Abstract

Durch die Auswahl von bestimmten Stabilisatoren und einen angepassten Anteil wird ein verbessertes keramisches Material zur Wärmedämmung erzielt: Zirkonoxid mit 0,2 Gew.-% bis 8,0 Gew.-% Basisstabilisatoren: Yttriumoxid (Y2O3), Hafniumoxid (HfO2), Ceroxid (CeO2), Kalziumoxid (CaO) und/oder Magnesiumoxid (MgO), wobei zumindest Yttriumoxid (Y2O3) verwendet wird, sowie optional zumindest einer der Zusatz-Stabilisatoren: 0,2 Gew.-% bis 20 Gew.-% Erbiumoxid (Er2O3) und/oder Ytterbiumoxid (Yb2O3).

Beschreibung
KERAMISCHES MATERIAL, PULVER SOWIE SCHICHTSYSTEM UMFASSEND DEM KERAMISCHEN MATERIAL
Die Erfindung betrifft ein keramisches Material und damit hergestelltes Pulver, das für keramische Schichtsysteme ver- wendet werden kann.
Keramiken weisen im Allgemeinen eine hohe Temperaturstabili- tät auf und werden daher oft als keramische Beschichtungen auf Hochtemperaturbauteilen, wie Turbinen, insbesondere Gas- turbinen verwendet.
Es ist das stetige Bestreben die Wärmedämmeigenschaften des keramischen Materials zu verbessern.
Es ist daher Aufgabe der Erfindung oben genanntes Problem zu lösen.
Die Aufgabe wird gelöst durch eine Keramik nach Anspruch 1, ein keramisches Pulver nach Anspruch 17 und ein Schichtsystem nach Anspruch 18.
Keramische Schichten sind auf der Basis Zirkonoxid mit Stabi- lisatoren bekannt, wobei hier oft vollstabilisiertes Zirkon- oxid aufgrund seiner besseren thermischen Stabilität verwen- det wird.
Ziel der Idee ist es aber, teilstabilisiertes Zirkonoxid mit einer verbesserten, insbesondere thermischen Stabilität zu verwenden.
Die Figuren 1 bis 4 zeigen Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfin- dung.
Das Zirkonoxid wird mit 0,2 Gew.-% bis 8 Gew.-%, insbesondere mit 0,2 Gew.-% bis 6,0 Gew.-% Basisstabilisatoren: Yttrium- oxid, Hafniumoxid, Ceroxid, Kalziumoxid und/oder Magnesium- oxid stabilisiert sowie optional mit Zusatzstabilisatoren 0,2 Gew.-% bis 20 Gew.-% Erbiumoxid und/oder Ytterbiumoxid.
Yttriumoxid wird jeden Fall verwendet und zumindest einer der Basisstabilisatoren Hafniumoxid, Ceroxid, Kalziumoxid und/oder Magnesiumoxid werden verwendet.
Diese keramische Zusammensetzung kann als Pulver hergestellt werden, so dass noch weitere Zusätze wie in der Verwendung von abrasiven Schichten kubisches Bornitrid oder andere abra- sive Partikeln aufweisen.
In einem Schichtsystem 1I (Figur 1) wird eine keramische Schicht 10I auf Metall aufgebracht, wobei bei vorzugsweise verwendeten nickel- oder kobaltbasierten Superlegierungen als Substrat 4 eine metallische Haftschicht 7 vorhanden ist, die Aluminiumoxid (TGO, nicht dargestellt) bildet, wobei die me- tallische Haftvermittlerschicht vorzugsweise ein Aluminid, Platinaluminid oder als Basis eine NiCoCrAlY-Legierung dar- stellt, optional mit x = Ta, Re, Fe und/oder Si.
Die keramische Schicht aus dem keramischen Material gemäß der Erfindung kann mittels EB-PVD, Plasmaspritzen (APS, ...), ... hergestellt werden und weist eine kolumnare Struktur auf oder eine segmentierte Struktur auf.
Die Schicht 10I, 10'', 10''', 10IV (Figuren 2 - 4) weist vor- zugsweise eine Schichtdicke von 100μm bis 1000μm auf.
Wie in der Figur 2 gezeigt, kann eine keramische Schicht 10II wie in Figur 1 auch eine keramische Unterschicht 13II aufwei- sen, deren Schichtdicke jedoch mindestens 20% dünner ausge- bildet ist als die des erfindungsgemäßen keramischen Materi- als der keramischen Schicht 10II.
Die keramische Unterschicht 13II weist vorzugsweise 8YSZ auf, also mit 3mol% bis 4mol% Yttrium-stabilisiertes Zirkonoxid, und ist damit deutlich verschieden von dem Material der kera- mischen Schicht 10II.
Figur 3 und 4 zeigen weitere Beispiele für erfindungsgemäße Schichtstrukturen 1III, 1IV.
Gemäß Figur 3 liegt im Vergleich zu Figur 1 eine segmentierte keramische Schicht 10III eines Schichtsystems 1III vor, welches viele, längere und vertikale Risse 15, 15I, ausgehend von der Oberfläche 18 der äußersten keramischen Schicht 10III auf- weist, die sich größtenteils über die gesamte keramische Schichtdicke erstrecken, hier insbesondere bis zur metalli- schen Haftschicht 7 oder deren TGO (nicht dargestellt) er- strecken .
Ebenso kann ein Schichtsystem 1IV eine keramische Anbindungs- schicht 13IV (Fig. 4) für die äußerste TBC 10IV aufweisen, wo- bei die Anbindungsschicht 13IV wie in Figur 2 beschrieben ausgebildet sein kann.
Die äußerste keramische Schicht 10IV ist insbesondere wie die äußerste Schicht 10III in Figur 3 ausgebildet.
In der keramischen Anbindungsschicht 13IV erstrecken sich je- doch vorzugsweise ebenfalls vertikale Risse 14, die sich durch beide keramischen Schichten 10IV, 13IV erstrecken.
Die längeren Risse sind durch spezielle Verfahrensparameter oder Herstellungsmethoden entstanden und stellen nicht Risse zwischen mehreren Körnern dar.

Das keramische Material weist vorzugsweise 2,5 Gew.-% bis 5,5 Gew.-% Yttriumoxid (Y2O3) auf, insbesondere 3,0 Gew.-% bis 5,0 Gew.-% Yttriumoxid (Y2O3), ganz insbesondere 3,5 Gew.-% bis 4,0 Gew. .
Das keramische Material kann ebenso vorzugsweise 1,5 Gew.-% bis 3,0 Gew.-% Yttriumoxid (Y2O3) auf, insbesondere 2,0 Gew.- % bis 2,5 Gew.-% Yttriumoxid (Y2O3) aufweisen. Das keramische Material weist vorzugsweise auf: Hafniumoxid (HfO2) mit 0,2 Gew.-% bis 4,0 Gew.-%, insbesondere 0,5 Gew.-% bis 4,0 Gew.-% Hafniumoxid (HfO2), ganz insbesondere 0,6 Gew.-% bis 4,0 Gew.-% Hafniumoxid (HfO2
Das keramische Material weist vorzugsweise zur besseren, also geringeren thermischen Leitfähigkeit auf: Hafniumoxid (HfO2) mit 0,2 Gew.-% bis 2,0 Gew.-%, insbesondere mit 0,6 Gew.-% bis 2,0 Gew.-% Hafniumoxid (HfO2), ganz insbesondere mit 0,8 Gew.-% bis 2,0 Gew.-% Hafniumoxid (HfO2).
Das keramische Material weist vorzugsweise zur besseren ther- mischen Stabilität auf: Hafniumoxid (HfO2) mit 2,0 Gew.-% bis 4,0 Gew.-%, insbesondere 2,4 Gew.-% bis 4,0 Gew.-% Hafniumoxid (HfO2), ganz insbesondere 4,0 Gew.-% bis 4,0 Gew.-% Hafniumoxid (HfO2).
Das keramische Material weist vorzugsweise 5,5 Gew.-% bis 8,5 Gew.-% Ytterbiumoxid (Yb2O3) auf, insbesondere 6,0 Gew.-& bis 8,0 Gew.-% Yb2O3, ganz insbesondere 6,5 Gew.-% bis 7,5 Gew.-% Yb2O3.
Das keramische Material weist vorzugsweise 3,0 Gew.-% bis 4,5 Gew.-% Ytterbiumoxid (Yb2O3), insbesondere 3,5 Gew.-& bis 4,0 Gew.-% Ytterbiumoxid (Yb2O3) auf.
Ebenso vorzugsweise weist das keramische Material 2,0 Gew.-% bis 4,0 Gew.-% Er2O3 auf, insbesondere 2,5 Gew.-% bis 3,5 Gew.-% Er2O3.
Weiterhin vorzugsweise weist das keramische Material (6.0 - x) Gew.-% Y2O3 + (2-4) x Gew.-% Yb2O3/Er2O3 auf, d.h., bei 4,0 Gew.-% Y2O3 entspricht x=2 und der Anteil von Yb2O3/Er2O3 be- trägt (2-4)*2, also zwischen 4 Gew.-% und 8 Gew.-%.

Patentansprüche
1. Keramisches Material auf der Basis von Zirkonoxid (ZrO2) mit 0,2 Gew.-% bis 8,0 Gew.-% Basisstabilisatoren:, insbesondere mit 0,2 Gew.-% bis 6,0 Gew.-% Basisstabilisa- toren :
Yttriumoxid (Y2O3), Hafniumoxid (HfO2) , Ceroxid (CeO2), Kalziumoxid (CaO) und/oder Magnesiumoxid (MgO), wobei zumindest Yttriumoxid (Y2O3) verwendet wird, sowie optional zumindest einer der Zusatz-Stabilisatoren:
0,2 Gew.-% bis 20 Gew.-% Erbiumoxid ( Er2O3) und/oder Ytterbiumoxid (Yb2O3).

5. Keramisches Material nach einem oder mehreren der An- sprüche 1, 2, 3 oder 4, das zumindest Yttriumoxid (Y2O3) und Hafniumoxid (HfO2) als Basisstabilisatoren aufweist, insbesondere nur Yttriumoxid (Y2O3) und Hafniumoxid (HfO2) als Basisstabilisatoren aufweist.
6. Keramisches Material nach einem oder mehreren der An- sprüche 1, 2, 3, 4 oder 5, bei dem der Gehalt an Hafniumoxid (HfO2) 0,2 Gew.-% bis 4,0

14. Keramisches Material nach einem oder mehreren der vorhe- rigen Ansprüche, bei dem der Gehalt an Hafniumoxid (HfO2) 0,2 Gew.-% bis 2,0 Gew.-% beträgt, insbesondere 0,6 Gew.-% bis 2,0 Gew.-% Hafniumoxid (HfO2), ganz insbesondere 0,8 Gew.-% bis 2,0 Gew.-% Hafniumoxid (HfO2 ) beträgt.
15. Keramisches Material nach einem oder mehreren der vor- herigen Ansprüche 1 bis 13, bei dem der Gehalt an Hafniumoxid (HfO2) 2,0 Gew.-% bis 4,0 Gew.-% beträgt, insbesondere 2,4 Gew.-% bis 4,0 Gew.-% Hafniumoxid (HfO2), ganz insbesondere 3,0 Gew.-% bis 4,0 Gew.-% Hafniumoxid (HfO2).
16. Keramisches Pulver aufweisend, insbesondere bestehend aus, einer Zusammensetzung eines Materials gemäß einem oder meh- reren der Ansprüche 1 bis 15.
17. Schichtsystem (1) zumindest aufweisend ein metallisches Substrat (4), optional eine metallische Haftvermittlerschicht (7) und eine zumindest eine keramische Schicht (10I, 10II, 10III,
10IV) auf der Basis des erfindungsgemäßen Materials gemäß Anspruch 1 bis 15 oder hergestellt durch ein Pulver gemäß Anspruch 16.
18. Schichtsystem nach Anspruch 17, aufweisend eine metallische Haftvermittlerschicht (7) zwischen der ke- ramischen Schicht (13II, 13IV; 10I, 10III) und dem metalli- schen Substrat (4), insbesondere direkt auf dem Substrat (4), wobei die Haftvermittlerschicht (7) eine Legierung des Typs NiCoCrAlY—X, X ist optional = Ta, Re und/oder Si aufweist, insbesondere NiCoCrAlY oder NiCoCrAlY-Ta.
19. Schichtsystem nach einem oder beiden der Ansprüche 17 oder 18, bei dem eine keramische Unterschicht (13II, 13IV) unter der keramischen Schicht (10II, 10IV) vorhanden ist, die insbesondere mindestens 20% dünner ausgebildet ist und Yttrium-stabilisiertes Zirkonoxid (YSZ), insbesondere 8YSZ aufweist, also mit 3mol% bis 4mol% Yttrium-stabilisiertes Zirkonoxid.
20. Schichtsystem nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 17, 18 oder 19, das eine Segmentierung, insbesondere durch längere vertikale Risse (14; 15, 15I), in der oder den keramischen Schichten (10III, 10IV; 13IV) aufweist, insbesondere auch in der keramischen Unterschicht (13IV).
21. Schichtsystem nach Anspruch 20, bei der die Segmentierung durch vertikale Risse (15, 15I) nur in der äußersten keramischen Schicht (10III, 10IV) vor- handen sind.
22. Schichtsystem nach Anspruch 20, bei der die Segmentierung durch vertikale Risse (14) durch beide keramischen Schichten (10IV; 13IV) verlaufen.
23. Schichtsystem nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 20,
21 oder 22, bei der sich viele vertikale Risse (15, 15I) bis zur Anbin- dungsschicht (7) erstrecken.
