Definitions

  • the invention relates to a panel holder for holding the top panel of a door.
  • the invention relates to an upper panel for a door having at least two panel holders.
  • the invention relates to a door having a frame, a door leaf and a top panel.
  • top panel and the door panel are aligned parallel to each other, so that the horizontal gap between the door panel and the top panel is evenly wide.
  • the outer edges of the top panel and the door leaf should also be aligned if possible.
  • the surfaces of the top panel and the door should also lie in one plane with respect to the front sides of the door leaf and top panel.
  • the known panel holders allow at most a horizontal and a vertical alignment. However, this is very complex and it is not possible to align the surface of the front side of the top panel with the door leaf.
  • a further object of the invention is to create a top panel that can be aligned in all three spatial directions.
  • this object is achieved by a top panel according to patent claim 8 . It is also an object of the invention to create a door with an upper panel that can be aligned in all three spatial directions.
  • the horizontal direction is the horizontal direction from one side of the frame to the other side of the frame (across the doorway)
  • the vertical direction is the direction from the bottom to the top the frame
  • the longitudinal direction is oriented in the direction of passage.
  • the directions are perpendicular to one another like the ordinate, abscissa and applicate of a three-dimensional Cartesian coordinate system.
  • a screen holder according to the invention has two elongated holes extending from a first side to a second side opposite the first side, the longitudinal extension of at least one of the elongated holes being transverse to the direction connecting the elongated holes, and one on a third side out of the rest Panel holder protruding eccentric pin, which is rotatably mounted in the panel holder and can be fixed in one position using a fixing element.
  • the elongated holes are preferably arranged one behind the other at a distance in the horizontal direction and extend through the panel holder in the vertical direction.
  • the eccentric pin preferably protrudes from the panel holder in the horizontal direction.
  • the second side of the bezel holder is given by the mounting surface.
  • this is the side of the panel holder that rests against a top panel during assembly.
  • the slotted holes are used to connect the panel holder to a top panel using screws.
  • the use of elongated holes means that the screws have a certain amount of play in the longitudinal direction in the elongated holes, so that the panel holder can be aligned with the top panel and connected to it in the aligned position.
  • the elongated holes serve to align the surfaces of the top panel and door leaf in the longitudinal direction with respect to one another in the case of assembly taking place in the vertical direction.
  • both elongated holes are aligned transversely to the horizontal direction.
  • the fixing device is used to securely fix the eccentric pin in the set position. In the fixed state, the eccentric pin can no longer rotate, so that the orientation of the eccentric pin is fixed in the vertical and longitudinal direction.
  • the fixing device is preferably detachable, so that an eccentric pin fixed in a first position can be fixed in a second position by loosening and re-fixing with the fixing device, if this is necessary for aligning a top panel.
  • the eccentric pin is arranged eccentrically on a bolt which has a screw thread at least in some areas and has a laterally operable screw head at the end connected to the eccentric pin.
  • the position of the eccentric pin can be adjusted in the longitudinal direction and in the vertical direction by rotating the bolt.
  • the screw thread ensures that the bolt is firmly seated in the panel holder.
  • the screw head is designed as a hexagonal screw head.
  • the bolt and the eccentric pin are designed in one piece.
  • a one-piece formation of bolts and eccentric pins allows a particularly high stability of the screen holder. This is necessary because when mounting a top panel using a panel holder according to the invention, the entire weight of the top panel is carried by the eccentric pins of the panel holder.
  • the eccentric pin and the bolt are advantageously made of a stable material.
  • the use of high-strength steel is possible.
  • the fixing element is designed as a grub screw arranged in a thread in the panel holder, which can be clamped against the bolt connected to the eccentric pin in such a way that the latter can be fixed.
  • the bolt has an area provided with an engagement structure, into which a tip of the grub screw can engage.
  • the engagement structure is designed, for example, as grooves running in the longitudinal direction or a multiplicity of bores arranged next to one another.
  • the panel holder has an additional hole which extends parallel to the elongated holes and has a circular cross section, for example.
  • an additional hole in addition to the elongated holes enables improved fixation of the position set using the elongated holes when using screws to connect the panel holder to a top panel.
  • the additional hole is designed in connection with the screw used in such a way that the screw has no or almost no play in the additional hole.
  • the slots provided for the screw connection of panel holder and top panel and the additional hole that may be present are provided with a funnel on the side opposite the mounting surface, so that countersunk screws can be accommodated flush in the holes.
  • the panel holder has a cover that can be placed on the side facing away from the mounting surface.
  • Such a cover is designed, for example, as a cover plate.
  • a top panel according to the invention for a door has at least two panel holders according to the invention.
  • the panel holders are preferably arranged in a milling in each case in the upper panel.
  • the arrangement of the panel holders in millings in the top panel enables the alignment of the panel holders to the top panel and the accessibility of the panel holder required for connecting the panel holder and top panel while at the same time optically unobtrusive integration of the panel holders into the top panel.
  • the millings are preferably arranged on the underside of the top panel at the opposite ends, so that the eccentric pins of the panel holders located therein protrude from the top panel in opposite directions in the horizontal direction.
  • a cover that may be provided serves to conceal the panel holder and preferably also to mill the panel in which the panel holder is arranged.
  • the panel holders are preferably each connected to the upper panel by means of at least two screws.
  • two of these screws are screwed to the upper panel through the slots in the panel holder.
  • the panel holders are particularly preferably each connected to the top panel by means of three screws.
  • two screws are screwed through the oblong holes to the top panel and one screw through the additional hole.
  • the millings are designed to be somewhat wider than the panel holders.
  • the panel holders can be moved to a certain extent within the millings, so that the panel holder and upper panel can be aligned with one another before the screw connection is fixed.
  • the adjustability of the top panel in the longitudinal direction is thus made possible by the interaction of the elongated holes in the panel holder and the free space created between the outer sides of the panel holder and the side walls of the milling.
  • the milling of a screen is not aligned centrally to the screen side, but is shifted out of the center.
  • this enables an identical structure for panels with a rebated bottom edge or flat bottom edge and, on the other hand, if the milling is positioned from the center to the front, easier alignment of the panel to the upper edge of the door. This is made possible in particular by the improved accessibility with a wrench when the panel is installed.
  • a top panel according to the invention is provided with at least one further milling on the upper side.
  • the upper panel can be connected to a frame at the top by inserting at least one plug-in element mounted on the frame into the at least one further milling.
  • the top panel has two further millings on the upper side, into each of which a plug-in element can be inserted.
  • a door according to the invention has a frame, a door leaf and a top panel.
  • Two opposite fastening holes are arranged in the side parts of the frame and the top panel is fastened to the frame in such a way that the eccentric pin of a panel holder according to the invention engages in one of the fastening holes and thus fixes the top panel in the door.
  • At least one plug-in element is attached to the transverse part of the frame located above the door passage, which in at least one corresponding further milling of the top panel can be inserted, so that the top panel is also securely fixed in the frame in the upper area.
  • the plug-in elements are designed, for example, as metal brackets or as pins that protrude downwards from the transverse part of the frame.
  • the upper panel of a door according to the invention is preferably designed as an upper panel according to the invention.
  • this must be prepared before installing the top panel by providing the holes in the side parts and, if necessary, attaching at least one plug-in device.
  • figure 1 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of a panel holder (1) according to the invention.
  • the panel holder (1) has an elongate body (2) in which two elongated holes (3) are arranged at a distance from one another.
  • the elongated shape of the elongated holes (3) extends transversely to the longitudinal direction of the panel holder (1).
  • the screen holder (1) has two further openings (10) at its ends, which are used for connection to a cover, in particular a cover plate (not shown).
  • An eccentric pin (4) extends out of the rest of the panel holder (1) in this longitudinal direction.
  • a fixing device (5) is arranged, which serves to fix the eccentric pin (4).
  • a screw head (6) which can be operated from the side and is designed as a hexagonal screw head, is arranged on the eccentric pin (4).
  • an additional hole (7) Arranged between the elongated holes (3) is an additional hole (7) which extends parallel to the latter and also extends through the body (2) of the panel holder (1) from the first side (8).
  • the elongated holes (3) extend from the first side (8) to the second side (9) of the panel holder (1).
  • the second side (9) forms the mounting surface, which rests directly on an upper panel when the panel holder (1) is installed.
  • the panel holder (1) has a receiving opening (11) for receiving the eccentric pin (4).
  • the fixing device (5) engages in the receiving opening (11) in the fixing state.
  • FIG 3 an eccentric pin (4) of a panel holder (1) according to the invention is shown in a perspective view.
  • the eccentric pin (4) is connected to a bolt (12) which has a screw head (6) on its end facing the eccentric pin (4).
  • the bolt (12) has a screw thread (not shown) designed as an external thread.
  • an engagement structure for example in the form of longitudinal grooves, is arranged (not shown).
  • figure 4 shows a longitudinal section of the in figure 3 illustrated eccentric pin (4).
  • the central axis I of the bolt (12) and the central axis II of the eccentric pin (4) are located so that it can be seen that the eccentric pin (4) is eccentrically connected to the bolt (12).
  • FIG 5 a part of the fixing device (5) of an embodiment of a panel holder (1) according to the invention is shown.
  • This part of the fixing device (5) is designed as a grub screw (14) which has a point (15) at its lower end.
