- a joint can be provided so as to vary the angle between the arrow 18a and the base 10. Such a joint can for example allow rotation in an angular range between 90° and 140° with respect to the base 10 and be accompanied by a clamping means for fixing an angular position. Alternatively, the joint comprises several predetermined angular positions. Alternatively or additionally, the length of the arrow 18a can be modulated or adjusted.
- the jib 18a may consist of two or more telescopic portions, matched with clamping means or predetermined fixed positions.

- the means for adjusting the angular position and the length of the boom 18a can replace or supplement the adjustment of the longitudinal position of the second laying element 18 relative to the base 10, for example by means of the tubular structure 13.
