LASERES GIRATORIOS PARA ESTABLECER, UN PLANO DE REFERENCIA VERTICAL AL LADO DEL TRONCO Y OTRO HORIZONTAL POR ENCIMA DE EL. ESTA DOTADO TAMBIEN DE UN DETECTOR DE LASER PARA DETERMINAR LA DISTANCIA DEL TRONCO AL PLANO DE REFERENCIA Y, CON ELLO, SU CURVATURA. CADA DISPOSITIVO MEDIDOR PROPORCIONA TINA VISUALIZACION DE SUS MEDICIONES Y UNOS CODIFICADORES PROPORCIONAN UNA SEÑAL ELECTRONICA REPRESENTATIVA DE ESTAS A UN ORDENADOR.
