Abstract

Procedimiento para la preparación de acetatos de 2,3,4,5-tetrafluorbenzoilo, de fórmula I *** (Fórmula) *** en donde R es un grupo alquilo de cadena recta o ramificada de1 a 4 átomos de carbono, caracterizado porque comprende: (a) añadir un dialquilmalonato a metóxido sódico anhidro, en presencia de tolueno y dimetilformamida, para producir una lechada que contiene el correspondiente dialquilmalonato sódico; (b) añadir cloruro de tetrafluorbenzoilo a la lechada anterior y agitar a 10-50ºC, durante 1-4 horas, para formar el correspondiente producto de acilación; (c) extractar el producto de acilación en agua, separar la capa acuoso y acidificarla a pH 2-3 con un ácido fuerte, para formar el correspondiente dialquilmalonato de benzoilo; (d) hidrolizar el dialquilmalonato de benzoilo con agua y recuperar, por medios conocidos, el compuesto de fórmula I anterior; y (e) aislar ácido tetrafluorbenzoico, el subproducto de la hidrólisis y convertirlo por medios conocidos, a cloruro de tetrafluorbenzoilo para su reciclo a la etapa (b) anterior.
