Abstract
LAS ZEOLITAS DE AMONIO CON UN CONTENIDO DE METAL ALCALI EXTREMADAMENTE BAJO SE PREPARAN MEDIANTE UN PROCESO DE INTERCAMBIO DE IONES DE POTASIO SEGUIDO POR UN INTERCAMBIO DE IONES DE AMONIO. SE PONEN EN CONTACTO ZEOLITA X O ZEOLITA Y QUE CONTENGAN UNA CANTIDAD SIGNIFICATIVA DE SODIO CON UNA SOLUCION DE SAL DE POTASIO BAJO CONDICIONES QUE SUMINISTREN UN INTERCAMBIO SUBSTANCIAL DE POTASIO POR SODIO. LA ZEOLITA ENRIQUECIDA CON POTASIO SE PONE EN CONTACTO ENTONCES CON UNA SOLUCION DE SAL DE AMONIO DE MANERA QUE EL ION DE AMONIO REEMPLACE LOS IONES DE SODIO Y DE POTASIO. LA ZEOLITA X O Y DE AMONIO RESULTANTE CONSIDERABLEMENTE MENOS DE UN 1% DE METAL ALCALI CALCULADO COMO NA2O.
