Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'optimisation de débit de merrains (15) dans un demi-billon (10). IL se caractérise en ce que : - on effectue une numérisation dudit demi-billon, en mesurant à partir de son centre, l'angle et le rayon de N points d'une courbe limite entre l'aubier et le bois sain, ledit nombre N de points étant choisi par l'opérateur en fonction de la complexité de la courbe; - on effectue ensuite une phase d'optimisation, dans laquelle on calcule la dimension des quartiers à fendre ou à scier, de manière à maximiser la somme des largeurs des douelles contenues dans chaque quartier, pour l'ensemble du demi-billon ; - on indique à un opérateur ou à un moyen de production la dimension des quartiers à fendre ou à scier. L'invention concerne encore un dispositif (1) de mise en oeuvre de ce procédé.
