PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA PREPARACION DE MATERIAL DE MOLDEO A BASE DE ALGINATO, QUE COMPRENDE ADICIONAL A UNA MEZCLA DE ALGINATO Y EN CASO DADO DE OTROS COMPONENTES, EN FORMA PULVURULENTA, UNA ISOPARAFINA DE FORMULA GENERAL I DONDE N ES 2, 3, 4 O 5, BAJO AGITACION Y A TEMPERATURA AMBIENTE. LA CITADA ISOPARAFINA SE PREPARA POR OLIGOMERIZACION CATALITICA DE ISOBUTENOS CON HIDROGENACION SUBSIGUIENTE. EL MATERIAL OBTENIDO CONTIENE APROXIMADAMENTE ENTRE 0,5 Y 7% EN PESO DE ISOPARAFINA Y ENTRE 8 Y 25% EN PESO DE ALGINATO. CON LA ADICION DE LA ISOPARAFINA, SE IMPIDE EL LEVANTAMIENTO DE POLVO POR PARTE DE LA MASA DE MOLDEO DE ALGINATO PULVURULENTO Y EL MATERIAL OBTENIDO ES UTIL PARA LA OBTENCION DE IMPRESIONES EN EL CAMPO DENTAL PREFERENTEMENTE.
