Abstract
Un dispositivo turbocompresor accionado por gases de escape, para uso en relación con motores de combustión interna, que tiene rodetes de turbina y de compresor dispuestos en un árbol o eje común, y caracterizado porque dicho rodete de turbina está provisto de álabes de guía estructurados para ser recorridos por los gases diagonalmente desde el. exterior del rodete al interior del mismo; teniendo dichos álabes unos bordes de entrada esencialmente inclinados, de modo que el flujo de gases entrante se dirige perpendicularmente a dichos bordes de entrada proyectados en el plano meridiano; estando dispuesta la sección recta de dichos álabes de rodete de turbina radialmente en planos de sección perpendiculares al eje geométrico del rodete; formando dichos álabes del citado rodete de turbina en dicho borde de entrada, un ángulo de admisión menor de 90º con el eje geométrico del rodete; teniendo dicha turbina una envolvente de alojamiento construida en forma de, caja en voluta de un solo flujo, para la admisión de los gases al rodete de turbina en toda la superficie circunferencial de éste, a cuya parte de admisión o entrada van conectados por lo menos dos conductos de gas que vienen de los cilindros del motor unidos de tal manera que la sección recta de entrada de dichos conductos en dicha caja en voluta de un solo flujo es sólo ligeramente mayor que cada una de las secciones rectas individuales en las extremidades de dichos conductos de gas.
