Definitions
- the invention relates to an escape sign luminaire for displaying the direction of an escape route and for illuminating an escape route.
- escape sign luminaires There are various types of escape sign luminaires, with modern and aesthetically pleasing escape sign luminaires usually having an external light-guiding element, with at least one escape sign with an escape route direction indicated thereon usually being attached to the flat sides of the light-guiding element.
- escape sign luminaires of this type light is usually coupled in from a narrow side of the light-guiding element, with this light then preferably being emitted mainly via the flat sides, so that the escape sign, together with the escape route direction shown, can be seen easily and well.
- escape sign lights with a light guide are, for example, from EP 2 648 178 B1 known.
- escape sign luminaires are known from the prior art, which tend to have a box-shaped design.
- An example of such an escape sign luminaire is in figure 1 shown and provided with the reference number 1010 .
- Such escape sign luminaires 1010 have at least one outer surface with a translucent light emission surface 1130, with this at least one light emission surface 1130 having an escape sign symbol 1120.
- the light emission surfaces 1130 of such escape sign luminaires 1010 are held clamped on their narrow sides by housing components of the escape sign luminaire 1010 .
- illuminants are arranged inside the escape sign luminaire 1010, which emit light in the direction of the light-emitting surface 1130, so that the escape sign symbol 1120 appears illuminated and is therefore easily recognizable.
- Previous escape sign luminaires without a central light guide for example those in the figure 1
- the escape sign luminaire 1010 shown can also be equipped with so-called ERI spots (Escape Route Illumination Spots) 1200 or escape route lighting elements 1200, which are arranged on the underside of the escape sign luminaire 1010 and are used to illuminate the escape route in the vicinity of the escape sign luminaires 1010 .
- ERI spots Escape Route Illumination Spots
- escape route lighting elements 1200 which are arranged on the underside of the escape sign luminaire 1010 and are used to illuminate the escape route in the vicinity of the escape sign luminaires 1010 .
- Such an escape sign luminaire is in the DE 10 2011 082 844 A1 specified.
- the escape route lighting elements usually only illuminate the corresponding escape routes in an emergency situation, for example during a fire, while the escape sign symbol of the escape sign light is illuminated continuously, ie even in situations in which no evacuation is required.
- Two ERI spots 1200 are usually used in such known escape sign luminaires 1010, with the ERI spots 1200 having adjustable lenses, so that the direction in which the light is emitted by the ERI spots 1200 can be adjusted.
- light can be emitted in up to two different directions for escape route lighting.
- escape route lighting both the path pointing towards the escape sign light and the path pointing away from the escape sign light, ie the path pointing along the direction of the escape route, are usually illuminated.
- the setting of the direction of the light emission of the ERI spots 1200 can be achieved by manually aligning the lenses, with the escape route to be illuminated, i.e. the direction of the light emission of the lenses, usually being set once when the escape sign luminaire 1010 is installed, and only then adjusted manually when structural changes to the building require a new escape route, for which purpose the lenses of the ERI-Spots 1200 are individually aligned, and all escape sign luminaires present in a building must also be manually adjusted.
- escape sign luminaires which have a box-like structure, with the light-emitting surface provided with an escape sign being kept essentially framed by the housing of the escape sign luminaire.
- the additional components for the escape route lighting elements can be easily accommodated by this box-shaped structure of such escape route lighting elements, with these escape route lighting elements being positionable on the underside of the escape route lighting system, i.e. below the escape sign, in order to create escape route lighting in a simple manner.
- escape sign luminaires are wide and bulky due to their box-like construction, and have a structurally complicated construction.
- Escape sign luminaires with an external light guide on which the escape sign is shown have not been equipped with escape route lighting elements of this type to date. Furthermore, in the case of the known escape sign luminaires - if there are any means at all for illuminating escape routes - dynamic adjustment, in particular by means of digital control, of the illuminated escape route is not provided, so that during operation and in particular during an emergency it is not possible to change the illuminated escape route quickly and easily is possible. If, for example, there is a danger on an escape route, for example in the form of a burning stairwell, in the escape sign luminaires with escape route lighting previously used, the lights in the escape sign luminaire existing ERI spots continue the unchanged escape route, which leads to this danger point. Thus, in such situations, with known escape sign luminaires, an unfavorable escape route is illuminated while safe alternative escape routes are not illuminated.
- the invention is based on the object of specifying an escape sign luminaire with a light guide element and at least one escape route lighting element.
- an escape sign luminaire which has an illuminant element—preferably consisting of at least one illuminant, in particular an LED, and a circuit board—and a support element for holding the illuminant element, as well as a light-guiding element.
- the light-guiding element is connected to the carrier element, with the light-guiding element having a light-coupling region formed on a narrow side of the light-guiding element, and with the illuminant element being arranged on the light-coupling region of the light-guiding element.
- the light-guiding element is designed to emit the light emitted by the lighting element and radiated in via the light coupling region via at least one flat side arranged essentially perpendicular to the narrow side of the light-guiding element, and with an escape route symbol being attached to the flat side.
- the escape sign luminaire has at least one escape route lighting element for escape route lighting, which is connected to the carrier element and is designed for asymmetrical light emission, such that the light emitted by the escape route lighting element is radiated away from the light guide element.
- the escape sign luminaire created in this way enables the use of escape route lighting elements or ERI spots on an escape sign luminaire with a light guide or with a light guide element.
- the escape sign luminaire created in this way is therefore particularly slim and aesthetic, with the functionality of this escape sign luminaire also being expanded through the use of escape route lighting elements.
- the design for asymmetrical light emission of the escape route lighting elements also prevents the light emitted by the escape route lighting elements from being reflected on a surface of the light-guiding element, so that the escape route symbol attached to the surface or the flat side of the light-guiding element can always be read.
- the escape sign luminaire has a plurality of escape route lighting elements—particularly preferably two, three or four escape route lighting elements—whereby the plurality of escape route lighting elements are designed to emit light in different directions.
- Such an embodiment with several escape route lighting elements allows several escape routes or escape route directions to be illuminated simultaneously, with each route to be illuminated preferably being assigned one of the escape route lighting elements for the best possible illumination.
- the escape route lighting elements used to illuminate the escape route can be selected by a user.
- the escape sign luminaire can be used flexibly, versatilely and sustainably. It is thus possible for the user to select the routes to be illuminated and not to illuminate routes which do not correspond to the escape route.
- An escape sign luminaire of this type is therefore particularly flexible and simple with regard to the user's individual wishes and changes to the escape route.
- an escape sign luminaire can also be used in the long term in buildings or rooms that have changed, since changed escape routes can continue to be illuminated by appropriately adjusting the escape route lighting.
- the carrier element has a side surface on its underside, with the light-guiding element being in contact with the side surface in the region of the narrow side forming the light coupling region, and with the light-guiding element preferably being arranged centrally on the side surface, with a cross-section through the light-guiding element and the side surface is T-shaped.
- the escape route lighting elements can be integrated particularly elegantly, compactly and functionally into the integrate modern and slim design of escape sign luminaires with a light guide element.
- this enables the escape route lighting elements to emit light in all directions around the light-guiding element, with the light emitted by the escape route lighting elements not radiating onto the light-guiding element, so that unwanted reflections, which lead to glare and/or a deterioration in the legibility of the escape route symbol, are avoided.
- the stability is increased by the cross-sectional T-shaped structure of the escape sign luminaire, with the top surface of the T-profile being able to be mounted flush on a ceiling, which is particularly aesthetic and space-saving, with the escape route symbol also being placed in a clearly visible position.
- the existing escape route lighting elements are arranged laterally on the carrier element, ie in particular perpendicular to the side surface, it being possible for the existing escape route lighting elements to be arranged in particular on different surfaces.
- the escape sign luminaire is designed in such a way that the existing escape route lighting elements are arranged on the side surface of the carrier element.
- the escape route lighting elements can be designed in a particularly simple and functional manner, with the light emission for escape route lighting from the escape route lighting elements being directed towards the ground. Furthermore, such a design minimizes the contamination of the escape route lighting elements, in particular by dust, since the carrier element is arranged protectively over the escape route lighting elements.
- such an escape sign luminaire can be designed to be particularly compact and elegant, with the surfaces laterally delimiting the carrier element preferably being of smooth design.
- the existing escape route lighting elements preferably each have an optical system for asymmetrical light emission, with each optical system preferably being assigned a further light source.
- An escape sign luminaire is thus created which, in addition to the illuminants present for illuminating the light-guiding element or the escape route symbol, only requires an additional light source for each escape route lighting element, it being possible in particular preferably for this additional light source to be an LED.
- this additional light source to be an LED.
- the light is emitted pointing away from the light guide element, so that reflections on the light guide element are avoided, which increases the readability of the escape route symbol and also prevents people from being dazzled.
- these additional light sources are each coupled to the circuit board.
- a particularly space-saving arrangement for holding the illuminants and other light sources can thus be implemented, the manufacture of which being particularly simple and inexpensive.
- Such a design also allows uncomplicated maintenance of the escape sign luminaire that can be carried out quickly.
- the support element has a cover, the cover comprising at least the side surface, and the light guide element preferably being an integral part of the cover, and/or the existing escape route lighting elements preferably being at least partially an integral part of the cover.
- the optics of the existing escape route lighting elements are particularly preferably integrated in the cover.
- the carrier element is particularly protected against dirt, for example in the form of dust or soot deposits, and moisture, for example in the form of atmospheric moisture or spray water from sprinkler systems.
- dirt for example in the form of dust or soot deposits
- moisture for example in the form of atmospheric moisture or spray water from sprinkler systems.
- the production and in particular the assembly of the escape sign luminaire formed in this way is simplified considerably, with a cover which has the side surfaces, the light guide element and/or the escape route lighting elements as integral components, in particular protecting the escape sign luminaire against external influences and also the manufacture, assembly and the maintenance of the escape sign luminaire is simplified.
- an arrangement of the escape route lighting elements that is matched as precisely as possible to the position of the other light sources can also be implemented, so that unwanted reflections, i.e. light losses, can be avoided and the escape route lighting is designed more efficiently.
- the integral design of the cover can be produced, for example, by a casting process, in particular an injection molding process, with multi-component injection molding processes also being conceivable. Furthermore, manufacturing methods other than casting methods are of course also conceivable.
- the existing escape route lighting elements are preferably arranged on the side surface surrounding the light-guiding element, with at least one of the existing escape route lighting elements preferably being arranged in front of the at least one flat side of the light-guiding element.
- all escape route lighting elements are arranged in front of the at least one flat side, with the escape route lighting elements also preferably being arranged symmetrically with respect to the light-guiding element as the axis of symmetry.
- an arrangement of two escape route lighting elements in front of each of the two flat sides of the light-guiding element is suitable.
- the escape sign luminaire is particularly compact, narrow and aesthetically designed due to the symmetry, light emission for escape route illumination in four different directions being able to be implemented at the same time.
- the escape route lighting elements can also be arranged elsewhere around the light-guiding element, with at least one escape route lighting element being able to be arranged on the side surface in particular in front of each surface of the light-guiding element arranged essentially perpendicularly to the side surface.
- the existing escape route lighting elements can also be arranged symmetrically to the light guide element.
- one escape route lighting element is arranged in front of the two flat sides and in front of the two end faces of the light-guiding element that are arranged essentially perpendicular to the side surface and connect the two flat sides.
- the escape route symbol preferably indicates an escape route direction, with the escape route direction displayed being dynamically changeable.
- the escape sign luminaire also preferably has a control unit for controlling the dynamic change.
- the escape sign light can be dynamically adapted to the situation at hand, it being possible in particular to react quickly and dynamically to changes in the recommended escape route or escape route while the escape sign light is in operation.
- the escape route direction displayed on the corresponding escape sign lights can thus be adapted in a simple and flexible manner, it being possible in particular to react to dangers such as smoke, fire, blocked doors or the like.

- escape sign luminaire 10 provision is preferably made for only some of the existing escape route lighting elements 200 to be activated for escape route lighting during operation of the escape route lighting. This has the advantage that only the routes relevant to the actual escape route are illuminated by the escape route lighting elements 200, so that people fleeing or to be evacuated can be guided more quickly, efficiently and safely along the escape route, with misleading lighting being avoided.
- the escape route lighting elements 200 used to illuminate the escape route can be selected by a user.
- the escape sign luminaire 10 can be flexibly adapted by a user to the respective general conditions of the place of use, with the escape route lighting in particular being individually adaptable by the escape route lighting elements 200 of the escape sign luminaire 10 to the respective escape route provided for the place of use.
- the escape sign luminaire 10 designed in this way is therefore sustainable because it can respond to changes in the environment and can continue to be used, for example, when a building or a floor is restructured, since the active light emission directions R1, R2, R3, R4 of the escape route lighting elements 200 are replaced by corresponding Selection of the escape route lighting elements 200 used for escape route lighting are customizable.
- such an adaptation of the selection of the escape route lighting elements 200 used to illuminate the escape route can be effected by a control command which was sent to the escape sign luminaire 10 or the control unit 600 .
- the control signal is transmitted wired or also wirelessly to the escape sign luminaire 10 or to the control unit 600, this being in particular via DALI or power line communication, or NFC, Bluetooth or WLAN can take place.
- embodiments of the escape sign luminaire 10 without a control unit 600 are also conceivable.
- the escape route lighting elements 200 used for escape route lighting can be selected by actuating or setting a switch which is coupled to the escape sign luminaire 10 .
- the further light sources 303 of the escape sign luminaire 10 can be connected to the circuit board 302 in a modular manner, with only the escape route lighting elements 200 used for lighting the escape route being electrically coupled to the circuit board 302 .
- control of the escape sign light 10 can also be implemented by digital control via a converter, with computer-based or program-based control of the escape sign light 10 also being advantageous.

Description
The invention relates to an escape sign luminaire for displaying the direction of an escape route and for illuminating an escape route.
Two
The setting of the direction of the light emission of the
However, the possibility of illuminating the escape route has hitherto only existed in the case of escape sign luminaires which have a box-like structure, with the light-emitting surface provided with an escape sign being kept essentially framed by the housing of the escape sign luminaire. The additional components for the escape route lighting elements can be easily accommodated by this box-shaped structure of such escape route lighting elements, with these escape route lighting elements being positionable on the underside of the escape route lighting system, i.e. below the escape sign, in order to create escape route lighting in a simple manner. Such escape sign luminaires, however, are wide and bulky due to their box-like construction, and have a structurally complicated construction.
Escape sign luminaires with an external light guide on which the escape sign is shown have not been equipped with escape route lighting elements of this type to date.
The invention is based on the object of specifying an escape sign luminaire with a light guide element and at least one escape route lighting element.
This object is solved by an escape sign luminaire according to
According to the invention, an escape sign luminaire is provided which has an illuminant element—preferably consisting of at least one illuminant, in particular an LED, and a circuit board—and a support element for holding the illuminant element, as well as a light-guiding element. The light-guiding element is connected to the carrier element, with the light-guiding element having a light-coupling region formed on a narrow side of the light-guiding element, and with the illuminant element being arranged on the light-coupling region of the light-guiding element. According to the invention, the light-guiding element is designed to emit the light emitted by the lighting element and radiated in via the light coupling region via at least one flat side arranged essentially perpendicular to the narrow side of the light-guiding element, and with an escape route symbol being attached to the flat side. Furthermore, according to the invention, the escape sign luminaire has at least one escape route lighting element for escape route lighting, which is connected to the carrier element and is designed for asymmetrical light emission, such that the light emitted by the escape route lighting element is radiated away from the light guide element.
The escape sign luminaire created in this way enables the use of escape route lighting elements or ERI spots on an escape sign luminaire with a light guide or with a light guide element. The escape sign luminaire created in this way is therefore particularly slim and aesthetic, with the functionality of this escape sign luminaire also being expanded through the use of escape route lighting elements. The design for asymmetrical light emission of the escape route lighting elements also prevents the light emitted by the escape route lighting elements from being reflected on a surface of the light-guiding element, so that the escape route symbol attached to the surface or the flat side of the light-guiding element can always be read.
According to a preferred embodiment, the escape sign luminaire has a plurality of escape route lighting elements—particularly preferably two, three or four escape route lighting elements—whereby the plurality of escape route lighting elements are designed to emit light in different directions.
Such an embodiment with several escape route lighting elements allows several escape routes or escape route directions to be illuminated simultaneously, with each route to be illuminated preferably being assigned one of the escape route lighting elements for the best possible illumination.
In a further embodiment, it can be provided that during operation of the escape route lighting, only some of the existing escape route lighting elements are activated to illuminate the escape route.
What is achieved here is that only those escape route lighting elements that are provided for this purpose illuminate a path to the escape route lighting.
In a particularly preferred embodiment, it is provided that the escape route lighting elements used to illuminate the escape route, and thus the directions to be illuminated, can be selected by a user.
With such a design, the escape sign luminaire can be used flexibly, versatilely and sustainably. It is thus possible for the user to select the routes to be illuminated and not to illuminate routes which do not correspond to the escape route. An escape sign luminaire of this type is therefore particularly flexible and simple with regard to the user's individual wishes and changes to the escape route. Furthermore, with such a design, an escape sign luminaire can also be used in the long term in buildings or rooms that have changed, since changed escape routes can continue to be illuminated by appropriately adjusting the escape route lighting.
Furthermore, it can advantageously be provided that the carrier element has a side surface on its underside, with the light-guiding element being in contact with the side surface in the region of the narrow side forming the light coupling region, and with the light-guiding element preferably being arranged centrally on the side surface, with a cross-section through the light-guiding element and the side surface is T-shaped.
With an escape sign luminaire designed in this way, the escape route lighting elements can be integrated particularly elegantly, compactly and functionally into the integrate modern and slim design of escape sign luminaires with a light guide element. In addition, this enables the escape route lighting elements to emit light in all directions around the light-guiding element, with the light emitted by the escape route lighting elements not radiating onto the light-guiding element, so that unwanted reflections, which lead to glare and/or a deterioration in the legibility of the escape route symbol, are avoided. Furthermore, the stability is increased by the cross-sectional T-shaped structure of the escape sign luminaire, with the top surface of the T-profile being able to be mounted flush on a ceiling, which is particularly aesthetic and space-saving, with the escape route symbol also being placed in a clearly visible position.
According to a special embodiment, it can be provided that the existing escape route lighting elements are arranged laterally on the carrier element, ie in particular perpendicular to the side surface, it being possible for the existing escape route lighting elements to be arranged in particular on different surfaces.
In a preferred embodiment, the escape sign luminaire is designed in such a way that the existing escape route lighting elements are arranged on the side surface of the carrier element.
With the arrangement of the escape route lighting elements on the side surface, ie on the underside of the carrier element, the escape route lighting elements can be designed in a particularly simple and functional manner, with the light emission for escape route lighting from the escape route lighting elements being directed towards the ground. Furthermore, such a design minimizes the contamination of the escape route lighting elements, in particular by dust, since the carrier element is arranged protectively over the escape route lighting elements. In addition, such an escape sign luminaire can be designed to be particularly compact and elegant, with the surfaces laterally delimiting the carrier element preferably being of smooth design.
The existing escape route lighting elements preferably each have an optical system for asymmetrical light emission, with each optical system preferably being assigned a further light source.
An escape sign luminaire is thus created which, in addition to the illuminants present for illuminating the light-guiding element or the escape route symbol, only requires an additional light source for each escape route lighting element, it being possible in particular preferably for this additional light source to be an LED. through the Design of the optics of the existing escape route lighting elements, the light is emitted pointing away from the light guide element, so that reflections on the light guide element are avoided, which increases the readability of the escape route symbol and also prevents people from being dazzled.
In an additional development, these additional light sources, designed as LEDs, are each coupled to the circuit board. A particularly space-saving arrangement for holding the illuminants and other light sources can thus be implemented, the manufacture of which being particularly simple and inexpensive. Such a design also allows uncomplicated maintenance of the escape sign luminaire that can be carried out quickly. However, provision can also be made for these additional light sources to be arranged separately from the circuit board inside the escape sign luminaire.
According to a further preferred development, the support element has a cover, the cover comprising at least the side surface, and the light guide element preferably being an integral part of the cover, and/or the existing escape route lighting elements preferably being at least partially an integral part of the cover. The optics of the existing escape route lighting elements are particularly preferably integrated in the cover.
With such a cover, the carrier element is particularly protected against dirt, for example in the form of dust or soot deposits, and moisture, for example in the form of atmospheric moisture or spray water from sprinkler systems. The more components that are an integral part of the cover, the better the support element and the components arranged therein and the escape sign luminaire as a whole are protected from external influences. In addition, the production and in particular the assembly of the escape sign luminaire formed in this way is simplified considerably, with a cover which has the side surfaces, the light guide element and/or the escape route lighting elements as integral components, in particular protecting the escape sign luminaire against external influences and also the manufacture, assembly and the maintenance of the escape sign luminaire is simplified. By means of an integral construction of the escape route lighting elements, an arrangement of the escape route lighting elements that is matched as precisely as possible to the position of the other light sources can also be implemented, so that unwanted reflections, i.e. light losses, can be avoided and the escape route lighting is designed more efficiently. The integral design of the cover can be produced, for example, by a casting process, in particular an injection molding process, with multi-component injection molding processes also being conceivable. Furthermore, manufacturing methods other than casting methods are of course also conceivable.
The existing escape route lighting elements are preferably arranged on the side surface surrounding the light-guiding element, with at least one of the existing escape route lighting elements preferably being arranged in front of the at least one flat side of the light-guiding element. In particular, it can be provided that all escape route lighting elements are arranged in front of the at least one flat side, with the escape route lighting elements also preferably being arranged symmetrically with respect to the light-guiding element as the axis of symmetry. For example, in an embodiment with four escape route lighting elements, an arrangement of two escape route lighting elements in front of each of the two flat sides of the light-guiding element is suitable. In such a configuration, the escape sign luminaire is particularly compact, narrow and aesthetically designed due to the symmetry, light emission for escape route illumination in four different directions being able to be implemented at the same time.
According to another embodiment, however, the escape route lighting elements can also be arranged elsewhere around the light-guiding element, with at least one escape route lighting element being able to be arranged on the side surface in particular in front of each surface of the light-guiding element arranged essentially perpendicularly to the side surface. The existing escape route lighting elements can also be arranged symmetrically to the light guide element. In particular, in the example of four escape route lighting elements it can be provided that one escape route lighting element is arranged in front of the two flat sides and in front of the two end faces of the light-guiding element that are arranged essentially perpendicular to the side surface and connect the two flat sides.
The escape route symbol preferably indicates an escape route direction, with the escape route direction displayed being dynamically changeable. The escape sign luminaire also preferably has a control unit for controlling the dynamic change.
With such a configuration, the escape sign light can be dynamically adapted to the situation at hand, it being possible in particular to react quickly and dynamically to changes in the recommended escape route or escape route while the escape sign light is in operation. The escape route direction displayed on the corresponding escape sign lights can thus be adapted in a simple and flexible manner, it being possible in particular to react to dangers such as smoke, fire, blocked doors or the like. With an escape sign luminaire designed in this way, the potential danger for people fleeing or to be evacuated can be reduced Reduce people so that they can be routed out of a building more quickly, efficiently and safely.
According to a further embodiment, the escape sign luminaire is designed to variably select the escape route lighting elements used for escape route lighting, with at least one direction illuminated by the selected escape route lighting elements used corresponding to the escape route direction displayed on the escape route symbol.
An escape sign luminaire designed in this way enables the illuminated escape route to be dynamically adapted to the situation at hand. In particular, it is possible to react quickly and dynamically to changes in the recommended escape route or escape route during operation of the escape sign luminaire and in particular during operation of the escape route lighting. The selection for the escape route lighting elements used for escape route lighting can thus be adapted in a simple and flexible manner, such that the escape route illuminated by the escape sign light can be dynamically adjusted. In particular, it is possible to react to dangers such as smoke development, fire, blocked doors, or the like. With an escape sign light designed in this way, the risk potential for people to flee or to be evacuated can be reduced, so that these people can be guided out of a building faster, more efficiently and more safely.
An escape sign luminaire particularly preferably has both a dynamic display of the escape route symbol and a dynamic adjustment of the escape route lighting according to the two features described above, so that these two features can interact synergistically, with at least one direction illuminated by the selected escape route lighting elements corresponding to the escape route direction displayed on the escape route symbol . With such a configuration, both the escape route direction displayed on the escape route symbol and the escape route lighting on the ground indicating the escape route direction are adjusted, so that people fleeing or to be evacuated can be guided easily, quickly and efficiently according to the changed escape route.
However, the inventive idea of dynamically adapting the escape route lighting using the escape route lighting elements is not limited to escape sign luminaires with a light guide or with a light guide element, but can also be applied to other escape sign luminaires, in particular box-shaped escape sign luminaires, which is included in the second independent claim. According to this inventive concept, an escape sign luminaire is provided which a Illuminant element - preferably consisting of at least one illuminant, in particular an LED, and a circuit board - and has a light-emitting surface. In this case, the light-emitting surface is designed to display an escape route symbol, with the escape route symbol indicating an escape route direction, and with the escape route direction displayed being variable. Furthermore, the escape sign luminaire has a control unit, which is designed to dynamically change the escape route symbol displayed on the light-emitting surface, and a number of escape route lighting elements for escape route lighting. The escape route lighting elements are designed to emit light in different directions. In addition, the control unit and thus the escape sign luminaire are designed to select the escape route lighting elements used for escape route lighting based on the displayed escape route direction, with at least one direction illuminated by the selected escape route lighting elements preferably corresponding to the escape route direction displayed on the escape route symbol.
The area illuminated for escape route lighting can thus be flexibly adapted to the current situation in a simple and rapid manner. In particular, this change in the escape route lighting elements used can take place by actuating the escape sign luminaire with digital control signals. However, it is also conceivable to control the change in the escape route lighting in some other way, for example by actuating a switch or the like.
Furthermore, in a further embodiment of an escape sign luminaire, which is designed to variably adapt the selection of escape route lighting elements used for escape route lighting, it can be provided that the light emission surface for displaying the escape route symbol is formed as a display, in particular as an e-ink display.
In such a configuration, the escape route symbol can be changed in a particularly aesthetic, flexible and simple manner. Furthermore, a particularly clear display of the escape route can be implemented in this way. However, other display methods can also be provided.
Furthermore, preferably, an escape sign luminaire which is designed to variably adapt the selection of the escape route lighting elements used to illuminate the escape route can also be characterized in that the control unit is designed to receive external control signals and based on the received ones Control signals to control the light-emitting surface and/or the existing escape route lighting elements accordingly.
An escape sign light formed in this way is suitable for the flexible, quick and easy adjustment of the escape route indicated and illuminated by the escape sign light, so that people can be evacuated or rescued particularly efficiently in emergencies.

In the embodiment shown, the

In this case, the

While the escape
In the embodiment of the
Furthermore, in the exemplary embodiment shown, it is provided that the escape
For example, such an adaptation of the selection of the escape
Furthermore, other adaptation options for the selection of the escape
The escape sign luminaire is preferably designed to variably adapt the selection of the escape

So if persons fleeing or to be evacuated follow the path B1 illuminated by the escape
