Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a foldable display stand made of rigid cardboard adapted to be unfolded in order to present everyday consumer products therein in particular.
  • the foldable display is suitable for point-of-sale advertising commonly referred to by its abbreviation “POS”.
  • rigid cardboard or "semi-rigid cardboard” usually means corrugated cardboard, consisting of one or more sheets of corrugated paper glued to one or more sheets of flat paper. The combination of fluted paper sheets and flat paper sheets ensures the relative rigidity of the material obtained.
  • Foldable display units comprising a rear wall having two side edges and two side walls mounted respectively hinged on said two side edges.
  • the two side walls each have a free edge opposite the corresponding side edge of the rear wall.
  • the displays comprise at least one support shelf having a rear edge hingedly mounted on the rear wall and a free opposite front edge.
  • the support shelf has two opposite side edges respectively connected to the two side walls by means of two 45° angular flaps centered on the axis of articulation of the shelf on the rear wall.
  • a problem which arises and which the present invention aims to solve is to provide an easily unfoldable but more compact foldable display stand.
  • a foldable display stand made of rigid cardboard comprising: a rear wall having two side edges, and two side walls mounted respectively hinged on said two side edges and each having a free edge opposite said edges side, said two side walls being adapted to be brought opposite one another; at least one support element comprising on the one hand a rear edge mounted articulated on said rear wall and an opposite front edge extending between the free edges of said two facing side walls, and on the other hand an intermediate part extending from said rear edge to said front edge to be able to form a receiving shelf.

Description

The present invention relates to a foldable display stand made of rigid cardboard adapted to be unfolded in order to present everyday consumer products therein in particular.

Flat foldable displays made of rigid cardboard and adapted to be easily unfolded in situ by forming shelves for depositing products therein in order to ensure their promotion, are well known.

The term "rigid cardboard" or "semi-rigid cardboard" usually means corrugated cardboard, consisting of one or more sheets of corrugated paper glued to one or more sheets of flat paper. The combination of fluted paper sheets and flat paper sheets ensures the relative rigidity of the material obtained.

Foldable display units are known comprising a rear wall having two side edges and two side walls mounted respectively hinged on said two side edges. The two side walls each have a free edge opposite the corresponding side edge of the rear wall. Also, the displays comprise at least one support shelf having a rear edge hingedly mounted on the rear wall and a free opposite front edge. In addition, the support shelf has two opposite side edges respectively connected to the two side walls by means of two 45° angular flaps centered on the axis of articulation of the shelf on the rear wall. Thus, when the two side walls are brought vertically opposite each other while they pivot on the two side edges of the rear wall, the tablet is carried perpendicular to the rear wall and its free edge comes extend between the free edges of the side walls. The angular flaps are then applied against the inside of the side walls.

On the other hand, when the two side walls are separated from each other to be extended in the plane of the rear wall and on each side of the latter, the tablet pivots and comes to rest against the rear wall while the angular flaps fold up against the side walls. In this way, the folded display lies flat.

On pourra notamment se référer au document FR 2 975 576 , lequel décrit un tel présentoir, ou se référer au document FR2956959 A1 .Also, it is easy to provide a plurality of shelves spaced from each other, connected to the rear wall and to the two side walls in the same way, to form a multi-storey display. Note, however, that this type of display is relatively bulky when folded, since its footprint area is equal to the footprint area of the rear wall and the two side walls located in the same plane.

Also, a problem which arises and which the present invention aims to solve is to provide an easily unfoldable but more compact foldable display stand.

For this purpose, it is proposed, according to a first object, a foldable display stand made of rigid cardboard comprising: a rear wall having two side edges, and two side walls mounted respectively hinged on said two side edges and each having a free edge opposite said edges side, said two side walls being adapted to be brought opposite one another; at least one support element comprising on the one hand a rear edge mounted articulated on said rear wall and an opposite front edge extending between the free edges of said two facing side walls, and on the other hand an intermediate part extending from said rear edge to said front edge to be able to form a receiving shelf. In addition, said front edge is articulated on said free edges, while said intermediate part is mounted articulated on said front edge; and said two side walls are adapted to be folded respectively in half towards each other along a median fold line parallel to the side edge of said rear wall, while said intermediate part folds in half along a transverse fold line substantially perpendicular to the median folding lines to carry said intermediate part and said two side walls respectively folded in half against said rear wall.

Thus, a characteristic of the invention resides in the folding of the side walls in two towards each other and towards the inside of the display unit in order to be able to apply them folded flat against the rear wall just like the intermediate part. In this way, the display stand is folded in the sole perimeter of the rear wall over several thicknesses but in a more compact manner compared to the display stand produced according to the prior art.

Further, said back wall has at least one anchor slot, while said rear edge has at least one anchor tab adapted to engage through said at least one anchor slot. In this way, the rear edge is not only integral with the rear wall, but in addition, the mode of connection makes it possible to articulate the support element. Advantageously, the rear wall has two anchoring slots spaced apart from each other, and the rear edge has two anchoring tabs adapted to come into engagement through said two anchoring slots.

Furthermore, said intermediate part forms two isosceles trapeziums connected together by their short side. In this way, the long sides of the two trapezoids are extended respectively by the posterior edge and the opposite anterior edge. In other words, the long sides of the trapeziums extend over a distance substantially equal to the distance which separates the two opposite side walls. Therefore, thanks to this conformation, the intermediate part has two side indentations back to back, and as will be explained in more detail below, when the two side walls bend in half towards each other, they come extend into the indentations and they are not prevented by the intermediate part which also bends. Preferably, said transverse fold line extends along said short side of said isosceles trapezoids.

Preferably, said front edge is surmounted by a rim. In this way, and as will be explained below, the risk of the products deposited on the receiving shelf falling therefrom is negligible.

In addition, and according to an advantageous embodiment, the foldable display further comprises a support plate made of rigid cardboard, for example made of honeycomb cardboard, adapted to be applied to said intermediate part. In this way, the receiving tablet has a continuous surface supported by the support element.

According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, the foldable display further comprises another support element comprising on the one hand another rear edge mounted articulated on said rear wall at a distance from said one rear edge and a another opposite front edge articulated on said free edges at said distance from said one front edge, and on the other hand another intermediate part extending from said other rear edge to said other front edge.

In other words, the display unit comprises a rear wall having two side edges, and two side walls mounted respectively articulated on said two side edges and each having a free edge opposite said side edges, said two side walls being adapted to be brought opposite the one from the other. And, it also comprises at least two support elements each comprising, on the one hand a rear edge and an opposite front edge, and on the other hand an intermediate part extending from said rear edge to said front edge in order to be able to form a shelf reception ; said at least two support elements are mounted articulated on said rear wall at a determined distance from one another and they extend between the free edges of said two facing side walls. In addition, the front edges are respectively hinged on said free edges spaced apart by said determined distance, while the intermediate parts are respectively mounted hinged on the front edges; and said two side walls are adapted to be folded respectively in half towards each other along a middle fold line parallel to the side edge of said rear wall, while said intermediate parts fold respectively in half along a fold line transverse substantially perpendicular to the median fold lines to carry said intermediate parts and said two side walls respectively folded in half against said rear wall.

Therefore, the foldable display has at least two superimposed floors when it is held vertically resting on the ground, for example. It is easily understood that the foldable display unit according to the invention may comprise a plurality of superimposed levels by providing a rear wall and sufficiently long side walls and a corresponding number of support elements.

According to a particularly advantageous embodiment, said rear wall has a transverse folding line perpendicular to said two side edges, while each of said two side walls has a transverse cutting line extending in the extension of said transverse folding line by forming two half-walls.

Thus, when the foldable display has a plurality of receiving shelves, and consequently the rear wall and the side walls are long, it is advantageous to be able to fold them in half to make the foldable display more compact. In this way, between two reception shelves, the rear wall has a transverse fold line and each of the side walls has a cutting line in the extension of the transverse fold line. In this way, the rear wall can be folded into two rear half-walls applied back to back, while the two pairs of side half-walls can be folded respectively against their corresponding rear half-wall. In this way, despite the height of the display, it can be folded up compactly.

Also, advantageously, each of said two pairs of half-walls have two opposite contact edges comprising centering tongues in order to be able to center said two half-walls. In this way, when the display stand is unfolded, and the two rear half-walls are readjusted in the same plane, the two contact edges of each of the pairs of side half-walls fit perfectly edge to edge. Thus, the side walls give the impression of being continuous.

According to another object, there is proposed a method for making a foldable display stand as described above. It comprises the following steps: a first blank of rigid cardboard is provided having two opposite first blank edges and two first fold lines parallel to said two first blank edges and respectively equidistant from said two first blank edges, said first blank having furthermore at least two superimposed rectangular openings separated by a crosspiece and located between said two first fold lines, and two second fold lines extending respectively parallel between said first blank edges and said first fold lines; a second rectangular cardboard blank is provided rigid having two large articulated opposite edges and said two first blank edges are connected together to said two large edges, while said first blank folds in three along said two first fold lines; and, a third rigid cardboard blank is provided having two opposite hanging edges and a transverse fold line equidistant from said two hanging edges, and one of said hinged hanging edges is mounted on said crosspiece and the another of said hooking edges articulated on said second facing rectangular blank.

There [ Fig. 1 ] shows a first blank 10 made from a double-sided corrugated cardboard plate. In other words, the blank 10 is made from a cardboard box comprising fluted paper between two sheets of flat paper glued on each side. Such a corrugated cardboard plate is called "rigid" or else "semi-rigid", because it can be bent manually under stress.

The blank 10 has a height H close to 1.90 m and a width L substantially equal to 1.33 m. These dimensions are of course given to by way of indication in the example of the invention which will be described below. In addition, the lines shown in broken lines on the blank 10 are grooves forming fold lines, while the lines in solid lines constitute cutouts.

Thus, the first blank 10 has two first opposite edges 12, 14, along the height H, and spaced from each other by said width L. Also, it has two first fold lines 16, 18 parallel to the first two opposite edges 12, 14 and respectively equidistant from them. These fold lines 16, 18 extend over the entire height of the first blank 10, at a distance from the first opposite edges 12, 14, advantageously comprised between a quarter and a third of the width L, for example 0.28 times the width. In addition, the first blank 10 has two second fold lines 17, 19 respectively located substantially equidistant from the first opposite edges 12, 14 and the first fold lines 16, 18. Consequently, these two second fold lines 17, 19 are also called center bend lines.

Also, the first blank 10 has five transverse rectangular openings, two lower 20, 22, a central 24, and two upper 26, 28. They are regularly spaced from each other from the lower end 30 of the blank 10 to the upper end 32. These transverse rectangular openings 20, 22, 24, 26, 28 are made by removing a central piece 34 located equidistant from the first two fold lines 16, 18, and having the contours of an adjoining upper rectangle, to an inferior isosceles trapezoid by its short side. In this way, two side flaps 36, 38 are formed respectively articulated along the first two folding lines 16, 18 and a lower edge 40 articulated on a crosspiece 42 thanks to a first transverse folding line 44.

According to a variant embodiment of the invention, not shown, said central part 34 is not entirely removed so as to be able to provide two facing tabs for attachment respectively extending the two side flaps and meeting in the center. The advantage of such a variant embodiment will be explained in greater detail later in the description.

In addition, according to another variant embodiment, not shown, there are made in the lower edge 40, two contiguous slots in the extension of one another, and symmetrical to one another with respect to a straight located equidistant from the first two fold lines 16, 18.

In addition, and according to yet another alternative embodiment, not shown, the first two opposite edges 12, 14 comprise a plurality of locking tabs each having two locking tongues.

It will be observed that the first two fold lines 16, 18 are doubled so that the two side flaps 36, 38 can be folded down 180°, providing a square edge and two sharp edges.

The five transverse rectangular openings 20, 22, 24, 26, 28 are formed identically. On the other hand, the central opening 24 has in addition, in the two opposite flaps 36, 38, two recessed cutouts 46, 48 making it possible to form two indexing tongues 50, 52, and conversely in correspondence, two housings indexing 54, 56 whose function will be explained below.

In addition, the two recessed cutouts 46, 48 extend continuously and transversely to the first two opposite edges 12, 14, along a rectilinear segment 58 up to the second fold lines 17, 19, then along a curved line 60 in the form of a wave between the second fold lines 17, 19 and the first two opposite edges 12, 14.

It will be observed that the recessed cutouts 46, 48 extended by the rectilinear segment 58 and the curved line 60, contribute to dividing the first blank 10 into two parts, a first upper part 62 and a first lower part 64.

However, the two parts 62, 64 are kept attached to each other to be associated with the second blank 66 which will now be described with regard to [ Fig. 2 ].

There [ Fig. 2 ] illustrates the front view of the second blank 66, which is also made of double-sided corrugated cardboard. It is rectangular in shape and it has a width I substantially greater than the distance which extends between the first two fold lines 16, 18 of the first blank 10. In addition, its height h is substantially less than the height H of the first blank 10. The two blanks 10, 66 represented on the [ Fig. 1 ] And [ Fig. 2 ] are substantially on the same scale.

Also, the second blank 66 has two second opposite double fold lines 68, 70 extending over the entire height h of the blank 66, by delimiting two articulated opposite edges 72, 74 of a central panel which will be called the rear wall 76 in the following description.

In addition, the rear wall 76 has a transverse fold line 78 extended in the two opposite hinged edges 72, 74 by two rectilinear cutouts 80, 82.

In accordance with said one aforementioned alternative embodiment, the two opposite hinged edges 72, 74 are replaced by two sections, not shown, and also hinged on the rear wall. These two sections each have a row of orifices aligned along the center line of each of these two sections. Also, these two sections each have a fold line coincident with their center line.

Furthermore, according to said yet another alternative embodiment, not shown, there is formed in the rear panel 76, along the opposite double folding lines 68, 70, a plurality of interlocking slots spaced from each other.

It will be specified that the two opposite second double fold lines 68, 70 are separated from each other by a distance substantially equal to that which separates the first two fold lines 16, 18 of the first blank 10. the transverse fold line 78 divides the second blank 66 into a second upper part 84 and a second lower part 86; and the height of the second lower part 86 is substantially equal to the height of the first lower part 64 of the first blank 10.

De surcroît, la paroi arrière 76 présente cinq paires de fentes d'ancrage, deux paires de fentes d'ancrage 88, 90 ; 92, 94 situées dans la deuxième partie supérieure 84 et trois paires de fentes d'ancrage 96, 98 ; 100, 102 ; 104, 106 situées dans la deuxième partie inférieure 86.Additionally, rear wall 76 has five pairs of anchor slots, two pairs of anchor slots 88, 90; 92, 94 located in the second upper part 84 and three pairs of anchor slots 96, 98; 100, 102; 104, 106 located in the second lower part 86.

The five pairs of anchor slots 88, 90; 92, 94; 96, 98; 100, 102; 104, 106 are located substantially equidistant from each other and each of the pairs is located at the level of a crosspiece 42 of the first blank 10 illustrated in [ Fig. 1 ].

It will be observed that the anchoring slots of the same pair of slots are of the same length and that they extend along a line perpendicular to the two opposite second double folding lines 68, 70 respectively at the same distance from its second double lines 68, 70.

Thus, the two blanks 10, 66 as represented respectively on the [ Fig. 1 ] And [ Fig. 2 ] are assembled with each other by gluing. To do this, the first blank 10 as shown in [ Fig. 1 ] is folded in three along the first two fold lines 16, 18 so as to fold two opposite side walls 108, 110 backwards at substantially 90° with respect to a front wall 112. The first two opposite edges 12, 14 of the first blank 10 are then glued against the rear of the two opposite hinged edges 72, 74 of the second blank 66. A closed cylindrical assembly with a rectangular base is thus obtained.

It will be observed that the two opposite side walls 108, 110, thanks to the cutting of the rectilinear segment 58 of the curved line 60, form two pairs of side half-walls, an upper pair 109 of half-side walls and a lower pair 111.

Also, the two aforementioned blanks 10, 66 can be assembled together without adhesive, according to said one variant embodiment and said yet another variant embodiment as follows.

The two opposite sides are folded towards each other substantially at 90° relative to the rear wall, while the first side is folded in three along the first two fold lines 16, 18 so as to fold two side walls opposite towards the rear at substantially 90° against the two opposite sides. And the locking tabs are then engaged through the corresponding locking slots in order to secure the two blanks together. In this way, a closed cylindrical assembly with a rectangular base is obtained.

In addition, the two side flaps are folded backwards, while the hooking tabs are engaged respectively through the holes aligned with said rows of orifices. In this way, the side flaps are integral with the two opposite sides.

We will now refer to the [ Fig. 3 ] illustrating a third blank 114 adapted to be installed in five copies in the aforementioned assembly to form five support elements.

Thus, this third blank 114 has two opposite attachment edges, a front edge 116 and a rear edge 118 substantially parallel to each other and located at a distance, one from the other, substantially equal to the width of the two opposite side walls 108, 110 illustrated in [ Fig. 1 ]. In addition, the opposite hooking edges 116, 118 have a width substantially equal to the width of the rear wall 76 shown in [ Fig. 2 ].

In addition, the third blank 114 has two opposite notches 120, 122 back to back, and provided from one of said fastening edges 116 to the other 118. Also, it has a double transverse fold line 124 provided substantially equidistant from said hooking edges 116, 118. In other words, the double transverse fold line 124 extends in the maximum constriction zone of the third blank 114.

The front hooking edge 116 is hinged by means of a front fold line 126. In contrast, the rear edge 118 has two tabs 128, 130 spaced apart from each other. Each of the tabs 128, 130 has two side tabs 132, 134 bendable.

The tabs 128, 130 and the two foldable side tabs 132, 134 respectively form two anchoring tabs.

It will be observed that the width of the tabs 128, 130 is substantially less than that of the anchoring slots of the five pairs of anchoring slots 88, 90; 92, 94; 96, 98; 100, 102; 104, 106. Moreover, the centers of the two tabs 128, 130 are located at a distance equal to those of the anchoring slots.

Par ailleurs, selon ladite autre variante de réalisation, la bordure d'accrochage antérieure 116 est remplacée par deux autres onglets d'accrochage, non représentés et sensiblement opposés aux deux onglets 128, 130.Furthermore, according to said other variant embodiment, the front attachment edge 116 is replaced by two other attachment tabs, not shown and substantially opposite the two tabs 128, 130.

Before describing the assembly of the third blank 114 with the aforementioned cylindrical assembly formed by the two other blanks 10, 66, reference will be made to [ Fig. 1 ] to describe a particularly advantageous embodiment. Indeed, for stiffening purposes, reinforcement panels, not shown, are glued to the rear of the first blank 10, in the areas located between the first fold lines 16, 18 and the second fold lines 17, 19. Otherwise said, four reinforcement panels are glued in these areas. Two lower reinforcement panels are glued in the areas of the first lower part 64, from the lower end 30 to the straight cut segment 58. And two upper reinforcement panels are glued in the zones of the first lower part, from the rectilinear cut segment 58 to above the last transverse rectangular opening 28. Also, the two side flaps 36, 38 are folded and glued against the reinforcement panels by releasing the transverse rectangular openings 20, 22, 24, 26, 28. These then define two opposite free edges of the two opposite side walls 108, 110.

Then, five copies of the third blank 114 can be installed inside the aforementioned cylindrical assembly.

On décrira ce mode d'installation en regard des [Fig. 1], [Fig. 2] et [Fig. 3], et en particulier à hauteur de la dernière ouverture rectangulaire transversale 28.This mode of installation will be described with regard to [ Fig. 1 ], [ Fig. 2] and [Fig. 3 ], and in particular at the height of the last transverse rectangular opening 28.

Thus, the front hooking edge 116 of the third blank 114 is sandwiched between the rear of the crosspiece 42 and the lower edge 40 folded at 180° towards the inside of the cylindrical assembly. The hooking edge 116 is glued between the crosspiece 42 and the lower edge 40 folded.

On the other hand, the rear attachment edge 118 is mounted articulated on the second facing rectangular blank 66, and more precisely on the rear wall 76 by engaging the two tabs 130, 128 through the anchoring slots 88, 90 the upper pair of the two pairs of anchor slots 88, 90; 92, 94 of the second upper part 84 of the second blank 66. To engage the tabs 130, 128 in the two anchoring slots 88, 90, the first step is to fold the side tabs 132, 134 upwards. center of the tabs 130, 128. Then then, when the tabs 130, 128 come to extend projecting at the rear of the rear wall 76, side tabs 132, 134 are unfolded opposite the rear face of the rear wall 76, outside the anchoring slots 88, 90 so as to prevent the removal of the tabs 130, 128. In this way, the rear hooking edge 118 is engaged in the rear wall 76 opposite the crosspiece 42. And moreover, it is articulated on this rear wall 76 along a folding line defined by the anchoring slots 88, 90.

Also, the four other crosspieces 42 defined by the other four transverse rectangular openings 20, 22, 24, 26 are similarly equipped with a third blank 114, and connected to the rear wall 76 via the four other pairs anchor slots 92, 94; 96, 98; 100, 102; 104, 106.

Thus, the third blanks 114 each make it possible to produce a support element comprising a front edge formed by the crosspiece 42, the front hooking edge 116 and the lower edge 40 folded against it, and opposite a posterior edge formed thanks to the posterior hooking edge 118 engaged in the rear wall 76. Also, the third blanks 114 define an intermediate part extending from the posterior edge to the anterior edge by forming two isosceles trapeziums 113, 115 connected together by their short sides.

Also, it will be observed that the crosspiece 42 also makes it possible to produce a rim surmounting the front edge. We will find below on the [ Fig. 6 ], the support element and its front edge surmounted by its rim.

According to said other aforementioned alternative embodiment, the two other attachment tabs of the front attachment edge of the third blank are respectively engaged through the two contiguous slots made in the lower edge 40. In this way, the two other tabs of 'hooking come into engagement in the two contiguous slots and are sandwiched between the rear of the crosspiece and the lower edge folded 180 ° inwardly of the cylindrical assembly. It is then here, no need for adhesive.

Thus, it will be observed that said aforementioned alternative embodiment, said another alternative embodiment and said yet another alternative embodiment, make it possible to create a foldable display without adhesive. The elements are indeed linked together by mechanical links.

Also, the [ Fig. 4 ] illustrates a rectangular cardboard backing plate 136. This support plate 136 has a length substantially equal to the distance separating the first two fold lines 16, 18 of the first blank 10, and a width substantially equal to the width of the two opposite side walls 108, 110 of the first blank 10. The support plate 136 can be made of corrugated cardboard, double-sided for example. It can also be made in a more rigid cardboard, for example a honeycomb cardboard.

De la sorte, la plaque d'appui 136 est insérée à l'intérieur de l'ensemble cylindrique précité et en applique sur ladite partie intermédiaire définie par le troisième flan 114.In this way, the support plate 136 is inserted inside the aforementioned cylindrical assembly and bears against said intermediate part defined by the third blank 114.

There [ Fig. 5 ] illustrates a foldable display 138 thus produced, in an unfolded state. We find in this figure the rear wall 76 and its transverse folding line 78 as well as the two opposite side walls facing each other 108, 110.

There are also the two first fold lines 16, 18, delimiting the two free edges 107, and the second fold lines 17, 19 of the first blank 10 substantially parallel to each other. Also, we see in the figure, the cutout of the straight segment 58 and the curved line 60 in the form of a wave on the outer face of the side wall 110. The cutout of the straight segment 58 of the other side wall 108 is here hidden . On the other hand, appears inside, the recessed cutout 46 of this last side wall extended by the curved line cutout 60. The other recessed cutout 48 is hidden here. The recessed cutout 46 makes it possible to form the indexing tongue 50, or centering tongue, and the corresponding indexing housing 54 in which it engages. Thus, such an arrangement allows the perfectly centered adjustment of the two side half-walls respectively of the two pairs of side half-walls 109, 111. In addition, the curved line cutout 60 also contributes to this centering.

In addition, and according to a particularly advantageous embodiment, the indexing tongues 50, 52 are provided inside with a double-sided adhesive so as to be able to make them integral with the reinforcement panels lower located in the areas of the first lower part. Thanks to this embodiment, the upper and lower parts are held together. Thus, the two pairs of side half-walls 109, 111 appear as forming two opposite side walls 108, 110 which are perfectly continuous.

Also, and according to a preferred embodiment, the indexing housings are U-shaped with a greater depth than that of the housings 54, 56 illustrated in [ Fig. 1 ], while the corresponding indexing tabs are longer. In this way, it is possible to dispense with the use of an adhesive because the indexing tabs thus elongated, engaged in the U-shaped indexing housings, provide mechanical locking of the upper and lower parts.

Furthermore, it will be observed that bearing plates 136, of the type shown in [ Fig. 4 ], were inserted inside the cylindrical assembly and applied to the intermediate part of the support element. In this way, the products which it is desired to promote can be presented and placed on the support element. It will be observed that the rim protects these products from their occasional fall.

An advantage of the foldable display 138 according to the invention resides in its mode of re-folding which makes it possible to obtain a compact element despite its dimensions when it is unfolded.

Ainsi, à partir du présentoir 138 représenté sur la [Fig. 5], on vient retirer tout d'abord les plaques d'appui 136.Thus, from the display 138 shown in [ Fig. 5 ], we first remove the support plates 136.

Then, the indexing tabs 50, 52 are unstuck so as to be able to release the half-walls of the two pairs 109, 111. Then the upper part is tilted rearward around the transverse fold line 78 of the rear wall 76. The two parts 86, 84 of the rear wall 76 which the transverse fold line 78 divides are then brought back to back.

Simultanément, les parties intermédiaires se plient selon la double ligne de pliage transverse 124 du troisième flan 114.Then, one proceeds for each of the upper and lower parts, folding in two towards each other of the side half-walls along the second folding lines 17, 19. Simultaneously, the intermediate parts fold along the double line of transverse folding 124 of the third blank 114.

On retrouve également les premières lignes de pliage 16, 18.We will now refer to the [ Fig. 6 ] partially showing the upper part of the display 138 when it folds and for purposes of understanding the mode of folding. Thus, we find the second fold lines 17, 19, or median fold lines, which extend beyond the display for a better understanding. There are also the first fold lines 16, 18.

Also, the [ Fig. 6 ] shows two support elements 140 at a distance from each other and comprising two front edges 142, surmounted respectively by a flange 144, and two opposite rear edges 146 articulated on the rear wall 76. As indicated above , the front edges 142 result from the assembly of the crosspieces 42, the front fastening edge here hidden and the lower edge 40 folded against it.

There are also the intermediate parts comprising respectively the two isosceles trapezoids 113, 115, which are separated from each other by the transverse folding line 124. Thus, when the two opposite side walls 108, 110 fold in two l towards each other along the second fold lines 17, 19, they approach each other along the arrows R, T, while the intermediate parts also fold. The two isosceles trapezoids 113, 115 of the intermediate parts fold relative to each other along the transverse fold line 124, and respectively relative to the rim 144 and to the rear wall 76.
It will be observed that the two opposite side walls 108, 110 are allowed to bend into the cutouts 120, 122 of the intermediate parts.

On obtient ainsi un pliage compact de la partie supérieure du présentoir 138.By continuing the approaching movement of the two opposite side walls 108, 110, as illustrated in [ Fig. 7 ], they fold in two on top of each other and come to rest flat against the rear wall 76, just like the intermediate parts consisting of the two isosceles trapezoids 113, 115. A compact folding of the part is thus obtained. top of display 138.

Also, it is understood that the lower part of the display 138 is folded in the same way on the back of the rear wall 76.

The example described here with regard to [ Fig. 1 ], [ Fig. 2 ] And [ Fig. 5 ], aiming to form five reception shelves is for illustrative purposes.

Of course, it is possible to provide a foldable display according to the invention having fewer shelves, or even more reception shelves and, foldable in two parts or not.

In addition, the compact folding of the display stand 138 is described above. Conversely, unfolding is just as easy and quick.
