Abstract
A method for preparing a fiber-containing sheet by papermaking techniques starting from an aqueous suspension containing fibers, a flocculant, a binder and an agent reducing fluffing and adhesion to presses in the machine wet part, which is introduced into the headbox for forming a sheet on a paper machine which is pressed and dried, said method being characterised in that it comprises preparing an aqueous suspension having a pH of between 6.2 and 9.5 and comprising (a) 100 parts by dry weight of fibers selected from (i) cellulosic fibers having a SR degree of between 16 and 35, and (ii) mixtures of cellulosic fibers having a SR degree of between 2n 16 and 35 with non-cellulosic fibers wherein the weight ratio of non-cellulosic fibers to cellulosic fibers is lower than or equal to 0.1, (b) 0.05 to 1 part by dry weight of organic cationic flocculant, (c) 0.2 to 5 parts by dry weight of polymeric organic binder, and (d) 0.01 to 1 parts by dry weight of an agent reducing fluffing and adhesion of the sheet to presses in the machine wet part during its formation. - (31pp) EPAB- EP-123567 B A method for preparing a fiber-containing sheet by papermaking techniques starting from an aqueous suspension containing fibers, a flocculant, a binder and an agent reducing fluffing and adhesion to presses in the machine wet part, which is introduced into the head box for forming a sheet on a paper machine which is pressed and dried, said method being characterised in that it comprises preparing an aqueous suspension having a pH of between 6.2 and 9.5 and comprising (a) 100 parts by dry weight of fibers selected from (i) cellulosic fibers having a SR degree of between 16 and 35, and (ii) mixtures of cellulosic fibers having a SR degree of between 2n 16 and 35 with non-cellulosic fibers wherein the weight ratio of non-cellulosic fibers to cellulosic fibers is lower than or equal to 0.1, (b) 0.05 to 1 part by dry weight of organic cationic flocculant, (c) 0.2 to 5 parts by dry weight of polymeric organic binder, and (d) 0.01 to 1 parts by dry weight of an agent reducing fluffing and adhesion of the sheet to presses in the machine wet part during its formation.
