Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a device for supporting the closing and opening of a lift and slide element.
  • the device particularly supports the closing of the lift and slide element to the effect that the lift and slide element or its sliding sash can be moved as gently as possible into its closed position.
  • the device also supports the opening of the lift and slide element in that it can be moved from the closed position in the direction of its open position with as little effort as possible.
  • lift-and-slide elements such as lift-and-slide doors, for example, can have a significant weight of up to 400 kg or more. This can have the consequence that a correspondingly large amount of force is required to set the sliding sash of such a lift-and-slide door in motion, as is the case, for example, when opening the lift-and-slide door from its closed position.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of specifying a device with which a lift and slide element can be opened with only a small amount of force and which at the same time enables the lift and slide element to be closed gently.
  • This object is achieved with a device having the features of claim 1 to assist in the closing and opening of a lift-and-slide element such as a lift-and-slide door or a lift-and-slide window, for example.
  • a lift-and-slide element such as a lift-and-slide door or a lift-and-slide window, for example.
  • the device according to the invention for supporting the closing and opening of a lift and slide element comprises a base body which is designed to be attached to a sash frame of a lift and slide element. Two axially extending prestressing elements are articulated on the base body, so that they do not have to be mounted individually on the sash of the lift-slide element.
  • the device has an axially stretching first biasing element, such as a first gas pressure spring, which has a first end and a second end that is hinged to the base body.
  • the device has an axially stretching second biasing element, such as a second gas pressure spring, which has a first end and a second end which is hinged to the base body.
  • the device can thus be handled in its entirety and mounted on a lift and slide element or its sliding sash, so that the two prestressing elements are not handled individually for this purpose and must be mounted on the lift-slide element.
  • the device has a switchover mechanism which can be switched between a first limit switch position and a second limit switch position. If, for example, the switching mechanism is transferred from its first end switch position to its second end switch position, the switch mechanism cannot move beyond the second end switch position. The same applies to a switchover process of the switchover mechanism starting from its second limit switch position in the direction of its first limit switch position, in which the switchover mechanism cannot be moved beyond its first limit switch position.
  • the switching mechanism serves as a coupling element between the two prestressing elements, since the first end of the first prestressing element is coupled to the first end of the second prestressing element via the switching mechanism under a prestressing of the first and / or the second prestressing element. Regardless of the position or deflection of the two pre-tensioning elements, these therefore always interact with one another, since one pre-tensioning element applies a pre-tensioning force to the other pre-tensioning element via the switching mechanism and vice versa.
  • the switching mechanism is designed in such a way that it has only one unstable equilibrium position between its two limit switch positions.
  • the two prestressing elements are therefore only aligned with one another in the unstable equilibrium position in question and are thus axially aligned with one another.
  • the two biasing elements are not axially aligned with each other, with the result that only that force component of one biasing element, which acts in the direction of the axial extension of the other biasing element, interacts with it . So, for example, is the second biasing element compared to the first biasing element deflected, only that force component is transmitted from the second prestressing element to the first prestressing element, which is aligned with it.
  • the biasing force exerted by the first biasing element is always greater than the force component of the second biasing element, which is directed in the direction of the first biasing element acts.
  • This can be used to the effect that when the device is mounted on a lift and slide element, the first biasing element in the first limit switch position of the switching mechanism pushes the lift and slide element against the biasing force of the second biasing element towards its closed position when the first The end of the first Vorspannele element is supported on a fixed or stationary abutment.
  • the second biasing element in the second end switch position of the switching mechanism can push the lift-slide element against the biasing force of the first biasing element in the direction of its open position when the first end of the second biasing element is supported on a stationary or stationary abutment.
  • the device can also be used to ensure that the lift-slide element gently assumes its open position without hitting the frame.
  • the second biasing element urges the lifting and sliding element in the second end position of the switching mechanism against the biasing force of the first biasing element in the direction of its open position when the first end of the second biasing element is supported on a fixed or stationary abutment.
  • the first biasing element in the first limit switch position of the switching mechanism, can counter the biasing force with the lift-slide element urge the second biasing element in the direction of its closed position when the first end of the first biasing element is supported on a fixed or stationary abutment.
  • the function of the switchover mechanism is essentially to deflect one prestressing element relative to the other prestressing element. If, for example, the second prestressing element is deflected relative to the first prestressing element during the closing process of the lift-slide element, the first prestressing element urges the sliding wing of the lift-slide element into its closed position, preferably until the prestressing force exerted by the first prestressing element is included the force component of the second biasing element is in equilibrium, which is aligned with the first biasing element. As a result, the lift and slide element can be closed gently by means of the first prestressing element without the risk of the sliding sash of the lift and slide element hitting the frame.
  • the device according to the invention would not support subsequent opening of the lift and slide element, since in this case the sliding sash would always be pushed towards its closed position by the first biasing element.
  • the switching mechanism is transferred in the manner according to the invention in the closed position of the lift-slide element in its second end switch position, then the first prestressing element is deflected relative to the second prestressing element with the result that now the force component exerted by the first prestressing element, which acts in the direction of the second preload element is less than its preload force.
  • the second pre-tensioning element is now able to move the sash of the lift-slide element to open against the biasing action of the first biasing element or to urge it in the direction of its open position.
  • a lift-slide element can be closed gently by means of the device according to the invention as well as opened without any significant expenditure of force.
  • the stationary abutment on which either the first or the second biasing element is supported depending on the direction of movement of the lift and slide element, does not collide with the first biasing element when the lift and slide element is opened, it can be provided according to one embodiment that the abutment is designed to be axially flexible perpendicular to the axial extent of the two prestressing elements. The abutment can thus, for example, be pushed back by the first prestressing element if it comes into contact with this during the opening process of the lift-slide element.
