Die Erfindung betrifft einen Cracker (1) für Ammoniak, der einen Reaktionsraum (10) aufweist, in dem Ammoniak zu Stickstoff und Wasserstoff umgewandelt wird, wobei der Reaktionsraum (10) eine keramische Auskleidung (16) aufweist oder eine Vollkeramik (16) aufweist.

Beschreibung
Ammoniak-Cracker in keramischer Auskleidung und Verfahren
Die Erfindung betri f ft einen Ammoniak-Cracker in keramischer Auskleidung und ein Verfahren .
Ammoniak ist eine vielversprechende Energiequelle , um Wasserstof f (H2 ) ZU speichern und zu transportieren und eine Reihe von Problemen im Zusammenhang mit der kohlenstof f freien Energieerzeugung und -Verteilung zu lösen .
Der thermische Wirkungsgrad derzeit verfügbarer Ammoniak- Cracker-Konzepte , die insbesondere als Wasserstof f lief erant in der Metallverarbeitung eingesetzt werden, bietet erhebliches Verbesserungspotenzial , da die Spaltung von Ammoniak in Wasserstof f und Stickstof f ein Hochtemperaturprozess ist .
Verfügbare Anlagenkonzepte weisen konstruktionsbedingt hohe Wärmeverluste und damit einen geringen Wirkungsgrad auf .
Darüber hinaus wird eine metallische Reaktorstruktur sowohl durch das Ammoniak als auch durch die Reaktionsprodukte , insbesondere durch den Wasserstof f , und durch das Gasgemisch aus Wasserstof f und Ammoniak bei hohen Temperaturen korrosiv angegri f fen .
Es ist daher Aufgabe der Erfindung, oben genannte Probleme zu lösen .
Die Aufgabe wird gelöst durch einen Ammoniak-Cracker mit keramischer Auskleidung gemäß Anspruch 1 und ein Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 9 .
Ein keramisch ausgekleideter, wärmeflussreduzierter Ammoniak- Cracker mit integriertem Wärmetauscher stellt ein wärmestromoptimiertes und verlustwärmereduziertes System dar, mit dem der Wirkungsgrad erheblich gesteigert werden kann . Mit einer keramischen Auskleidung des Brennraums kann die metallische Reaktorstruktur vor dem Einfluss der korrosiven Ammoniak- , Wasserstof f- und Ammoniak-Wasserstof f-Atmosphäre geschützt werden .
Flüssiges Ammoniak kann bei Temperaturen von etwa 1193K mit Hil fe eines Crackers wieder in seine Bestandteile Wasserstof f und Stickstof f zerlegt werden .
Der Cracker weist einen Reaktor, einen Brenner, einen Wärmetauscher und eine thermische I solierung auf .
Da es sich beim „Cracking" um einen Hochtemperaturprozess handelt , hängt der Wirkungsgrad von den internen Stof fströmen und dem Wärmemanagement ab . Daher wird ein keramisch isoliertes System mit geringem Wärmestrom und integriertem Wärmetauscher vorgeschlagen .
Durch die keramische Auskleidung wird eine metallische Struktur des Reaktors vor dem korrosiven Angri f f des Ammoniaks und der Reaktionsprodukte geschützt .
Eine Reihe von keramischen Werkstof fen sind aufgrund ihrer Wärmeleitfähigkeitseigenschaften für die thermische I solation geeignet . Keramiken besitzen auch häufig eine hohe chemische Beständigkeit und eine hohe Korrosionsbeständigkeit . Eine für die Auskleidung des Ammoniak-Crackers geeignete Keramik stellt beispielsweise die in Ringbrennkammern stationärer Gasturbinen verwendete Feuerf estkeramik dar . Einer der Hauptvorteile dieser Keramik ist , dass sie sehr kostengünstig ist und eine lange Lebensdauer unter Brennkammeranwendungen hat . Sie besitzt eine niedrige Wärmeleitfähigkeit , eine hohe Wärmekapazität und weist eine hohe Korrosionsbeständigkeit auf .
Die Integration von Reaktor, (H2-betriebenem) Brenner und Wärmetauscher in ein thermisch isoliertes und für den Wärmestrom optimiertes System ermöglicht einen hohen Wirkungsgrad . Die Lebensdauer eines solchen Systems wird durch eine den korrosiven Angri f f der Metallstruktur vermeidende keramische Reaktorauskleidung verlängert .
Ammoniak-Cracker mit hohem Wirkungsgrad ergänzen die Wasserstof f technologie im Hinblick auf Anwendungen, für die große Mengen Wasserstof f lokal verfügbar gemacht werden müssen .
Es zeigt die Figur 1 schematisch die Darstellung eines Ammoniak-Crackers .
Der Ammoniak-Cracker 1 weist einen Reaktionsraum 10 auf , in den über eine Ammoniak-Zuleitung 7 aus einem Tank 4 für Ammoniak Ammoniak zugeleitet wird .
Die Geometrie des Reaktionsraums 10 ist vorzugsweise so auszuführen, dass die für die Reaktion erforderliche Wärmeenergie ef fektiv zugeführt werden kann .
Das Ammoniak wird nicht direkt auf dem kürzesten Weg in den Reaktionsraum 10 geleitet , sondern durchläuft auf dem Weg zum Reaktionsraum 10 einen Wärmetauscher 13 , um die Wärmeenergie der Reaktionsgase auf das einströmende Ammoniak zu übertragen .
Der Wärmetauscher 13 kann beispielsweise um den Reaktionsraum 10 herum angeordnet werden . Das Ammoniak strömt an dem Reaktionsraum 10 vorbei bis zu einer Einlassstelle 33 und ist in der Zuleitung 7 vorzugsweise gekoppelt mit einem Wärmetauscher 13 .
Der Reaktionsraum 10 weist eine keramische Auskleidung auf oder weist eine Vollkeramik 16 auf , die direkt und insbesondere vollständig den Reaktionsraum 10 begrenzt .
In dem Reaktionsraum 10 oder außerhalb des Reaktionsraums 10 ist ein Hei zer 25 angeordnet . Dies stellt nur eine schematische Darstellung für Zufuhr thermischer Energie zum Cracken dar . Andere Möglichkeiten, auch in Kombination, wie z . B . ein Brenner, sind ebenfalls möglich .
Um die innere keramische Auskleidung 16 ist der Wärmetauscher 13 angeordnet .
Das Ammoniak aus der Ammoniak-Zuleitung 7 wird bewusst um den Reaktionsraum 10 geleitet und an der Einlassstelle 33 zugeführt . Die Endprodukte aus dem Reaktionsraum 10 werden an zur Einlassstelle 33 entgegengesetzter Auslassstelle 30 via Auslassleitung 36 ausgeleitet .
Das „kalte" Ammoniak aus dem Tank 4 wird von den heißen ge- crackten Endprodukten vorgewärmt .
Einlassstelle 33 und Auslassstelle 30 sind daher vorzugsweise an den Stirnseiten des länglichen Reaktionsraums 10 angeordnet .
Die Auslassleitung 36 wird ebenso um den Reaktionsraum 10 geführt und ist dabei mit dem Wärmetauscher 13 gekoppelt . Dadurch können die warmen Endprodukte das kalte Ausgangsprodukt erwärmen . Dies geschieht mittels dem Wärmetauscher 13 .
Dabei können die Leitungen 7 , 36 sowie Wärmetauscher 13 radial abwärts um den Umfang des Reaktionsraums 10 geführt werden oder sie verlaufen mäanderf örmig um den Reaktionsraum 10 , um möglichst lange einen Wärmetausch zu ermöglichen .
Wasserstof f und Stickstof f können als Gemisch an anderer Stelle 22 entnommen und getrennt werden .
Die Stelle 22 liegt daher vorzugsweise der Auslassstelle 30 gegenüber .
Zur äußeren I solierung 19 um den Wärmetauscher 13 herum wird ebenfalls eine Vollkeramik verwendet . Als Material für die keramische Auskleidung oder die Vollkeramik wird vorzugsweise Aluminiumoxid vorzugsweise mit einem Anteil von bis zu 15% Spinell verwendet .
Ebenso ist Aluminiumoxid und/oder Sili ziumoxid und/oder Zir- konoxid denkbar .
Das Prinzip kann für j eden Cracker angewendet werden .

Claims

6 Patentansprüche
1. Cracker (1) für Ammoniak, der einen Reaktionsraum (10) aufweist, in dem Ammoniak zu Stickstoff und Wasserstoff umgewandelt wird, wobei der Reaktionsraum (10) eine keramische Auskleidung (16) aufweist oder eine Vollkeramik (16) aufweist.
2. Cracker nach Anspruch 1, bei dem ein Wärmetauscher (13) vorhanden ist, insbesondere um den Reaktionsraum (10) herum, durch den Ammoniak aus einem Tank (4) in der Zuleitung (7) vorgewärmt werden kann.
3. Cracker nach Anspruch 2, bei dem um den Wärmetauscher (13) eine äußere keramische Auskleidung (19) vorhanden ist.
4. Cracker nach einem oder mehreren der vorherigen Ansprüche 1, 2 oder 3, bei dem die Keramik für die Auskleidung (13, 16) Aluminiumoxid, Siliziumoxid oder Zirkonoxid, insbesondere mit maximal 15% Spinell, aufweist .
5. Cracker nach einem oder mehreren der vorherigen Ansprüche 1, 2, 3 oder 4, bei dem in dem Reaktionsraum (10) oder außerhalb des Brennraums (10) ein Heizer (25) vorhanden ist .
6. Cracker nach einem oder mehreren der vorherigen Ansprüche 2, 3, 4 oder 5, bei dem ein Wärmetauscher (13) die Zuleitung (7) von Ammoniak und die Auslassleitung (36) 7 der Produkte des Crackers (1) umfasst. Cracker nach einem oder mehreren der vorherigen Ansprüche 2, 3, 4, 5 oder 6, bei dem die Einlassstelle (33) für Ammoniak der Auslassstelle (30) des Reaktionsraums (10) gegenüber liegt, so dass die Zuleitung (7) von Ammoniak und die Auslassleitung (36) der Produkte des Crackers (1) möglichst lang parallel zueinander verlaufen. Cracker nach einem oder mehreren der vorherigen Ansprüche 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 oder 7, bei dem die Zuleitung (7) , die Auslassleitung (36) und der Wärmetauscher (13) zusammen um den Reaktionsraum (10) parallel verlaufen. Verfahren zur Generierung von Wasserstoff, bei dem ein Cracker (1) nach einem oder mehreren der vorherigen Ansprüche 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 oder 8 verwendet wird. . Verfahren nach Anspruch 9, bei dem die warmen Produkte aus dem Reaktionsraum (10) mittels Wärmetauscher (13) das Ausgangprodukt Ammoniak in der Zuleitung (7) vorwärmen.
