Abstract

Método para la protección de elementos encerrados sustancialmente de forma inmóvil en un alojamiento (10) contra las influencias de la humedad, por ejemplo elementos (9) destinados a fines eléctricos, tales como los terminales y los medios de unión o acoplamiento de cables (1, 2) y otros componentes eléctricos y electrónicos, estando dicho alojamiento (10) encerrado por un acoplamiento de casquillo (4, 5) para cables, comprendiendo dicho método los siguientes pasos: (1) la provisión de alojamiento o caja (10); (2) la disposición de los elementos (9) dentro de ese alojamiento; (3) el cierre (12) opcional de dicho alojamiento; (4) el dejar libre una abertura de acceso (11) al espacio encerrado por dicho alojamiento; (5) el llenado de dicho alojamiento por medio de dicha abertura de acceso (11) con una masa de relleno líquida que puede ser viscosa; y (6) el cierre (13) de dicha abertura de acceso. Caracterizado por el siguiente paso: (7) la selección, para llevar a cabo el paso (5), de una masa de relleno que se solidifica en contacto con el agua.
