Definitions
- This presentation concerns an assembly comprising an opening, a frame and a hinge system mounted on the opening and the frame.
- hinge we mean any type of hinge.
- Hinge systems are known, whether invisible or not, for hingedly mounting an opening relative to a frame with the aim of allowing the opening and closing of the opening relative to the frame.
- the configuration of the assembly above allows, thanks to the corner hinge, to articulate the opening in relation to the frame according to one or the other of two perpendicular axes, when one of the two lockable hinges / unlockables is in the locked position and the other hinge is in the unlocked position.
- the hinges are unlocked via the control member of each hinge (one control member per hinge), the movement of which from the first to the second position releases the pivot axis relative to said at least one charnon.
- This configuration with two separate commands is also more discriminating than a configuration with a single command.
- Such an assembly can be mounted on a large number of possible arrangements or structures.
- the hinge system makes it possible to adapt to different opening dimensions and is easy to adjust.
- This system can in particular be adapted to arrangements/structures built with sheets, whether simple or shaped.
- this system can also be applied to wooden arrangements/structures. It has a relatively small number of constituent parts, which facilitates its implementation.
- the control bodies are, for example, quarter turns but can take other forms as mentioned below.
- the invention also relates to an entity (container) comprising at least one assembly as briefly explained above.
- entity is, for example, a box, a cabinet, a cabinet, an enclosure, etc. or, more generally, a container which is equipped with the assembly mentioned above and thus comprises at least one opening which is mounted articulated on a frame of the container via the hinge system briefly explained above. This allows you to open the container and thus access its contents or to close it in order to prevent access to its contents.
- an assembly comprises a frame D and an opening O and a hinge system (described later) mounted on the frame D and the opening O which here comprise walls, thus jointly forming an assembly functional.
- the opening O is articulated relative to the frame D via of the hinge system, thus making it possible to open and close the opening O in relation to the frame D, as illustrated by the closed position of the figure 1 and by the two different opening positions of the figure 2 And 3 .
- assembly 10 represents a box or box or cabinet whose body or part of the body forms the frame D and which is provided with a door or hatch (wall) which forms the opening O.
- the frame can be the part of the body (frame) which surrounds the opening and in relation to which the opening is mounted hinged.
- the hinge system is then mounted partly on this part of the body and partly on the opening.
- the invention can of course be applied to other box/housing configurations. It should be noted, however, that the assembly can adopt other configurations and, for example, be applied to a panel or a surface in relation to which an opening is hingedly mounted or be applied to equipment comprising a part forming an opening which is hinged, via a hinge system as described below, relative to another part of the equipment forming the frame.
- FIGS. 1 to 3 represent the set 10 seen from the outside (on the figure 1 only the external faces or facades are visible), while the figure 4 is a view of the interior of the assembly 10 with the opening O in the closed position (only the internal faces or facades of the assembly 10 are visible) and which shows the hinge system 20 mounted both on the opening and on the frame.
- the hinge system 20 comprises a corner hinge 30 mounted on the sash and the frame at the lower right corner of the figure and two lockable/unlockable hinges 40 and 50 each mounted on both the sash and the frame, at a distance from the corner hinge 30, and here respectively near the lower left corner and the upper right corner in this same figure.
- the lockable/unlockable hinges may be more or less distant from the corners.
- FIG 5 is a very schematic representation of part of the assembly 10 seen from the outside (analogous to the view of the figure 1 ) with the hinges 30, 40 and 50 in dotted lines and their arrangement at the edges of the opening and the frame.
- the corner hinge 30 comprises two angle axes a1 and a2 perpendicular to each other, configured to allow the pivoting of the opening O around each of the two axes in turn, as illustrated by the arrows on the figure 5 , when either of the lockable/unlockable hinges 40, 50 is unlocked.
- Axis a1 is parallel to the two facing edges O1, D1 and axis a2 is parallel to the two facing edges O2, D2.
- the gap between the facing edges is deliberately exaggerated for the purposes of the presentation.
- Each lockable/unlockable hinge 40, 50 is mounted on one of the two adjacent edges of the opening O and on one of the two adjacent edges of the frame D which is arranged in geometric correspondence with the adjacent edge of the opening when the opening is in the closed position relative to the frame ( Figs. 1 And 5 ).
- the edges of the opening and the frame on which the hinges 40 and 50 are mounted are the edges which meet respectively at the angle of the opening and the corresponding angle of the frame where the hinge is mounted. corner hinge 30.
- the hinge 40 is mounted on the edge O2 of the opening O and on the edge D2 of the frame D opposite and the hinge 50 is mounted on the edge O1 of the opening O and on the edge D1 of the sleeping D opposite.
- the central wing 32 has a general triangular shape in order to minimize the material although another shape not shown (eg rectangular) may be suitable.
- the wing 34 intended here to be mounted on the opening has a relatively simple shape, of a flat plate (without the knuckles), and the wing 36 intended here to be mounted on the frame has a wedge or square shape to be able to position itself on a support and fixing surface of an internal face of the frame as illustrated in the figure 4 .
- Fixing holes are provided in the thickness of the plate of each wing 34 and 36 intended to be fixed to accommodate fixing members such as screws.
- the three wings are thus mounted in an articulated manner relative to each other via their knuckles and the pins which are inserted therein to form the assembled corner hinge 30 of the Figure 6 which is mounted (and fixed) on the opening and the frame as illustrated on the figures 2 to 4 .
- Each lockable/unlockable hinge 40, 50 has an identical structure and only the hinge 40 which is more particularly illustrated in assembled mode in perspective on the figure 8 and in exploded mode on the Figure 9 will now be described.
- the hinge 40 comprises a pivot axis A and at least one knuckle C, (here only one knuckle is considered but several could alternatively be used) which is partially open along its circumference and completely open along its length.
- the pivot pin A is mounted in the hinge C in the assembled position of the hinge ( fig. 8 ) and this axis A is parallel to the angle axis a2 as well as to the two edges O2 and D2 in geometric correspondence with each other of the opening and the frame when the opening O is in the closed position relative to the frame D ( Figs. 4 And 5 ).
- the pivot axis A is secured to the opening or the frame, while the hinge C is secured to the frame or the opening although an inverse configuration can be envisaged.
- the pivot axis A is for example a spindle in this embodiment.
- the hinge 40 is formed ( fig. 9 ) a first part 42 intended to be mounted on the frame and a second part 44 intended to be mounted on the opening, the two parts being articulated relative to each other via the The pivot pin A mounted in the knuckle C.
- the knuckle C is integral with the second part 44, while the pivot axis A is mounted on the first part 42.
- the first part 42 of the hinge 40 comprises a plane wing 42a and two parallel arms 42b and 42c which are arranged spaced apart from each other on the same edge of the wing and which each extend perpendicularly to the wing from this edge.
- the two arms 42b and 42c each carry at their respective free ends a knuckle or rolled edge 42b1, 42c1 in such a way that the two knuckles 42b1, 42c1 are aligned axially with one another and can receive the pivot axis A , as shown in the figure 8 .
- the second part 44 of the hinge 40 comprises a flat wing 44a which is crossed in its thickness by a window 44a1, here of rectangular shape.
- the second part 44 also comprises two parallel extension elements 44b and 44c which are arranged spaced apart from each other on the same edge of the wing 44a and which each extend perpendicularly to the wing from this edge.
- Each extension element takes for example the form of a fixing bracket.
- the open knuckle C is also arranged on this same edge of the wing 44a, in the central part of the edge disposed between the two end parts to which the two extension elements or legs are respectively connected. The knuckle C extends away from the wing in a direction opposite to the direction of extension of the two extension elements or legs.
- the pivot axis A is dimensionally configured in relation to the knuckle C to be able to exit freely in a radial direction, under certain conditions which will be explained later. More particularly, as shown in the Figure 9 , the pivot axis has a flat m over part of its length which here represents a central portion of the axis.
- the pivot axis A is always positioned angularly relative to the circumferential opening of the knuckle C so as to be able to freely exit the housing formed by the knuckle in a radial direction, that is to say the flat is arranged in profile relative to the circumferential opening of the knuckle, thus offering opposite this opening a reduced diameter compared to the full diameter of the pivot axis.
- This reduced diameter has a dimension smaller than the passage dimension of the circumferential opening of the knuckle, which allows the pivot axis to pass through this opening when this movement is authorized, as will be seen later.
- the pivot axis A remains fixed during use of the assembly 10 according to the embodiment of the invention.
- the pivot axis In the assembled position of the figure 8 the pivot axis is mounted inside the two hinges 42b1 and 42c1 of part 42 secured to the frame, as well as in the central hinge C secured to the opening.
- the second part 44 is positioned in such a way that the plane wing 44a is placed in the space between the two arms 42b and 42c with the knuckle C oriented downwards parallel to the direction of extension of the plane wing 42a of the first part 42.
- the pivot axis A In the position of the figure 8 , the pivot axis A is positioned in the knuckle C so that its full diameter is oriented opposite the circumferential opening of the knuckle, thus allowing the axis to exit in the absence of another device such as the control member which will be described later.
- hinge 40 on the figure 8 is the one illustrated on the figure 4 when the first part 42 is mounted and fixed on the frame and the second part 44 is mounted and fixed on the opening, thanks to the fixing holes passing through the thickness of the plane wing 42a and the two fixing lugs 44b and 44c.
- an internal frame or chassis 60 which is set back from the wall of the frame D with respect to which the opening is hingedly mounted (the opening is arranged in a flush position relative to the wall of the frame in such a way that the external faces of these two elements visible on the figure 1 are in alignment with each other).
- the laterally or radially offset position of the wing 42a relative to the position of the tabs 44b and 44c allows both the mounting of the hinge 40 on the opening and on the frame or internal chassis 60 of the frame.
- the hinge 50 of identical construction to that of the hinge 40 which has just been described is mounted in an identical manner in the position illustrated on the figure 4 so that the three hinges 30, 40 and 50 are thus arranged in an L-shaped configuration.
- each lockable/unlockable hinge 40, 50 respectively comprises a control member 70, 80 (the two members have an identical structure and operation) which is movable between a first position in which the control member is able to lock the pivot axis A in its knuckle C (positions of the figures 1 , 4 And 8 even if the control unit is not shown on the figure 8 ), and a second position in which the control member is able to authorize the pivot axis A to come out of its knuckle C (positions of the figure 2 And 3 for each hinge in turn).
- Each control member is attached, like the pivot axis, to the opening or frame.
- the control members 70 and 80 are both secured to the frame like the pivot axis.
- the control member 70, 80 in the first position of the control member 70, 80 it cooperates mechanically with a part linked to the hinge (the part is carried by the second part 44 of the hinge) in order to ensure the retention of the hinge. part and therefore the locking of the pivot axis A in its hinge C, that is to say the locking (blocking) of the hinge 40, 50 relative to the frame.
- the second position of the control member it no longer cooperates mechanically with the part linked to the knuckle, thus authorizing the withdrawal of the pivot axis from its knuckle and therefore the unlocking of the pivot axis, i.e. unlocking the hinge.
- the sash can be opened by pivoting around the pivot axis A of the first hinge, this axis being aligned with one of the two axes angle a1 and a2 of the angle hinge 30.
- the hinge 40 is locked, then the hinge 50 is unlocked (its pivot axis is released relative to the hinge) and the sash pivots around the pivot axis A of the first hinge which extends the angle axis a2, as illustrated on the figure 2 .
- the control member 70 which is associated with the hinge 40, comprises a quarter turn 72 of known type which extends through the wall of the frame D (in the lower part of the wall) from the face external part of it which is illustrated on the figure 1 .
- Part 72a of the quarter turn which is visible on the figure 1 and accessible from the outside of the frame forms a maneuvering square which can be manipulated from the outside with a key to turn this square and thus cause the quarter turn to pivot.
- the quarter turn 72 extends axially away from the wall of the frame (inside the box shown in the figures) and comprises a cam 74 mounted, by a proximal end 74a, in a fixed manner at a free end 72b of the quarter turn which is opposite to the maneuvering square 72a.
- the cam 74 extends away from its end fixed with a quarter turn towards the part linked to the knuckle C and which is here represented by the wing 44a provided with its through slot 44a1 ( figure 8 ).
- the cam 74 thus has an opposite distal end 74b which cooperates (as shown in the Figure 10 ) with the wing 44a by engaging through the slot 44a1, thus preventing the second part 44 of the hinge 40 from moving away, in particular radially, from the pivot axis A (retaining function of the part), as indicated by the crossed out arrow on the Figure 10 .
- the cam 74 presents in a front view ( figure 4 ) a general L shape with its proximal end 74a pierced so that it can be mounted around the end 72b of the quarter turn ( Figure 10 ).
- the cam 74 is cambered (74b1, fig. 13A ) on a portion, namely at its distal end 74b intended to engage in the slot 44a1, instead of being rectilinear (the camber 74 b1 occurs in a plane perpendicular to the plane of the L), in order to adapt to the longitudinal dimension of the quarter turn.
- the quarter turn used is a conventional quarter turn and its length is such that a rectilinear cam positioned at the end 72 b of the quarter turn would not ensure the locking function of the cambered cam 74
- This conformation of the cam 74 proves simpler to achieve, taking into account the limited space requirement, than modifying the shape and dimensions of the wing 44a, in particular by extending the wing 44a and thus moving the slot away. 44a1.
- the camber of the cam is however not obligatory depending on the configurations encountered.
- the hinge C In this engagement position of the cam 74, the hinge C is not allowed to move away from the pivot axis A (hinge 40 locked) but the second part 44 of the hinge 40 is allowed to pivot around the pivot axis A, as illustrated by the arrow on the Figure 11 , and the panel forming the opening O can therefore pivot relative to the frame.
- FIG. 12 illustrates a position in which the hinge 40 is unlocked, that is to say that the knuckle C is free to move away, in particular radially, from the pivot axis A, the other hinge 50 is, for its part , in locked position.
- the cam 74 is thus pivotally mounted relative to the frame D to move from a position in which the cam locks the hinge 40 ( figures 10 And 11 ) to a position in which the cam no longer locks the hinge and thus releases it from any restraint.
- control member 80 which cooperates with the other hinge 50 is identical in its structure and its operation to the control member 70 and will therefore not be described further.
- control members than the quarter turns 72 can be used to actuate the unlocking of the hinges 40 and 50.
- the other types of control members must be able to be used from the outside. of the opening assembly - frame - hinge system.
- the hinge system of assembly 10 is arranged on the side of the internal faces of the opening and frame ( figure 4 ) and therefore hidden, seen from the outside, by the external faces of the opening and the frame.
- FIGS. 13B to 13F illustrate a variant embodiment of the previous mode in which only the modified elements are described.
- Only the lockable/unlockable hinges 40' and 50' are modified, in particular by arranging the control member 70', 80' of each hinge on the opening and not on the frame.
- This new arrangement makes it possible in particular to be able to manipulate the opening Ov (opening/closing) by pulling or pushing the key which acts as a handle and is used to rotate the quarter turn (or any imprint) of the arranged control member on the opening.
- the control member 70' comprises the quarter turn 72' which is mounted through on the wall of the opening Ov like the quarter turn 72 of the previous mode, that is to say with part of the quarter turn , not shown here, which is accessible from the outside of the opening and which forms for example a maneuvering square which can be manipulated from the outside with a key to rotate this square and thus cause the quarter turn to pivot.
- any imprint can be shaped on the quarter turn such as a triangle, a half-mast square, a double bar, etc. (this remark also applies to the previous description as well as the following description).
- the description of the control member 80' is identical to that of the control member 70' and will therefore not be repeated.
- the quarter turn 72 ⁇ has a free end 72b' on which is mounted a cam 74' whose mechanical cooperation with the part linked to the pivot axis (this part is secured to the frame) and whose the shape differs from those of the previous mode.
- the 74' cam illustrated on the Figure 13C comprises a mounting portion 74a' (for example in the form of a frame) which is pierced in its central part by a so-called mounting opening Om (here of rectangular shape) which encloses an axial portion of the quarter turn which is located between the 'free end 72b' and the opening Ov.
- the free end 72b' is more particularly a screw whose head can be seen and which passes through the opening Om to fix the cam on the quarter turn.
- the mounting opening Om has a dimension (here vertical) which is greater than the diameter of the portion axial of the quarter turn (and to the diameter of the screw), thus allowing the mounting portion 74a' of the cam to be positioned at different heights relative to the quarter turn.
- the vertical position here corresponds to the position of the cam 74' when the latter is in the locking position of the hinge 40'. The vertical adjustment of the position of the mounting opening relatively quarter turn thus makes it possible to vary the position of the cam vertically.
- the constituent parts of the hinge 40 ' differ slightly from the parts 42 and 44 of the hinge 40 which are represented in the figure 8 .
- the part 42' which is secured to the frame is modified so as to have a fold or edge P which extends over its entire length and which will serve as a support portion of the part for the portion of support 74 b' of cam 74'.
- Adjusting the vertical position of the cam relative to the quarter turn thus makes it possible to vary vertically the position of the support portion 74b', which makes it possible to adapt to dimensional variations of the parts during manufacturing.
- the support portion 74b' of the cam 74' has a cambered shape which extends from the mounting portion 74a' away from the quarter turn and the opening Ov. More particularly, the support portion 74b' extends inclined downwards in the position of the Figure 13B in order to come to rest on the fold P of the part 42'.
- part 44' is also modified compared to part 44 of the figure 8 to the extent that part 44' no longer has a through opening 44a1 and is shortened compared to part 44.
- the cam 74' is supported by its arched portion 74b' on the fold P (support portion) of the part linked to the pivot axis and secured to the frame.
- the fold P is arranged between the cam 74 and the opening Ov, thus preventing the removal of the pivot axis of the hinge secured to the opening (locking of the pivot axis in the hinge and therefore locking of the hinge 40 ').
- the cam 74' is longer than in the configuration of the previous mode.
- the cam 74' proves more robust in the event of significant effort exerted on the sash in an attempt to open it while the hinge is locked by the cam (the length of the bearing face 74b' of the cam 74 'exceeding strongly after the fold P of the part 42', the deformation of the cam necessary for the unwanted opening of the opening is therefore just as important (which was less the case in the previous configuration where the cam does not protruded only a short distance from the part.
- the cam is also easier to manufacture since it only involves bending a part of generally elongated shape along a transverse axis of curvature and the shapes and dimensions are less sensitive than in the previous mode.
- the manufacturing tolerances of the cam 74' can be less tight than for the cam 74.
- the pivoting movement of the cam to move from a position resting on the fold P to a position unobstructed (excluding support) is facilitated to the extent that the environment is not cluttered by other rooms or is not cramped.
- FIG. 13E illustrates another open position of the opening Ov relative to the frame Dv which is obtained by unlocking the other hinge (here upper) 50', in an identical manner to what was described for the hinge 40', and pivoting of opening it around a horizontal axis.
- FIG. 13F represents the assembly with the opening Ov in the closed position in relation to the frame Dv.
- the imprints (e.g. quarter turns) of the control elements 70' and 80' including the imprint 72' are visible and accessible from the external/front face of the assembly.
- FIG 14 illustrates another embodiment in which an assembly 100 according to the invention comprises an opening O', a frame D' and a hinge system mounted on the opening and the frame to allow the opening of the opening relative to the sleeping along two mutually perpendicular axes which are here the horizontal axis and the vertical axis.
- the assembly can form a front part of a housing whose rear part has not been shown for the sake of simplification.
- An optional support foot P has for example been shown under the assembly 100 in this exemplary embodiment.
- the hinge system which is visible from inside the assembly on the Figure 15 comprises, as for the embodiment of the figures 1 to 13B , a corner hinge 130 and two lockable/unlockable hinges 140 and 150 whose structure differs from that of the previous embodiment but whose function is identical.
- each of the hinges 140 and 150 which here takes the form of a lever 170 and 180 each formed from the pivot axis A of each lockable/unlockable hinge.
- the lever 170 and 180 is formed by bending one of the ends of this axis so that the thus curved end 172 and 182 passes through an opening 192, 194 made in the wall of the frame D' and thus opens onto the face before the whole ( Figure 14 ).
- the pivot axis A provided with the flat m represented on the figure 8 of the previous mode is capable of pivoting inside the knuckle C and therefore, depending on its angular position relative to the circumferential opening of the knuckle, the axis A can emerge from this housing when the flat m is oriented in profile relative to when opening (as on the Figure 10 of the previous mode), thus offering a reduced diameter compared to the full diameter of the axis, which allows the latter to pass through the circumferential opening of the knuckle.
- the pivot axis has an angular orientation such that its full diameter is oriented opposite the circumferential opening, then the axis cannot come out of this housing and the hinge remains locked.
- each lever is thus accessible from outside the assembly 100 and can therefore be operated by a user to, unlike the previous mode, pivot the pivot axis A relative to the knuckle C and thus place it in an angular position in which it can exit radially from the knuckle.
- the adapted angular orientation of the pivot axis A relative to the knuckle C' allows the latter to deviate freely from the axis (when the flat is positioned in profile by relative to the circumferential opening of the hinge) and thus authorize the unlocking or disengagement of the hinge 150 and therefore the opening of the opening O' relative to the frame by pivoting around the horizontal axis (corresponding to the axis at 2 on the figure 5 of the previous mode).
- the movement is identical when the hinge 150 remains locked and the hinge 140 is unlocked to allow the opening of the opening O' relative to the frame along the perpendicular axis, namely here the vertical axis (corresponding to the axis a1 on the figure 5 ).
- FIG. 17 illustrates a variant embodiment of all of the figures 14 to 16 .
- the 100' assembly operates identically to that of the figures 14 to 16 and a structure which differs in particular in that the hinge system is no longer invisible, seen from the outside, as in the previous figures.
- the corner hinge 130' and the two lockable/unlockable hinges 140' and 150', jointly forming the system of hinge of the assembly 100', are all mounted on the exterior face of the frame D' and the opening O' and are therefore visible and accessible from the outside.
- the curved end of the control member is positioned along the external face of the frame in the locking position of the hinges 140' and 150'.
- the curved end of the control member is always inclined relative to the wall of the frame to the extent that it must permanently pass through the corresponding opening in this wall.
- FIG. 18 illustrates another embodiment of a 100" assembly which, generally speaking, partly reproduces the visible assembly of the Figure 17 and partly the quarter-turn actuation of the figures 1 to 13B .
- the opening 0" is mounted articulated relative to the frame D" via a hinge system visible from the outside of the assembly 100" which includes the corner hinge 130" and the lockable hinges /unlockable 140" and 150" mounted on the external faces of the sash and frame.
- the opening O" is shown in the open position after unlocking the hinge 140".
- the 70", 80" control member associated with each lockable/unlockable hinge is arranged on the side of the internal faces of the opening and the frame and is therefore invisible from the outside, but can be operated from the outside of the hinge.
- the whole 100" as for the mode of figures 1 to 13B , thanks to a quarter turn from which we can see the maneuvering square on the Figure 18 .
- an opening can be opened in relation to a frame along two axes perpendicular to each other using a corner hinge making it possible to articulate the opening according to each of these two axes, in turn, and using two hinges lockable/unlockable, each spaced from the corner hinge along one of these two axes and whose unlocking in turn allows the opening to be articulated in relation to the other hinge to remain locked.
- the position of the corner hinges and lockable/unlockable hinges can vary on the sash and the frame.
- the corner hinge can be mounted in the upper right or left corner and the locking/unlocking hinges can be positioned further or further away from the two corners that are adjacent to the corners where the corner hinge is located .

Description
This presentation concerns an assembly comprising an opening, a frame and a hinge system mounted on the opening and the frame.
By “hinge” we mean any type of hinge.
Hinge systems are known, whether invisible or not, for hingedly mounting an opening relative to a frame with the aim of allowing the opening and closing of the opening relative to the frame.
- an opening O comprising two adjacent edges perpendicular to each other which meet to form an angle of the opening,
- a frame D comprising two adjacent edges perpendicular to each other which meet to form an angle of the frame,
- a hinge system mounted on the opening and the frame and comprising:
- a) a corner hinge mounted at the corners of the frame and the sash which are in geometric correspondence with each other when the sash is in the closed position relative to the frame, the corner hinge comprising two angle axes perpendicular to each other, configured to allow the opening to pivot around each of the two axes in turn,
- b) two lockable/unlockable hinges each mounted on one of the two adjacent edges of the opening and on one of the two adjacent edges of the frame which is arranged in geometric correspondence with the adjacent edge of the opening when the opening is in the closed position relative to the frame, each lockable/unlockable hinge comprising a pivot axis and at least one knuckle which is partially open along its circumference and completely open along its length, the hinge axis pivoting being mounted in said at least one knuckle and parallel to the two edges in geometric correspondence with each other of the opening and the frame when the opening is in the closed position relative to the frame, the pivot axis being secured to the opening or to the frame while said at least one hinge is secured to the frame or to the opening, each lockable/unlockable hinge comprising a hinge control member, which is movable between a first position in which the member control member is capable of locking the pivot axis in said at least one knuckle, and a second position in which the control member is capable of allowing the pivot axis to exit said at least one knuckle.
The configuration of the assembly above allows, thanks to the corner hinge, to articulate the opening in relation to the frame according to one or the other of two perpendicular axes, when one of the two lockable hinges / unlockables is in the locked position and the other hinge is in the unlocked position. The hinges are unlocked via the control member of each hinge (one control member per hinge), the movement of which from the first to the second position releases the pivot axis relative to said at least one charnon. We therefore have two separate controls, which is simpler and therefore more reliable than having a single control for the two lockable/unlockable hinges. This configuration with two separate commands is also more discriminating than a configuration with a single command. Such an assembly can be mounted on a large number of possible arrangements or structures. The hinge system makes it possible to adapt to different opening dimensions and is easy to adjust. This system can in particular be adapted to arrangements/structures built with sheets, whether simple or shaped. For example, this system can also be applied to wooden arrangements/structures. It has a relatively small number of constituent parts, which facilitates its implementation. The control bodies are, for example, quarter turns but can take other forms as mentioned below.

Generally speaking, in the first position of the

Only the lockable/unlockable hinges 40' and 50' are modified, in particular by arranging the control member 70', 80' of each hinge on the opening and not on the frame. This new arrangement makes it possible in particular to be able to manipulate the opening Ov (opening/closing) by pulling or pushing the key which acts as a handle and is used to rotate the quarter turn (or any imprint) of the arranged control member on the opening.
The control member 70' comprises the quarter turn 72' which is mounted through on the wall of the opening Ov like the quarter turn 72 of the previous mode, that is to say with part of the quarter turn , not shown here, which is accessible from the outside of the opening and which forms for example a maneuvering square which can be manipulated from the outside with a key to rotate this square and thus cause the quarter turn to pivot. Note that in place of the maneuvering square any imprint can be shaped on the quarter turn such as a triangle, a half-mast square, a double bar, etc. (this remark also applies to the previous description as well as the following description). The description of the control member 80' is identical to that of the control member 70' and will therefore not be repeated.
As for the previous mode, the

The

For the rest, the structure and operation of this assembly are identical to what was described previously.
It thus emerges from the preceding description that an opening can be opened in relation to a frame along two axes perpendicular to each other using a corner hinge making it possible to articulate the opening according to each of these two axes, in turn, and using two hinges lockable/unlockable, each spaced from the corner hinge along one of these two axes and whose unlocking in turn allows the opening to be articulated in relation to the other hinge to remain locked.
Note that, in general, the position of the corner hinges and lockable/unlockable hinges can vary on the sash and the frame. As an example, the corner hinge can be mounted in the upper right or left corner and the locking/unlocking hinges can be positioned further or further away from the two corners that are adjacent to the corners where the corner hinge is located .
Although the present invention has been described with reference to specific embodiments, it is apparent that modifications and changes can be made to these examples without departing from the general scope of the invention as defined by the claims. In particular, individual features of the different illustrated/mentioned embodiments can be combined in additional embodiments. Therefore, the description and drawings should be considered in an illustrative rather than a restrictive sense.
It is also obvious that all the characteristics described with reference to a device or a system can be transposed, alone or in combination, to an opening/closing method of the device/system, and vice versa.
