Abstract

Freno de disco, del tipo que comprende un soporte fijo en forma de U cabalgando sobre el disco; dos zapatas sostenidas por un pasador axial unido al soporte fijo y situadas en el exterior de la periferia del disco; medios de sujeción asociados con el soporte fijo, para aplicar las zapatas contra las caras respectivas del disco, y medios de tope previstos en el soporte para anclar las zapatas en las dos direcciones de rotación del disco, caracterizado porque los medios de tope comprenden dos superficies radiales de tope, previstas en cada brazo del disco de dicho soporte, situándose las superficies de tope a cada lado de un plano que pasa por el pasador y es perpendicular al plano radial que pasa por el pasador para permitir que cada una de las zapatas se anclen por uno de sus lados radiales en una u otra de las superficies de tope, según sea la dirección de rotación del disco.
