Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for loading concrete mixers and cleaning the inlet hopper.
- Concrete mixers also known as truck mixers, are transport vehicles with a rotating mixing drum that are used to transport fresh concrete to a construction site.
- the filling of the concrete mixer takes place at a mixing plant, with the concrete being filled via the so-called collection hopper of the mixing plant into the so-called inlet hopper of the concrete mixer.
- the truck mixer is driven to a predetermined loading point of the mixing plant in order to position the inlet hopper under the collection hopper.
- the inlet funnel must be cleaned with water immediately after loading in order to prevent the concrete that has accumulated on it during loading from hardening. In the simplest case, this was previously done by the driver of the concrete mixer manually rinsing and cleaning the inlet hopper with water after loading. However, this is complicated and time-consuming. In addition, when cleaning the filling funnel, an undefined addition of water to the concrete in the drum occurs and manual cleaning involves a not inconsiderable risk of accidents for the driver. Another solution was to use a special cleaning station Provide spray nozzles in the mixing plant or next to the mixing plant to which the concrete mixer should be driven after loading has taken place. If possible, the cleaning station should be positioned in such a way that while the concrete mixer is being cleaned, another concrete mixer can be filled at the designated parking space. In this case too, however, a separate step is required for cleaning, and the installation of the additional cleaning station is space-consuming and costly.
- the object of the invention is to provide a solution with which the cleaning of the inlet hoppers of concrete mixers after they have been loaded can be made more efficient.
- the invention relates to a device for loading concrete mixers with fresh concrete, the device having a collecting hopper for discharging concrete into an inlet hopper of a concrete mixer, the device having a drip protection device with a drip catcher in order to catch concrete running out of the collecting hopper after loading is complete , and wherein the device has a cleaning system for flushing the inlet funnel with water, which is arranged on the anti-drip device and comprises one or more spray nozzles.
- the anti-drip device can then be moved from a closed cleaning position to an open loading position. After the concrete has been loaded, the anti-drip device and the cleaning system can be moved back to the closed cleaning position and the cleaning of the inlet hopper can be started. Finally, the filled concrete mixer is driven forward from the parking space.
- the overall result is a drive-through concept, which saves a great deal of time, particularly when several concrete mixers are filled in cycles.
- the spray nozzles of the cleaning system are arranged on the underside of the drip catcher.
- the drip protection device preferably has a mechanism with which the drip protection device and cleaning system can be moved between a closed cleaning position, in which the drip catcher covers the outlet of the collection funnel, and an open loading position, in which the outlet of the collection funnel is uncovered.
- a design of the mechanism is preferred such that the drip catcher is moved between the cleaning position and the loading position as part of a pivoting movement.
- the pivoting movement can be realized by a suitable mechanism.
- the drip catcher and the collecting funnel are preferably designed in such a way that the outlet of the collecting funnel is sealed in the closed cleaning position of the drip catcher.
- the collection funnel can have a flexible rubber tube.
- the drip catcher can have rollers which are arranged in such a way that the rubber tube is squeezed when the drip catcher is moved in, in order to close the outlet, or is pushed to the side.
- the drip catcher is moved backwards away from the outlet of the collecting hopper during the transition from the cleaning position to the loading position with respect to the intended parking position of the concrete mixer.
- the rubber tube is preferably also cut at an angle in the starting area, so that there is no dripping from a protruding rubber strip.
- the device also comprises an adjustment unit for moving the anti-drip device and the cleaning system and a control unit with a signal connection to the adjustment unit, wherein the control unit is designed to move the anti-drip device from the cleaning position to the loading position for loading the concrete mixer and, after the loading of the Move back the concrete mixer from the loading position to the cleaning position.
- the adjustment unit preferably includes a motor such as an electric motor.
- the movement can be activated with the aid of an assistance system for detecting the correct positioning of the concrete mixer or a safety system for monitoring the working space around the concrete mixer and in response to a start command from a driver.
- the cleaning system preferably comprises two or more than two spray nozzles to flush the inlet funnel with water.
- the spray nozzles can be symmetrical with respect to a longitudinal axis of the device, which corresponds to the longitudinal axis of the concrete mixer in the intended loading position.
- the nozzles can be individually fixed or adjustable, i.e. pivotable.
- a pipe system of the cleaning system preferably supplies the spray nozzles with water.
- the device preferably includes a control unit which is designed to take into account the amount of cleaning water in the upstream concrete production.
- the cleaning system does not include water pumps and/or is designed to carry out the cleaning with static water pressure. Description
The invention relates to a device for loading concrete mixers and cleaning the inlet hopper.
Concrete mixers, also known as truck mixers, are transport vehicles with a rotating mixing drum that are used to transport fresh concrete to a construction site. The filling of the concrete mixer takes place at a mixing plant, with the concrete being filled via the so-called collection hopper of the mixing plant into the so-called inlet hopper of the concrete mixer. The truck mixer is driven to a predetermined loading point of the mixing plant in order to position the inlet hopper under the collection hopper.
The inlet funnel must be cleaned with water immediately after loading in order to prevent the concrete that has accumulated on it during loading from hardening.
The object of the invention is to provide a solution with which the cleaning of the inlet hoppers of concrete mixers after they have been loaded can be made more efficient.
Against this background, the invention relates to a device for loading concrete mixers with fresh concrete, the device having a collecting hopper for discharging concrete into an inlet hopper of a concrete mixer, the device having a drip protection device with a drip catcher in order to catch concrete running out of the collecting hopper after loading is complete , and wherein the device has a cleaning system for flushing the inlet funnel with water, which is arranged on the anti-drip device and comprises one or more spray nozzles.
This enables the concrete mixer to be driven forward to the parking space with the drip catcher swiveled in. The anti-drip device can then be moved from a closed cleaning position to an open loading position. After the concrete has been loaded, the anti-drip device and the cleaning system can be moved back to the closed cleaning position and the cleaning of the inlet hopper can be started. Finally, the filled concrete mixer is driven forward from the parking space. The overall result is a drive-through concept, which saves a great deal of time, particularly when several concrete mixers are filled in cycles.
It is particularly preferred that the spray nozzles of the cleaning system are arranged on the underside of the drip catcher.
The drip protection device preferably has a mechanism with which the drip protection device and cleaning system can be moved between a closed cleaning position, in which the drip catcher covers the outlet of the collection funnel, and an open loading position, in which the outlet of the collection funnel is uncovered.
A design of the mechanism is preferred such that the drip catcher is moved between the cleaning position and the loading position as part of a pivoting movement. The pivoting movement can be realized by a suitable mechanism.
The drip catcher and the collecting funnel are preferably designed in such a way that the outlet of the collecting funnel is sealed in the closed cleaning position of the drip catcher. For example, the collection funnel can have a flexible rubber tube. The drip catcher can have rollers which are arranged in such a way that the rubber tube is squeezed when the drip catcher is moved in, in order to close the outlet, or is pushed to the side.
It is also preferred that the drip catcher is moved backwards away from the outlet of the collecting hopper during the transition from the cleaning position to the loading position with respect to the intended parking position of the concrete mixer. The advantage of this direction of movement, particularly in the case of a rubber tube on the collection funnel, is that clogging can be better avoided.
The rubber tube is preferably also cut at an angle in the starting area, so that there is no dripping from a protruding rubber strip.
More preferably, the device also comprises an adjustment unit for moving the anti-drip device and the cleaning system and a control unit with a signal connection to the adjustment unit, wherein the control unit is designed to move the anti-drip device from the cleaning position to the loading position for loading the concrete mixer and, after the loading of the Move back the concrete mixer from the loading position to the cleaning position. The adjustment unit preferably includes a motor such as an electric motor.
Provision is preferably made for the movement of the anti-drip device and the cleaning system to be initiated semi-automatically. The movement can be activated with the aid of an assistance system for detecting the correct positioning of the concrete mixer or a safety system for monitoring the working space around the concrete mixer and in response to a start command from a driver.
The cleaning system preferably comprises two or more than two spray nozzles to flush the inlet funnel with water. The spray nozzles can be symmetrical with respect to a longitudinal axis of the device, which corresponds to the longitudinal axis of the concrete mixer in the intended loading position. The nozzles can be individually fixed or adjustable, i.e. pivotable. A pipe system of the cleaning system preferably supplies the spray nozzles with water. The device preferably includes a control unit which is designed to take into account the amount of cleaning water in the upstream concrete production.
In one embodiment, the cleaning system does not include water pumps and/or is designed to carry out the cleaning with static water pressure. Due to the arrangement of the cleaning system directly above the inlet funnel and the cleaning that takes place immediately after filling, the water pressure provided from the public water network, which can be between 4-10 bar, for example, is sufficient.
In one embodiment it is provided that the device includes visual and/or acoustic assistance systems for the correct positioning of the concrete mixer at the loading position. Examples include position sensors or camera systems for object detection, each possibly coupled with traffic lights. For example, a visual or acoustic assistance system can signal the end of the cleaning process so that the driver knows when to drive off.

The loading and cleaning of the
