas del ladrillo hueco, un espesor de pared que es de un 15% al 35% menor que las restantes zonas de pared que se encuentran entre ellas y estando realizado el ladrillo hueco de tal modo que, cuando se gira 90º alrededor del eje longitudinal central (M), se vuelve a alcanzar la geometría original. Es de aplicación en los hornos de fusión de vidrio.
