SE PREPARAN ORTO ESTERES CICLICOS ETILENICAMENTE INSATURADOS MEDIANTE LA REACCION DE UN ORTO ESTER CICLICO HIDROXI-SUBSTITUIDO TALES COMO 4-HIDROXIMETIL-2-METOXY-METIL-1, 3-DIOXOLANO CON CLORURO ACRILOIL, CLORURO METACRIOLIL, CLORURO VINILBENZIL O SEMEJANTES. FORMAN POLIMEROS, ESPECIALMENTE COPOLIMEROS DE INJERTO EPDM, QUE SON UTILES EN LA FORMACION DE COMPOSICIONES QUE CONTIENEN COPOLIMEROS CON POLIESTERES, POLIAMIDAS Y SEMEJANTES. LAS COMPOSICIONES QUE CONTIENEN COPOLIMEROS TIENEN EXCELENTES PROPIEDADES FISICAS Y SE PUEDEN EMPLEAR PARA COMPATIBILIZAR MEZCLAS DE LOS MISMOS POLIMEROS.
