CATALIZADOR QUE INCLUYE UN SOPORTE DE OXIDO REFRACTARIO Y COMO METALES CATALITICAMENTE ACTIVOS ENTRE UN 2 Y UN 15 % EN PESO DE AL MENOS UN METAL DEL GRUPO VIII Y ENTRE UN 5 Y UN 40 % EN PESO DE CROMO, EN DONDE DICHOS PORCENTAJES EN PESO REPRESENTAN LA CANTIDAD DE METAL EN BASE AL PESO TOTAL DEL SOPORTE, EN DONDE EL CROMO SE ENCUENTRA PRESENTE COMO OXIDO Y/O COMO SULFURO. EL CATALIZADOR ES PARTICULARMENTE ADECUADO PARA SU USO EN UN PROCESO EN EL QUE SE PONE EN CONTACTO UN MATERIAL DE HIDROCARBURO QUE CONTIENE COMPUESTOS AROMATICOS CON EL CATALIZADOR A UNA TEMPERATURA Y PRESION ELEVADAS EN PRESENCIA DE HIDROGENO.
