Furthermore, the cable 18 preferably has a sheath 36 made of a sliding material, which is preferably made of a material resistant to the temperatures occurring during operation of the cooking appliance 1. Because of this sheath 36, the comparatively rigid cable or line 18 is nevertheless very lubricated, so that the cable 18 can move very freely along the receiving space 29. The corresponding movement is in Fig. 1 illustrated by the double arrow 31.
  • the cable 18 is guided in a U-shaped arc 37 towards a device-side strain relief element 38, which is located in Fig. 3
  • the diagram is shown only schematically and not with regard to its actual structural design. In this case, this device-side strain relief element 38 is attached to the pilaster 26.
  • the receiving chamber 29 has a cable outlet 39 in an end area furthest from the door, which is arranged or formed on an upper side of the cable duct 28 (compare Fig. 6 Accordingly, in this configuration of the cable duct 28, the arc 37 already begins in the area of the recording room 29.
  • the cable outlet 39 is located at an end of the cable duct 28 furthest from the door. Accordingly, in this configuration of the cable duct 28, the cable 18 is laid over a greater length along a section of the receiving space 29, which extends in the depth direction y of the cooking appliance 1.
  • the length of the cable 18, and in particular the bend 37, extending from the strain relief element 38 on the appliance side to the strain relief element 34 on the door side is sufficient to allow the relative movements of the cable 18 caused by opening and closing the door 5 in the form of pivoting the door 5 about the pivot axis A.
  • this length is further dimensioned such that the amount of cable 18 pulled out of the receiving space 29 by a user of the cooking appliance 1 is limited to a predetermined amount.
  • the user or customer has no possibility of pulling the line 18 out of the receiving space 29 by more than approximately 15 millimeters. This ensures that, especially in the area of the swivel axis A (compare Fig. 1 ) of door 5 and thus does not unintentionally form a loop or kink in the line 18 in an area accessible when door 5 is open.
  • the receiving space 29, bounded by the wall 30 of the cable duct 28, is preferably bounded on one side opposite the wall 30 in the transverse direction x of the cooking appliance 1 by the outer side 27 of the hinge base body 24.
  • Fig. 7 and Fig. 8 A possible connection or fixing of the cable duct 28 to the outside 27 of the hinge base body 24 can be explained.
  • the cable duct 28 has a locking element 41, preferably formed integrally with a base body of the cable duct 28, which in this case functions as a bayonet locking element. Accordingly, two locking pins 42 project perpendicularly from a shaft 42 of the locking element 41, which, when the cable duct 28 is attached to the hinge base body 24, interact with a corresponding receptacle (not shown in detail here) to achieve the bayonet locking mechanism.
  • the locking element 41 which absorbs the main forces in the assembled state of the cable duct 28, is arranged in an end region of the cable duct 28 near the door.
  • a snap-hook-type latching element 44 is arranged as a fastening element. This latching element projects from a wall 45 of the cable duct 28 extending in the vertical direction z of the cooking appliance 1 towards the hinge base 24.
  • this snap-hook 44 engages in a corresponding receiving opening, approximately in the form of a screw hole, after the locking element 41, which in this case functions as a bayonet lock, is engaged.
  • the cable duct 28 has a stop element 46 arranged on its underside, which in Fig. 8 which is easier to see.
  • the stop element 46 serves as an end stop to assist in mounting the cable duct 28 to the hinge base 24.
  • the stop element 46 can engage in a corresponding receptacle formed on the hinge base 24.
  • the stop element 46 can be used, as shown here, in Fig. 8 shown to have a locking lug 47 or similar locking element which engages a wall 59 of the hinge base body 24 (compare Fig. 8 ).
  • FIG. 10 A first variant of the door-side strain relief element 34 is shown in a perspective view. Accordingly, the strain relief element 34 has a collar 48 which, when the strain relief element 34 is mounted to the windshield 6, rests against an inner surface 49 of the windshield 6 (compare Fig. 3 Furthermore, narrow sides of opposing side walls 50 of the canal section lie 35 on this inside 49 of the windshield 6. From Fig. 10 It is further evident that a plurality of ribs 51, which clamp the conductor 18, protrude from these side walls 50, between which the conductor 18 is clamped.
  • the door-side strain relief element 34 has a passage through the opening 33 in the front window 6 (compare Fig. 3
  • the area passing through the opening 33 is provided by a plurality of centering arms 52, with three centering arms 52 being provided in this case, spaced evenly apart from one another in the circumferential direction of the opening 33.
  • the centering arms 52 may have respective compression ribs 53, which, in the installed state of the strain relief element 34, bear against a wall that circumferentially delimits the opening 33 and is provided by the front panel 6.
  • These centering arms 52, as well as, in the example shown, two locking arms 54, serve as jamb protection for the passage of the cable 18 through the front panel 6, which in this case is made of glass.
  • the preferably spring-loaded locking arms 54 each have a locking section 55 designed in the manner of a locking lug, wherein the locking sections 55 of the locking arms 54 bear against the front side 8 of the windscreen 6 when the door-side strain relief element 34 is mounted on the windscreen 6.
  • FIG. 13 A second variant of the door-side strain relief element 34 is shown, in which a support plate 56 is formed integrally with a base body of the strain relief element 34, and which in this case has a mounting eye 57.
  • a screw (not shown) can be passed through the mounting eye 57 of this support plate 56 or screw plate to securely fix the door-side strain relief element 34 to the front window 6.
  • the section of the strain relief element 34 comprising the locking arms 54 and the centering arms 52 can be clipped into the through-opening 33. Then, for a particularly robust fixing of the door-side strain relief element 34, the strain relief element 34 can be screwed to the front window 6 in the area of the support plate 56.
  • two support walls 58 are formed, which extend from the support plate 56, located on the inside 49 of the windshield 6, to one of the side walls 50 of the channel section 35. These support walls 58 increase the stability of the support plate 56.
