Abstract

Perfeccionamientos en frenos de disco de auto-activación, del tipo que comprenden discos giratorios de fricción que llevan forros de fricción adaptados para ponerse en contacto con superficies radiales opuestas y separadas en un alojamiento por medio de placas de presión situadas entre los discos de fricción y centradas por unos tetones fijios piloto, en donde hay situados unas bolas o rodillo en rebajes inclinados opuestamente y que cooperan, en las caras adyacentes de las placas de presión, iniciándose la aplicación del freno por un movimiento angular y en direcciones opuestas de las placas de presión, separándose entonces las placas de presión hasta ponerse en contacto con los discos de fricción, que son empujados hasta que se unen a las superficies radiales.
