Abstract

Un sistema de transmisión estereofónico, en el cual en la extremidad del transmisor son emitidas señales estereofónicas coherentes A y B como modulaciones de la misma frecuencia de onda portadora, mientras que en la extremidad del receptor las señales emitidas como modulaciones de la misma frecuencia de onda portadora A y B son suministradas a dispositivos de reproducción separados, caracterizado porque el transmisor comprende dos canales que tienen moduladores de amplitud conectados a un oscilador común de onda portadora y, en la salida, a un sistema de antena, teniendo las señales emitidas desde los dos canales una diferencia de fase de 90º con respecto a la oscilación de onda portadora, comprendiendo al primer canal un productor de suma que integra las señales estereofónicas A y B y un modulador de amplitud sin supresión de onda portadora controlado por la señal de salida (A + B) del productor de suma, comprendiendo el segundo canal un productor de diferencia que resta las señales estereofónicas (A ¿ B) y un modulador de amplitud con supresión de la onda portadora, controlado por la señal de salida (A ¿ B) del productor de diferencia por medio de una red integradora, estando los elementos del segundo canal proporcionados para una potencia que no es mayor de 10% de la potencia de los correspondientes elementos del primer canal, y a la parte de alta frecuencia del receptor que tiene una anchura de banda de un receptor normal con modulación de amplitud (aproximadamente 9 kc/s) están conectados dos canales que tienen un detector de amplitud y un detector de frecuencia respectivamente, siendo la señal de suma A + B que ocurre a través de la salida del detector de amplitud y la señal de diferencia A ¿ B que ocurre a través de la salida del detector de frecuencia suministradas en común a un productor de diferencia por sustracción, siendo las señales coherentes A y B obtenidas por adición y sustracción suministradas a dispositivos reproductores separados.
