  • the charging device 12 can also be reserved in advance for the specific motor vehicle 10 . In this case, the charging device 12 can already independently and automatically detect when the motor vehicle 10 is approaching whether there is a reservation for the motor vehicle 10 arriving. Once a reservation has been made, access to the charging device 12 for the motor vehicle 10 can then be released. Motor vehicles 10 without this reservation are given this access based on availability and can be diverted to a parking lot if the charging facility 12 is not available.
  • a dynamic reservation can be implemented in such a way that a delay in a journey of the motor vehicle 10 to the charging device 12 or an earlier arrival of the motor vehicle 10 at the charging device 12 than when originally determined the travel route for the motor vehicle 10 has been determined can be applied automatically to the reservation of the motor vehicle 10 for the charging device 12 .
