LA INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN PROCESO Y A UN DISPOSITIVO PARA DETECTAR IRREGULARIDADES DE DETECCION EN UN MOTOR DE COMBUSTION INTERNA. EL PROCESO CONSISTE EN MEDIR LOS INTERVALOS DE TIEMPO ENTRE LAS POSICIONES ANGULARES DEL CIGUEÑAL, EN AGRUPAR ESTAS DIFERENCIAS DE TIEMPO EN JUEGOS DE MUESTRAS QUE CORRESPONDEN A CADA FASE DE COMBUSTION, EN CALCULAR DE CADA JUEGO UN PARAMETRO CRITICO QUE ES REPRESENTATIVO DE LA VARIACION EN LA VELOCIDAD INSTANTANEA EN EL MOMENTO DE LA COMBUSTION, Y EN COMPARAR ESTE PARAMETRO CON UN UMBRAL DE FALLO CON EL FIN DE HACER UNA DIAGNOSIS DE COMBUSTION.
