1519744 Gauging twist drills M KATZ 17 Sept 1976 [22 Oct 1975 2 June 1976] 38646/76 Headings G1M and G1X A device for gauging twist drills comprises a first rule 1 having a scale 2 thereon, and a second rule 3 having a scale 4 thereon whereby the height and width of the cutting edges of a twist drill may be measured, an arm 7 being pivotally attached to one of the rules and carrying an angular scale 6 whereby the point angle, chisel-edge angle and tip relief angle of a twist drill may be measured. The device may carry tables of angles required for various drills and various other cutting tools.
