PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA DESTRUCCION DE MICROORGANISMOS Y ENZIMAS MEDIANTE LA APLICACION COMBINADA DE CALOR Y ULTRASONIDOS BAJO PRESION (PROCESO MTS) EN CONDICIONES CONTROLADAS DE PRESION, TIEMPO, TEMPERATURA Y FRECUENCIA Y AMPLITUD DE SONICACION. LA APLICACION DE ULTRASONIDOS BAJO PRESION COMBINADA CON EL TRATAMIENTO TERMICO POTENCIA SINERGICAMENTE EL EFECTO DESTRUCTOR SOBRE MICROORGANISMOS Y ENZIMAS, PERMITIENDO REDUCIR EL TIEMPO Y/O LA TEMPERATURA DE TRATAMIENTO. EL RITMO DE DESTRUCCION DE MICROORGANISMOS Y ENZIMAS SOMETIDOS A MANO-TERMO-SONICACION SIGUE UNA CINETICA DE REACCION DE PRIMER ORDEN, POR LO QUE LOS TRATAMIENTOS DE ESTERILIZACION O HIGIENIZACION A APLICAR PARA LA CONSECUCION DE UN EFECTO DETERMINADO SON CALCULABLES. UNA VEZ ESTABILIZADA LA CAMARA DE MANO-TERMO-SONICACION EN LAS CONDICIONES DE VELOCIDAD DE FLUJO, TEMPERATURA, PRESION E INTENSIDAD DE SONICACION, PREVIAMENTE CALCULADAS, SE IMPULSA A TRAVES DE LA MISMA EL PRODUCTO A TRATAR.
