Abstract

1. Method of producing yellowing-resistant paper webs from cellulose with the addition of sizing agents, fillers, retention agents and wet strengthening agents, characterised in that the paper web consists of sulphate cellulose derived from poplar or eucalyptus and pine-wood in a ratio of 15:85 to 85:15, with a grinding degree of 15 to 60 degrees SR ; and in that the paper web is provided with a surface layer consisting of a substantially hygroscopic additive which represents 5 to 100% of the quantity of binder.
