Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine diamanthaltige Zusammensetzung (1), umfassend - Diamantpartikel (101), deren Oberfläche oxidiert ist und sauerstoffhaltige, funktionelle Gruppen wie Hydroxygruppen, Carboxygruppen, Ketogruppen, Aldehydgruppen, Epoxygruppen und/oder Lactongruppen aufweist, - ein hydrophiles Biopolymer (103), welches jeden einzelnen Diamantpartikel (101) umhüllt, wobei das hydrophile Biopolymer (103) über eine Vielzahl von Wasserstoffbrückenbindungen pro Molekül auf der Oberfläche der Diamantpartikel (101) gehalten wird. Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ferner ein Verfahren zur Herstellung der diamanthaltigen Zusammensetzung (1) sowie ein kosmetisches Mittel und dessen Verwendung.

Description

Diamanthaltige Zusammensetzung und Verfahren zu deren Herstellung
Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine diamanthaltige Zusammensetzung und ein Verfahren zu deren Herstellung sowie auf ein kosmetisches Mittel, welches die diamanthaltige Zusammensetzung enthält.
Diamanten werden nicht nur für die Schmuck- und Uhrenindustrie genutzt, sondern finden auch in der Medizin eine vielfältige Anwendung. Zum Beispiel werden Diamanten als Kontrastmittel eingesetzt. Auch zum Transport von Medikamenten in den Körper können Diamanten verwendet werden. Bei diesen Anwendungen von Diamanten liegt deren Korngröße ausschließlich im Nanobereich, d.h. in einem Bereich von 100 nm und kleiner.
So beschreiben beispielsweise Channa Shapira et al. in „Noninvasive Nanodiamond Skin Permeation Profiling Using a Phase Analysis Method: Ex Vivo Experiments“ (ACS Nano (2022)) die Herstellung von Nanodiamanten, die in der Lage sind, medizinische Mittel durch die Haut hindurch zu verabreichen. Die verwendeten Nanodiamanten dürfen dabei nicht größer als 100 nm sein.
Die Verwendung von Diamanten im kosmetischen Bereich beschränkt sich bislang darauf, Diamantpulver in Kosmetika einzurühren und diesen dann als „Beautyprodukt auf Diamant-Basis“ zu vermarkten. Dabei haben die hier verwendeten Diamanten Korngrößen im Bereich von mehreren Mikrometern und üben auf der Haut hauptsächlich einen optischen Effekt aus, insbesondere durch die Lichtbrechung und Lichtstreuung. Alternativ können Diamant-Pulver als Peeling-Substanz verwendet werden. Darüber hinaus gehende kosmetische Verwendungen von Diamanten sind nicht bekannt.
Allerdings besteht in der Kosmetik der Bedarf, nicht nur oberflächliche Effekte mit Diamanten zu erzeugen, sondern kosmetisch wirksame Präparate in die Haut hineinzubringen, ohne dabei wie im Falle der medizinischen Anwendungen mit Nanodiamanten in tiefste Hautschichten durchzudringen.
Der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, die Nachteile des Standes der Technik zu überwinden und eine diamanthaltige Zusammensetzung bereitzustellen und ein Verfahren zu deren Herstellung anzugeben, welche dazu ausgelegt ist, die Epidermis nahezu vollständig zu durchdringen, aber nicht in tiefere, unter der Epidermis liegende Hautschichten vordringt.
Diese Aufgabe wird einem ersten Aspekt der vorliegenden Erfindung durch eine diamanthaltige Zusammensetzung (1 ) gelöst, umfassend
- Diamantpartikel (101 ), deren Oberfläche oxidiert ist und sauerstoffhaltige, funktionelle Gruppen wie Hydroxygruppen, Carboxygruppen, Ketogruppen, Aldehydgruppen, Epoxygruppen und/oder Lactongruppen aufweist,
- ein hydrophiles Biopolymer (103), welches jeden einzelnen Diamantpartikel (101 ) umhüllt, wobei das hydrophile Biopolymer (103) über eine Vielzahl von Wasserstoffbrückenbindungen pro Molekül auf der Oberfläche der Diamantpartikel (101 ) gehalten wird.
Unter „Diamantpartikel“ wird im Sinne der vorliegenden Erfindung ein Partikel in der kubischen Modifikation des Kohlenstoffs verstanden, dessen Oberfläche oxidiert ist, so dass sie die vorstehend genannten Gruppen aufweist.
Mit „hydrophiles Biopolymer“ werden solche Polymere bezeichnet, die eine natürliche, biologische Entstehung haben bzw. in Pflanzen und/oder Tieren vorkommen, und hinsichtlich ihrer Löslichkeit bzw. Polarität so aufgebaut sind, dass sie sich in wässrigem Medium lösen lassen. Das Gegenteil zu dem erfindungsgemäßen hydrophilen Biopolymer wären fettlösliche, physiologische Stoffe.
Als Merkmal für diese hydrophilen Biopolymere (103) ist festzuhalten, dass die Löslichkeit nicht primär über salzartige oder ionische Gruppen erfolgt, sondern über eine hohe Polarität auf Basis von hydrophilen, organischen, funktionelle Gruppen.
Der Grund für die Wahl der hydrophilen Gruppen liegt erfindungsgemäß in der Fähigkeit, mit anderen hydrophilen Stoffen, namentlich der hydrophilen Oberflächenausprägung der Diamantpartikel (101 ), ausgeprägte Wasserstoffbrückenbindungen zu bilden. Die einzelnen Wasserstoffbrückenbindungen sind dabei jeweils schwach, aber durch die Vielzahl der Wasserstoffbrückenbindungen bzw. der Dichte an der Oberfläche der Diamantpartikel bleibt das hydrophile Biopolymer (103) „verlässlich“ an die Oberfläche der Diamantpartikel (101 ) gebunden. Ein hydrophiles Biopolymer (103) ist dabei typischerweise ein Makromolekül, dessen „Gewicht“ bzw. chemisches Gewicht in der Einheit Dalton (Da) bzw. Kilo-Dalton (kDa) angegeben wird.
Besonders wichtig für die vorliegende Erfindung ist der hohe Reinheitsgrad des Diamanten, bzw. der Diamantoberfläche, damit diese möglichst viele sauerstoffhaltige, funktionelle Gruppen der vorstehend genannten Art aufweist. Diese sauerstoffhaltigen, funktionellen Gruppen sind wiederum die Grundlage, damit das hydrophile Biopolymer (103) über Wasserstoffbrückenbindungen an die Diamantpartikel (101) „binden“ kann.
Mit der vorliegenden Erfindung wird erstmals die Möglichkeit eröffnet, ein hydrophiles Biopolymer (103) in ausreichend fester Art und Weise mit Diamantpartikeln (101 ) zu verbinden. Konkret kann jeder einzelne Diamantpartikel (101 ) von einem oder mehreren Molekülen des hydrophilen Biopolymers (103) ummantelt werden. Auf diese Weise ist es möglich, hydrophile Biopolymere (103) in tiefer liegende Hautschichten der Epidermis zu bringen, in die sie ohne den Träger Diamantpartikel (101 ) nicht ohne weiteres vordringen würden.
In einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform weisen die Diamantpartikel (101 ) eine Größe von 0,1 pm bis 5,0 pm, bevorzugt von 0,25 pm bis 1 ,5 pm, insbesondere von 0,5 pm bis 1 ,0 pm, auf.
Die Größenbestimmung der Diamantpartikel (101) erfolgte je nach Korngrößenbereich für Partikel von 1 pm bis 5 pm mittels Partikelgrößenmessung über das Coulter-Counter- Prinzip mit dem Gerät „Multisizer 3“ des Herstellers Beckman-Coulter, und für Partikel von 0,1 pm bis 1 pm mit einer CPS-Scheiben-Zentrifuge des gleichnamigen Herstellers.
Die Coulter-Counter-Methode verwendet Kapillaren mit definiertem Spannungspotential, wobei beim Durchfluss von zu messenden Partikeln für jeden Partikel einzeln eine Änderung des Widerstands detektiert wird. Die Scheibenzentrifuge basiert auf einem Retentionsprinzip analog der Chromatographie, d.h. zeitliche Messung der Penetration der Partikel durch einen Flüssigkeitsgradienten erlaubt des direkten Rückschluss auf die Partikelgröße. Dieses Verfahren ist das präziseste Verfahren zur Messung von Partikeln im Submikro- und Nano-Bereich.
Durch die erfindungsgemäß gewählte Partikelgröße wird einerseits sichergestellt, dass die diamanthaltige Zusammensetzung (1 ) in die Epidermis eindringen kann. Andererseits wird aber weitgehend ausgeschlossen, dass die diamanthaltige Zusammensetzung (1 ) in tiefer liegende Hautschichten unterhalb der Epidermis weiter vordringt. Die Auswahl des Basis-Stoffes Diamant garantiert zudem die physiologische Verträglichkeit und Unbedenklichkeit.
Bei den gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung verwendeten Diamantpartikeln (101 ) handelt es sich explizit nicht um Nanopartikel. Diese werden gemäß einer EU-weit gültigen Definition (vgl. https://single-market-economy.ec.europa.eu/sectors/cosmetics/ cosmetic-products-specific-topics/nanomaterials_en) zumindest in Bezug auf Kosmetika als Partikel in einem Bereich von 1 nm bis 100 nm definiert.
Es hat sich für die Zwecke der vorliegenden Erfindung als vorteilhaft herausgestellt, wenn die Diamantpartikel (101 ) eine sphärische Morphologie mit einem Länge-Breite- Verhältnis von 1 ,0 bis 2,0, bevorzugt von 1 ,3 bis 1 ,5, insbesondere von 1 ,4, aufweisen. Die sphärische Morphologie erleichtert das Eindringen der diamanthaltigen Zusammensetzung (1) in die Epidermis.
Das Länge-Breite-Verhältnis (engl. „aspect ratio“) gibt das Verhältnis zwischen dem minimalen und dem maximalen Durchmesser eines Partikels an. Es ist quasi ein Maß, wie „rund“ ein Partikel ist. Die Messung des Länge-Breite-Verhältnis erfolgte durch Bildanalyse. Je nach Partikelgröße werden Mikroskop-Aufnahmen bei Vergrößerungen von bis zu 100-fach erstellt. Die fein dispergierten, isolierten, vereinzelten Partikel werden fotografisch erfasst, von einer Software abgetrennt und erkannt. Die Software vermisst dann zusammen mit der verwendeten Vergrößerung die isolierten, eingekreisten Partikel und ermittelt das Länge-Breite-Verhältnis.
In der Praxis der vorliegenden Erfindung hat sich ein Verhältnis von 1 ,4 als optimal herausgestellt, um die Partikel der diamanthaltigen Zusammensetzung (1 ) möglichst problemlos in die Haut eindringen zu lassen, andererseits aber die Haut auch nicht zu verletzten, wie das bei scharfkantigen Diamantpartikeln der Fall sein könnte.
Das hydrophile Biopolymer (103) ist in einer Weiterbildung der Erfindung ausgewählt aus hydrophilen Polysacchariden, hydrophilen Peptiden, hydrophilen Aminosäuren, hydrophilen Polyamiden, hydrophilen Polyaminen, hydrophilen Polysulfonen oder Polysulfonaten, hydrophilen Polyphosphonen oder Phosphonaten, hydrophilen Polyelektrolyten oder Mischungen davon. Ganz besonders bevorzugt ist das hydrophile Biopolymer (103) Hyaluronsäure.
Vorteile und Wirkungen der Hyaluronsäure sind grundsätzlich bekannt. Mit der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es möglich, die an die Diamantpartikel (101 ) gebundene Hyaluronsäure in die tieferen Hautschichten der Epidermis bis etwa zur Basalzellschicht eindringen zu lassen. Dort kann die Hyaluronsäure die Haut mittels Wasserbindung aufpolstern und damit glätten. Die Diamantpartikel (101 ) wirken daneben zusätzlich physikalisch in der Haut und kurbeln eine intensive Hauterneuerung an. So kann die Hyaluronsäure ihre Wirkung genau dort erbringen, wo es gewünscht ist.
Speziell die Hyaluronsäure mit der glukoseartigen Struktur hat unzählige Hydroxy- Funktionen und damit Möglichkeiten, an die hydrophile Diamant-Oberfläche „anzudocken“. Damit umhüllt die makromolekulare Hyaluronsäure die Diamantpartikel (101 ). Gleiches gilt für andere, hydrophile Biopolymere oder Polyelektrolyte.
Besonders bevorzugt liegt die diamanthaltige Zusammensetzung (1 ) für eine Weiterbildung der Erfindung in einer vollständigen Dispersion der Diamantpartikel (101 ) in dem Biopolymer (103) vor.
Die erfindungsgemäße diamanthaltige Zusammensetzung (1 ) zeichnet sich in einer spezielle Ausführungsform dadurch aus, dass sie in der UV-/Vis-Spektroskopie im Wellenlängenbereich von 200 nm bis 1.100 nm eine Transmission von 0 % aufweist.
Diese spezielle Ausführungsform hat den Vorteil, dass die erfindungsgemäße diamanthaltige Zusammensetzung (1 ) zusätzlich zu den vorstehend beschriebenen vorteilhaften Wirkungen auch einen effektiven Sonnenschutz bietet. Eine konkrete Ausführungsform wird nachstehend noch beschrieben. [weitere Aspekte?]
Wenn in der Beschreibung der erfindungsgemäßen diamanthaltigen Zusammensetzung (1 ) Verfahrensmerkmale genannt werden, so beziehen sich diese auf das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren. Ebenso beziehen sich gegenständliche Merkmale, die in der Beschreibung des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens angeführt werden, auf die erfindungsgemäße diamanthaltige Zusammensetzung (1 ). Die vorstehend genannte Aufgabe wird in einem zweiten Aspekt der vorliegenden Erfindung durch ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer diamanthaltigen Zusammensetzung (1 ) wie sie vorstehend beschrieben wurde, gelöst, umfassend die Schritte a) Bereitstellen eines Diamantpulvers mit einer Partikelgröße von 0,1 pm bis 5,0 pm, b) chemisches Oxidieren der Partikeloberflächen des Diamantpulvers bei 450 C bis 550 °C in einer stark oxidierenden Schmelze, c) Erhalten von Diamantpartikeln (101 ), deren Oberfläche sauerstoffhaltige, funktionelle Gruppen wie Hydroxyguppen, Carboxygruppen, Ketogruppen, Aldehydgruppen, Epoxygruppen und/oder Lactongruppen aufweist, d) Aufbringen eines hydrophilen Biopolymers (103) auf die Diamantpartikel (101 ).
Die in Schritt a) bereitgestellten Diamantpulver sind bevorzugt monokristalline Diamanten, die beispielsweise mittels herkömmlicher Hoch-Druck-Hoch-Temperatur- Synthesen (HPHT) hergestellt werden können. Diese Diamantpulver werden erfindungsgemäß weiter konditioniert, beispielsweise indem sie gemahlen und damit geformt werden, d.h. die Kanten werden gebrochen und die Partikel damit etwas verrundet.
Erfindungsgemäß sehr wichtig ist die extreme und intensive Oberflächenreinigung des bereitgestellten Diamantpulvers mittels chemischer Oxidation in Schritt b). Ohne diese Behandlung würde der Diamant an der Oberfläche im Wesentlichen nur unpolare C-H- Bindungen aufweisen, an welche keine Wasserstoffbrücken binden können.
Durch die chemische Oxidation, vorzugsweise in flüssiger (wasserfreier) Lauge, im angegebenen Temperaturbereich, insbesondere bei etwa 480 °C, und Zugabe von starken, literaturbekannten, anorganischen Oxidationsmitteln kann die ansonsten inerte Diamant-Oberfläche aufgebrochen werden, um die die sauerstoffhaltigen, funktionellen Gruppen zu implementieren.
Bei diesem starken Oxidationsprozess geht auch signifikant Diamantgewicht in Form von Kohlendioxid verloren. Die erzeugte neue Oberfläche der Diamantpartikel besteht damit aus Kohlenstoff-Atomen, die zuvor im Inneren des Kristallgitters waren. Hierdurch ist die Oberfläche chemisch extrem rein, die Farbe der Diamantpartikel ist sehr hell bzw. farblos (weiß). Die chemische Reinheit der Oberflächen kann durch die Restgehalte an Ionen quantifiziert werden. Normale Metall- Ionen wie Fe, Cr, Cu, Ni sind maximal im einstelligen ppm-Bereich vorhanden, Alkali- und Erdalkali-Ionen sogar nur im einstelligen ppb-Bereich.
Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren weist grundsätzlich die vorstehend bereits beschriebenen Vorteile auf, dass eine diamanthaltige Zusammensetzung (1 ) hergestellt werden kann, welche ein hydrophiles Biopolymer (103) in ausreichend fester Art und Weise mit Diamantpartikeln (101 ) verbindet, so dass jeder einzelne Diamantpartikel (101 ) von einem oder mehreren Molekülen oder auch Makromolekülen des hydrophilen Biopolymers (103) ummantelt werden kann.
Das Aufbringen des hydrophilen Biopolymers (103) in Schritt d) erfolgt durch eine Art Inkubation, indem dem hydrophilen Biopolymer (103) Zeit gegeben wird, sich an die hinsichtlich vorhandener Polarität spezielle Oberfläche der erfindungsgemäßen Diamantpartikel (101 ) anzulagern.
Die hochgradig vollständige Dispergierung der Diamantpartikel (101 ) und die dabei erfolgende vollständige Auflösung der Makromoleküle des hydrophilen Biopolymers (103) kann viele Stunden dauern, bis das entsprechende Aufquellen und Lösen abgeschlossen ist. Ebenso ist es wichtig, das nur begrenzt in Wasser lösliche hydrophile Biopolymer (103) vollständig zu lösen, ohne dass Gel-Klümpchen gebildet werden.
In einer Weiterbildung des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrenswerden in oder nach Schritt d) die Diamantpartikel (101 ) in dem Biopolymer (103) vollständig dispergiert.
Bei einem Material mit der Partikelgröße der erfindungsgemäßen diamanthaltigen Zusammensetzung (1 ) ist es nicht trivial, eine stabile Dispersion herzustellen. Vergleichsversuche mit herkömmlichem Diamant-Pulver im ähnlichen Partikelgrößenbereich haben gezeigt, dass dort immer restliche „Klümpchen“ verbleiben und das Material rasch flockt und/oder sedimentiert.
Demgegenüber sorgt die erfindungsgemäß chemisch sehr reine Oberfläche der Diamantpartikel (101 ) für eine sehr gute gesundheitliche Verträglichkeit. Durch die starke chemische Oxidation erhalten die Diamantpartikel (101 ) zudem eine hydrophile und teilweise negativ geladene Oberflächenausprägung. Die in Wasser dispergierten Mischungen haben dadurch typischerweise ein Zeta- Potential von - 46 mV ± 2 mV. Diese einheitliche Oberflächen-Ladung ermöglicht bzw. garantiert die vollständige Dispergierung. Dieses spezifische Zeta- Potential der erfindungsgemäßen Diamantpartikel (101 ) könnte auch zu deren Charakterisierung herangezogen werden. Nicht behandelter bzw. nicht oxidierter Diamant hat ein betragsmäßig niedrigeres Zeta- Potential als die erfindungsgemäßen Diamantpartikel (101 ).
In einem dritten Aspekt betrifft die vorliegende Erfindung ein kosmetisches Mittel, umfassend,
- die diamanthaltige Zusammensetzung (1 ), wie sie vorstehend beschrieben wurde,
- ein fluides Trägermaterial.
Das fluides Trägermaterial ist bevorzugt gereinigtes Wasser. Weitere Zusätze sind erfindungsgemäß nicht notwendig.
Je nach Bedarf können aber durch Aufdicken der Mischung durchaus andere Zusätze zugeben werden, diese würden dann beispielsweise in einer Art Öl-in-Wasser-System vorliegen.
Das erfindungsgemäße kosmetische Mittel weist grundsätzlich die vorstehend bereits beschriebenen Vorteile auf, nämlich dass die darin enthaltene diamanthaltige Zusammensetzung (1 ) ein hydrophiles Biopolymer (103) in ausreichend fester Art und Weise mit Diamantpartikeln (101 ) verbunden aufweist, so dass jeder einzelne Diamantpartikel (101 ) von einem oder mehreren Molekülen des hydrophilen Biopolymers (103) ummantelt werden kann.
Das hydrophile Biopolymer (103) an sich bewirkt nur mittelbar einen Effekt. Vielmehr wird durch das hydrophile Biopolymer (103), insbesondere die sehr hydrophile Hyaluronsäure, Wasser bzw. Wassermoleküle angezogen und gebunden. Das angezogene oder gebundene Wasser versorgt dann die Haut aus dem Inneren heraus mit Feuchtigkeit, d.h. hydrophile Biopolymer (103), insbesondere die Hyaluronsäure, baut einen Wasserspeicher für die Haut auf.
Ein vierter Aspekt der vorliegenden Erfindung bezieht sich schließlich auf die Verwendung des vorstehend genannten kosmetischen Mittels zum Aufträgen auf die Haut, wobei die diamanthaltige Zusammensetzung (1 ) in tiefere Hautschichten bis zur Basalzellschicht durchdringt und dort Wasser an dem hydrophilen Biopolymer (103) bindet.
Weitere Ziele, Merkmale, Vorteile und Anwendungsmöglichkeiten ergeben sich aus der nachfolgenden Beschreibung von die Erfindung nicht einschränkenden Ausführungsbeispielen anhand der Figuren. Dabei bilden alle beschriebenen und/oder bildlich dargestellten Merkmale für sich oder in beliebiger Kombination den Gegenstand der Erfindung, auch unabhängig von ihrer Zusammenfassung in den Ansprüchen oder deren Rückbeziehung. Es zeigen:

In Figur 1 ist schematisch die bekannte Struktur von Diamant mit seiner kubischen Modifikation des Kohlenstoffs dargestellt.
Figur 2 stellt das Kristallgitter des Diamanten aus Figur 1 dar, wobei hier die Struktur chemisch oxidiert wurde, so dass sauerstoffhaltige, funktionelle Gruppen auf der Oberfläche verankert sind, in dieser speziellen Darstellung Hydroxygruppen und Carboxygruppen.
In Figur 3 ist schematisch die bekannte Strukturformel von Hyaluronsäure dargestellt.
Figur 4 zeigt schematisch, wie die Hyaluronsäure, als besonders bevorzugter Fall des hydrophilen Biopolymers 103, über eine Vielzahl von Wasserstoffbrückenbindungen an der Oberfläche des oxidierten erfindungsgemäßen Diamantpartikels 101 angelagert, bzw. gebunden ist.
In Figur 5 wird zunächst das Spektrum von Diamant abgebildet, wobei die mit (II) bezeichnete Kurve den unbehandelten Diamanten und die mit (III) bezeichnete Kurve den oxidierten Diamanten zeigt. Im Vergleich lässt sich für den oxidierten Diamanten bei einer Wellenzahl von etwa 1 150/cm sehr deutlich die Bande für C-O-C erkennen, die für den unbehandelten Diamanten nicht merklich vorhanden ist. Dies macht deutlich, dass die Oberfläche des Diamanten massiv verändert wurde. Sehr ausgeprägt und prägnant ist auch die Valenzschwingung der Carbonyl-Bande bei einer Wellenzahl von etwa 1700/cm, die nur bei den erfindungsgemäß oxidierten Diamantpartikeln 101 vorhanden ist bzw. bei herkömmlichem nicht-oxidiertem Diamant fehlt.
Das IR-Spektrum der Hyaluronsäure wird in Figur 6 als Kurve (I) wiedergegeben, es zeigt die bekannten Banden für diese Substanz. Die glukosebasierte Struktur ist mit den Banden für C-O-C, C=O, C-H und O-H gut erkennbar.
In Figur 7 wird das IR-Spektrum der erfindungsgemäßen diamanthaltigen Zusammensetzung 1 als Kurve (IV) dargestellt, das zum Vergleich auch die Spektren des unbehandelten Diamanten in Kurve (II), des oxidierten Diamanten in Kurve (III) und der Hyaluronsäure in Kurve (I) enthält. Die markante Bande für C-O-C bei einer Wellenzahl von etwa 1150/cm ist weiterhin sehr deutlich zu erkennen, daneben erscheint in Kurve (IV) zudem die Bande für O-H bei einer Wellenzahl von etwa 3400/cm. Dies wird als Nachweis dafür gewertet, dass die Hyaluronsäure über eine Vielzahl von Wasserstoffbrückenbindungen auf der Diamantoberfläche gebunden ist. Die ausgeprägte Valenz-Schwingung bei einer Wellenzahl von etwa 1700/cm in Kurve (IV) für die Probe von Hyaluronsäure auf Diamant bestätigt die gelungene Kombination der beiden Stoffe, da diese Bande für die reine Hyaluronsäure nicht ausgeprägt ist.
Bei weiteren Untersuchungen hat sich gezeigt, dass die Wasserstoffbrückenbindungen relativ langzeitstabil sind. Damit ist auch der Effekt, den die erfindungsgemäße diamanthaltige Zusammensetzung 1 in der Haut ausübt langanhaltend. Hierdurch kann das erfindungsgemäße kosmetische Mittel eine viel intensivere Wirkung aufweisen.
In Figur 8 wird ein UV-/Vis-Spektrum einer erfindungsgemäßen Probe der diamanthaltigen Zusammensetzung 1 gezeigt, dargestellt als gestrichelte Messkurve. Die Messungen wurden an einem Spektrometer der Fa. Analytik Jena, Typ „Specord 200 plus“ im Wellenlängenbereich zwischen 200 nm und 1.100 nm durchgeführt. Die Messbedingungen waren im gesamte UV-/Vis-Spektrum Standardbedingungen (Raumtemperatur, Umgebungsdruck).
In Anlehnung an die ISO 24444-2019 wurde eine Bezugsmenge der erfindungsgemäßen diamanthaltigen Zusammensetzung 1 in einer Menge von 2 mg/cm2 verwendet. Hierzu wurde die erfindungsgemäße diamanthaltige Zusammensetzung 1 mit der Original- Konzentration von 50 mg/ml (bzw. 15 kt/60 ml) auf die entsprechende Konzentration in einem Kubikzentimeter in einer UV/Vis-Messküvette herunterverdünnt.
Dabei war zu beobachten, dass die trotz Verdünnung hohe Anzahl an erfindungsgemäßen Diamantpartikeln 101 die Probe während der UV-/Vis-Messung vollständig undurchlässig macht. Bei der reinen visuellen Betrachtung konnte durch die Probe nicht hindurchgesehen werden.
Wie dem UV-/Vis-Spektrum (gestrichelte Messkurve) in Figur 8 zu entnehmen ist, dringt auch keine UVA/UVB-Strahlung im Bereich einer Wellenlänge von 280 nm bis 380 nm durch die Probe hindurch. Das Spektrum zeigt im Bereich einer Wellenlänge zwischen 200 nm und 1.100 nm eine waagerecht gerade Messkurve bei 0 % Transmission.
Zum Vergleich und zur Kontrolle der Funktionalität der Messung wurde eine Vergleichsprobe aus der reinen Trägerflüssigkeit der erfindungsgemäßen Probe (d.h. ohne mit Hyaluronsäure versehene Diamantpartikel) als Placebo gemessen. An der durchgehenden Messkurve im UV-/Vis-Spektrum der Figur 8 zeigt sich, dass diese ab einer Wellenlänge von etwa 350 nm eine T ransmission von 100 % zeigt, also vollständig durchlässig ist.
Das Ergebnis dieser Messungen zeigt, dass die erfindungsgemäße diamanthaltige Zusammensetzung 1 nicht nur erstmals die Möglichkeit eröffnet, ein hydrophiles Biopolymer 103 in ausreichend fester Art und Weise mit Diamantpartikeln 101 zu verbinden und so hydrophile Biopolymere 103 in tiefer liegende Hautschichten der Epidermis zu bringen, sondern überdies einen UVA/UVB-Schutz zeigt und damit die Wirkung eines effektiven Sonnenschutzes bietet. Claims

Patentansprüche
1 . Diamanthaltige Zusammensetzung (1 ), umfassend
- Diamantpartikel (101), deren Oberfläche oxidiert ist und sauerstoffhaltige, funktionelle Gruppen wie Hydroxygruppen, Carboxygruppen, Ketogruppen, Aldehydgruppen, Epoxygruppen und/oder Lactongruppen aufweist,
- ein hydrophiles Biopolymer (103), welches jeden einzelnen Diamantpartikel (101 ) umhüllt, wobei das hydrophile Biopolymer (103) über eine Vielzahl von Wasserstoffbrückenbindungen pro Molekül auf der Oberfläche der Diamantpartikel (101) gehalten wird.
2. Diamanthaltige Zusammensetzung (1) nach Anspruch 1 , wobei die Diamantpartikel (101) eine Größe von 0,1 pm bis 5,0 pm, bevorzugt von 0,25 pm bis 1 ,5 pm, insbesondere von 0,5 pm bis 1 ,0 pm, aufweisen.
3. Diamanthaltige Zusammensetzung (1 ) nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei die Diamantpartikel (101) eine sphärische Morphologie mit einem Länge-Breite- Verhältnis von 1 ,0 bis 2,0, bevorzugt von 1 ,3 bis 1 ,5, insbesondere von 1 ,4, aufweisen.

Diamanthaltige Zusammensetzung (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, wobei das hydrophile Biopolymer (103) ausgewählt ist aus hydrophilen Polysacchariden, hydrophilen Peptiden, hydrophilen Aminosäuren, hydrophilen Polyamiden, hydrophilen Polyaminen, hydrophilen Polysulfonen oder Polysulfonaten, hydrophilen Polyphosphonen oder Phosphonaten, hydrophilen Polyelektrolyten oder Mischungen davon.
5. Diamanthaltige Zusammensetzung (1 ) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, wobei das hydrophile Biopolymer (103) Hyaluronsäure ist.
6. Diamanthaltige Zusammensetzung (1 ) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, wobei die diamanthaltige Zusammensetzung (1) in einer vollständigen Dispersion der Diamantpartikel (101) in dem Biopolymer (103) vorliegt.
7. Diamanthaltige Zusammensetzung (1 ) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, wobei die diamanthaltige Zusammensetzung (1) in der UV-/Vis-Spektroskopie im Wellenlängenbereich von 200 nm bis 1.100 nm eine Transmission von 0 % aufweist.
8. Verfahren zur Herstellung einer diamanthaltigen Zusammensetzung (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, umfassend die Schritte a) Bereitstellen eines Diamantpulvers mit einer Partikelgröße von 0,1 pm bis 5,0 pm, b) chemisches Oxidieren der Partikeloberflächen des Diamantpulvers bei 450 C bis 550 °C in einer stark oxidierenden Schmelze, c) Erhalten von Diamantpartikeln (101), deren Oberfläche sauerstoffhaltige, funktionelle Gruppen wie Hydroxyguppen, Carboxygruppen, Ketogruppen, Aldehydgruppen, Epoxygruppen und/oder Lactongruppen aufweist, d) Aufbringen eines hydrophilen Biopolymers (103) auf die Diamantpartikel (101 ).
9. Verfahren nach Anspruch 8, wobei in Schritt d) die Diamantpartikel (101) in dem Biopolymer (103) vollständig dispergiert werden.
10. Kosmetisches Mittel, umfassend,
- die diamanthaltige Zusammensetzung (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7,
- ein fluides Trägermaterial.
11. Verwendung des kosmetischen Mittels nach Anspruch 109 zum Aufträgen auf die Haut, wobei die diamanthaltige Zusammensetzung (1) in tiefere Hautschichten bis zur Basalzellschicht durchdringt und dort Wasser an dem hydrophilen Biopolymer (103) bindet.
