ESTE IMPREGNANTE PARA LA MADERA SIRVE PARA IMPREGNAR Y CONSERVAR LA MADERA QUE RECIBE LA PINTURA, Y ADEMAS, CONSEGUIR UNA CAPA DE BARNIZ SUPERFICIAL SOBRE LA MISMA. CONTIENE AGUA Y, POR LO MENOS, UN PIGMENTO DE BARNIZ; UN AGLUTINANTE POLIMERO FILMOGENO PRINCIPALMENTE EN DISPERSION ACUOSA; POR LO MENOS UN BIOCIDA CONSERVANTE; UN REGULADOR DE LA EVAPORACION UN GLICOL, ASI COMO, EVENTUALMENTE, LOS RESTANTES ADITIVOS COMO HUMECTANTES, DISPERSANTES DE PIGMENTO, MATEANTES Y OTROS PRODUCTOS SEMEJANTES CONVENCIONALES. LOS BIOCIDAS UTILIZADOS DEBEN PROTEGER TANTO LA MADERA COMO LA CAPAZ DE BARNIZ CONTRA LA PUTREFACCION, LAS ALGAS Y LOS MOHOS. PUEDEN ESTAR PRESENTES OTRAS SUSTANCIAS BIOCIDAS.
