CERMET DE NIQUEL QUE CONTIENE 35-70% EN PESO DE UNA FASE DEL NIQUEL METALICA Y 65-30% EN PESO DE UNA FASE DE CIRCONIO ESTABILIZADO EN LA FORMA CUBICA CON ITRIA, APARECIENDO, SOBRE ANALISIS DE DIFRACCION DE RAYOS X, DICHAS FASES COMO DISTINTAS Y HOMOGENEAMENTE DISTRIBUIDAS A UN NIVEL MENOR DE 1 MICRA. ESTE CERMET DE NIQUEL SE OBTIENE PREPARANDO UNA SOLUCION ACUOSA QUE CONTIENE CIRCONIL DESCOMPONIBLE AL CALOR, ITRIO Y SAL DE NIQUEL, Y UN HIDROXIACIDO ORGANICO O AMINOACIDO, O UN (ACIDO) POLI (ACRILICO); RETIRANDO EL AGUA DE LA SOLUCION RESULTANTE, BAJO CONDICIONES DE AUSENCIA, O AUSENCIA SUBSTANCIAL, DE FENOMENOS DE DESCOMPOSICION, PARA PREPARAR UN SOLIDO POROSO; CALCINAR EL SOLIDO POROSO, Y REDUCIR CON HIDROGENO EL PRODUCTO DE LA CALCINACION. EL CERMET DE NIQUEL OBTENIDO DE TAL MANERA ES UTIL COMO MATERIAL ANODICO PARA CELULAS DE COMBUSTIBLE DE OXIDO SOLIDO (SOFC).
