UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA OBTENCION DE PIEDRAS REFRACTARIAS, QUE COMO COMPONENTES ESENCIALES POSEEN UN ALTO PORCENTAJE DE OXIDO DE CROMO Y UN BAJO PORCENTAJE DE OXIDO DE TITANIO, PREVE QUE EL OXIDO DE CROMO Y EL OXIDO DE TITANIO SEAN MEZCLADOS, MOLDEADOS Y COCIDOS EN ATMOSFERA REDUCTORA, PARA CONSEGUIR UNA DISOLUCION SOLIDA DEL OXIDO DE TITANIO EN EL OXIDO DE CROMO. SE LLEVA A CABO ENTONCES LA TRITURACION DE LOS CUERPOS INTERMEDIOS COCIDOS. A PARTIR DE LAS FRACCIONES COLADAS DE LOS CUERPOS INTERMEDIOS TRITURADOS, SE MOLDEAN CUERPOS MOLDEADOS Y ESTOS, EN UN SEGUNDO PROCESO DE COCCION, SON COCIDOS EN PIEDRAS REFRACTARIAS. A LAS FRACCIONES COLADAS DE LOS CUERPOS INTERMEDIOS TRITURADOS SE LES AÑADE OXIDO DE CROMO SIN COCER, Y SE MEZCLA CON ELLAS. A PARTIR DE ESTA MEZCLA SE MOLDEAN LOS CUERPOS MOLDEADOS, QUE EN EL SEGUNDO PROCESO DE COCCION, SON COCIDOS POR REDUCCION.
