Abstract

El invento se refiere a un plastisol a base de un copolímero compuesto por: (A) (1) 39 a 99% en peso de metacrilato de metilo y (2) 60 a 0% en peso deésteres del ácido metacrílico con alcoholes saturados y alifáticos con una cadena de 2 a 6átomos de carbono, (3) 0,1 a 1% en peso de un agentereticulante o de una mezcla de agentes reticulantes y (B) (4) 50 a 200% en peso, referido a la cantidad total/suma de (1) - (3), de plastificantes. Loscopolímeros de metacrilato de metilo y metacrilato de butilo se emplean en calidad de plastisoles en la industria automotriz y en calidad derevestimientos para pisos. El invento describe una forma de aumentar la estabilidad al almacenamiento de los plastisoles mediante el empleo depequenas cantidades de agentes reticulantes. Los plastisoles parcialmente reticulados mantienen sus propiedades mecánicas.
