Abstract

LA REALIZACION DE CONCENTRACION DE IONES DE LITIO CON IONES DE SODIO SE PUEDE DETERMINAR CON GRAN EXACTITUD, SUMERGIENDO EN UNA SOLUCION DE PRUEBA UN ELECTRODO PARA DETERMINAR LOS IONES DE LITIO Y UN ELECTRODO PARA DETERMINAR LOS IONES DE SODIO, UNIENDO AMBOS ELECTRODOS A TRAVES DE UN APARATO MEDIDOR DE TENSION ELECTRICAMENTE, DETERMINANDO LA DIFERENCIA POTENCIAL A^ ENTRE AMBOS ELECTRODOS. DE ESTA DIFERENCIA POTENCIAL PUEDE CALCULARSE LA RELACION DE CONCENTRACION DE IONES DE LITIO CON IONES DE SODIO. TAMBIEN ES POSIBLE UNIR ELECTRICAMENTE EL ELECTRODO DE LITIO Y EL ELECTRODO DE SODIO A TRAVES DE APARATOS MEDIDORES DE TENSION CON UN UNICO ELECTRODO DE REFERENCIA EXTERIOR O UN ELECTRODO "COMMONE" Y OBTENER LA DIFERENCIA POTENCIAL AV DE AMBAS DIFERENCIAS POTENCIALES MEDIDAS. EL PROCEDIMIENTO PERMITE UNA DETERMINACION EXACTA DE LA RELACION DE CONCENTRACION DE IONES DE LITIO CON IONES DE SODIO CON LA PRESENCIA DE ALTAS CONCENTRACIONES VARIABLES DE IONES DE SODIO, POR EJEMPLO EN EL SUERO SANGINEO, DONDE LA CONCENTRACION DE SODIO ES APROX. 100 VECES MAYOR QUE LA DE LITIO. DISPOSITIVOS MINIATURIZADOS PARA LA REALIZACION DEL PROCEDIMIENTO, POR EJEMPLO ELECTRODOS DE PASO, ELECTRODOS DE CABLE O COLOCACIONES SEGUN LA TECNICA PLANAR, PERMITEN UNA RAPIDA DETERMINACION DE LA RELACION DE CONCENTRACION EN EL SECTOR CLINICO.
