Abstract

An electrical household appliance e.g. a washing machine, comprises a cupboard-shaped outer housing and a preferably at least nearly equally wide front wall flap (1). The flap (1) consists of a thermoplastic plastics material and is integrally connected by way of a film hinge (10) with a fastening strip (4), which is fastened by means of detent elements (5) detentingly engaging in passages (8) of a metal front wall plate (9) of the machine housing.
