PARA LA PREPARACION DE UNA PROTEINA EN UNA FORMA FISIOLOGICAMENTE ACTIVA O NATIVA SE PONE EN CONTACTO UNA FUENTE DE PROTEINA EN FORMA SOLUBILIZADA, CON UN MEDIO DE INTERCAMBIO CATIONICO QUE PUEDE SER UNA RESINA CAMBIADORA DE CATIONES QUE GENERE UNA VELOCIDAD RAPIDA DE INTERCAMBIO CATIONICO. LA RESINA CAMBIADORA DE CATIONES SE PUEDE PROPORCIONAR EN FORMA DE COLUMNA DE CROMATOGRAFIA DE INTERCAMBIO DE CATIONES, PONIENDOSE EN CONTACTO LA FUENTE PROTEINICA A TRAVES DE ELUCION DE LA COLUMNA DE CROMATOGRAFIA.
