Definitions

  • the invention relates to a coating medium guide device, a spray gun and an arrangement.
  • Spray guns with paint conducting devices are known, for example, from WO2018/109625 A1 (3M), WO2016/138888 A1 (HSM) and EP 2 726 212 A1 (SATA).
  • the coating agent guide should be easy to arrange on the spray gun and should be held firmly on it and should also be easy to detach again.
  • the invention is based on the object of further developing such spray guns in such a way that particularly good stability is achieved in a simple manner. Preferably, this is even achieved with the least possible use of material or inexpensive materials.
  • the coating medium guide device is held firmly in all degrees of freedom and can be fed and reversibly fixed in one degree of freedom, for example on a straight line or a curved line.
  • confirmation copy 2 can be achieved by clamps, latches or, for example, by a union nut.
  • the holder in the other degrees of freedom is achieved by a firm contact with contact surfaces. This fixed contact takes place during the feed and ultimately during the fixation, which presses the supplied paint guide device against the contact surface.
  • the coating agent guide device is pressed into the correct position by guide surfaces when it is fed to the spray gun. As long as the paint guide device is still loosely guided, the guide surfaces help to move the paint guide device into a position in which it finally finds a stop and is fixed to the spray gun. These guide surfaces are arranged at a slight angle to the optimal feed direction and act like a funnel in order to optimally center the paint guide device in relation to the spray gun.
  • the mechanical guide which can extend parallel to the outlet line, for example, guides the coating agent guide device when it is arranged on the spray gun on the way to a stop on the spray gun.
  • This path is usually a line or a curve.
  • the mechanical guidance allows the feeding in this way and prevents deviating from this way, preferably by spaced, parallel contact surfaces.
  • the mechanical guide is therefore not a one-sided sloping guide surface, but it acts like a rail or a channel and makes it possible to guide the paint guide device, which is already optimally aligned with the spray gun, on a defined path to the spray gun until the paint guide device hits a stop on the spray gun interacts with the spray gun, usually in a sealing manner.
  • the mechanical guide can also have guide surfaces that converge conically in order to center the coating medium guide device and then guide it to a defined point on the contact surface with the mechanical guide. Thereby 3, manual approach is facilitated and accurate positioning is improved.
  • the mechanical guide can be a mandrel, for example, which is arranged in the feed direction. It can also be designed as a tongue and groove connection which, in the feed direction, guides the coating medium guide device to the contact surface on the spray gun like a rail.
  • the dome can lead into a narrowing borehole and/or itself be designed conically in order to position the coating medium guide device before it is fed in.
  • the groove can also narrow and/or the tongue can narrow in the feed direction, so that the paint guide device can be fed in loosely and is only positioned precisely on the way, in order ultimately to be guided precisely to the spray gun via the mechanical guide.
  • the mechanical guide is preferably designed in such a way that it guides the previously centered coating agent guide device on a predefined line to the stop on the spray gun.
  • the sealing contact surface around a paint needle then preferably no longer has to assume a centering function. This is particularly relevant when the sealing surface has a softer sealing material that could be damaged during centering. Even if the sealing surface has a structure such as, in particular, the elevations sliding in grooves described in WO 2016/138888 A1 and WO2018/109625A1, it is advantageous if very good centering is achieved early on when approaching, so that the elevations and depressions are good mutually centered and do not first have to cause centering in order to only then be able to interact with one another in a sealing manner.
  • a protruding element slides in a recess up to the stop of the paint guide device on the spray gun, it can happen that dirt in the recess is displaced with the protruding element and ultimately impede a sealing contact of the paint guide device on the spray gun.
  • the depression is open or enlarged in such a way that dirt can collect at the end of the depression or even be pushed into a space with the protruding element, so that it does not impede the system of the coating agent guide device on the spray gun.
