PARA ELLO, A UN VEHICULO TERMICO CONVENCIONAL SE LE ACOPLA UN MOTOR ELECTRICO CON LA INTERPOSICION DE UN DESACOPLADOR MECANICO A BASE DE DOS PIÑONES Y UNA CORONA, UNO DE CUYOS PIÑONES VA SOLIDARIO AL EJE DEL MOTOR TERMICO Y EL OTRO PIÑON VA SOLIDARIO AL EJE DEL MOTOR ELECTRICO, DE MANERA QUE LA CORONA PUEDA ENGRANAR SIMULTANEAMENTE ENTRE AMBOS PIÑONES HACIENDO QUE EL VEHICULO FUNCIONE CON EL MOTOR TERMICO, O BIEN ESTAR TAL CORONA DESENGRANADA RESPECTO DEL PIÑON SOLIDARIO AL EJE DEL MOTOR ELECTRICO, EN CUYO CASO EL VEHICULO FUNCIONARA CON DICHO MOTOR ELECTRICO.
