Abstract

Dispositivo para el almacenamiento óptico de información utilizando polímeros como medio de almacenamiento, conteniendo el dispositivo una película de un polímero como medio de almacenamiento y estando preparado para almacenar la información mediante una variación local de la disposición molecular por medio de la aplicación de luz, caracterizado porque, el polímero es amorfo y macroscópicamente isótropo y porque contiene en un grupo lateral y/o dentro de la espina dorsal de la cadena grupos fotocromos que condicionan la variación local de la disposición molecular aplicando luz polarizada, que es reversible mediante aumento de la temperatura, en particular mediante luz.
