Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a panel for a kitchen furniture with a panel and a holder connected thereto.
  • the kitchen furniture is usually supported against a floor using height-adjustable supports, so that after assembly a gap remains between the lower part of the actual body and the floor.
  • This gap is closed at the front via a panel with a panel.
  • the panel usually has a C-shaped claw that can be placed around the support and through which the panel is held on the kitchen furniture.
  • a cladding with the generic features from claim 1 is out DE 20 2012 100 405 U1 or known from SI 1 362 530 T1.
  • the holder has several receiving grooves on its front for slats, which are inserted into the front of the holder in order to cover the front of the kitchen furniture in an aesthetically pleasing manner.
  • the present invention particularly aims to provide a cladding for professional catering that is aesthetically pleasing, meets the local hygienic requirements and can be produced economically.
  • the present invention proposes a cladding for a kitchen furniture having the features of claim 1.
  • the cladding has a cover in a manner known per se.
  • This panel is usually designed to be continuous in front of the kitchen furniture.
  • the cover usually consists of a sheet of metal, preferably stainless steel or galvanized steel.
  • the cover is usually processed or manufactured by punching and bending. becomes
  • the panel itself has an aesthetically pleasing design and meets the hygienic requirements in a professional kitchen in the catering industry.
  • the holder which is usually designed as a rectangular plate, is slidably guided in a guide.
  • the guide has overhangs opposite each other.
  • overhangs are those areas of the panel that extend essentially parallel to a floor or a front surface of the panel, but are spaced backwards towards the floor.
  • the bottom of a sheet metal is formed by the back surface of the front.
  • these overhangs are spaced from the floor via webs, which are also referred to below as the base of the overhang.
  • the floor is usually arranged parallel to the overhangs, whereas the respective base to the overhang extends at right angles between the floor and the associated overhang.
  • One of the overhangs hereinafter referred to as the first overhang, protrudes only slightly beyond the bracket.
  • the thickness of the holder is accordingly slightly smaller than the distance from an inner surface of the first overhang provided opposite the floor to the floor, so that the holder located between the first overhang and the floor is held with little play in the longitudinal direction of the overhang and thus in the main extension direction of the panel is and can be moved.
  • the opposite overhang referred to below as the second overhang, is at a greater distance from the ground and also projects at a greater distance beyond the holder, the plate of which usually has a uniform thickness.
  • the length of the bracket corresponds approximately to the distance of a free end of the first overhang from a base of the second overhang.
  • the holder can just be pivoted out of the sliding guide and thus past the free end of the first overhang.
  • the distance of the second overhang from the floor is selected so that the pivoting movement of the holder is permitted within a second height provided between the floor and the second overhang.
  • the solution according to the invention offers the advantage that the panel can be produced as part of metal processing by punching and bending, whereas the holder, for example as a plastic component, can first be manufactured separately and then connected to the panel. It is also easily possible to replace a damaged bracket.
  • the panel as such has clean ends formed by the respective base and the overhang at least on the top and bottom, i.e. parallel to its longitudinal edges, which in the assembled state extend parallel to the floor.
  • at least one end overhang can be provided, preferably two of these overhangs are provided, on the one hand to limit the movability of the holder to the area of the panel, and on the other hand to also create a clean finish at the front of the panel.
  • This end overhang extends between the first and second overhangs. It is preferably firmly connected to the second overhang, for example glued, welded and soldered.
  • the second overhang and the end overhang are preferably cut for fermentation and cleanly connected to one another, so that a flat, straight, step-free sheet metal surface is obtained, which is usually formed by two end overhangs and the second overhang running between them.
  • a flat, straight, step-free sheet metal surface is obtained, which is usually formed by two end overhangs and the second overhang running between them.
  • the base plate is usually an injection molded plate of uniform thickness. To save material, the plate can have recesses. It is usually reinforced with a surrounding edge that increases the flexural rigidity of the base plate.
  • at least two, usually exactly two, pins are usually provided, each of which is provided with an internal thread, in each of which a screw is threadedly engaged. This screw is fastened with one of the claws.
  • the claw is rotatably attached to a free end of the screw so that the claw can assume any relative axial orientation to the screw.
  • the claw is usually fixed axially relative to the screw, so that this alignment of the claw relative to the screw does not lead to a change in the distance between the claw and the base plate.
  • the screw is preferably a grub screw, which can have functional surfaces for a screwdriver or an Allen key on its free end connected to the claw.
  • the free end of the screw usually has a circumferentially recessed groove with which the claw is locked.
  • the Figure 1 shows a panel 2 with two holders, generally marked with reference number 4, which are guided to be displaceable within limits at opposite ends. This makes it possible to adapt the position of the brackets 4 to the position of supports that are to be covered with the cladding.
  • the fastening is based on the previously known in that claws 6 of the holders 4 grip around the respective supports.
  • the claws are over an in Figure 4 screw 8 shown is fastened to a base plate 10, which for this purpose has two pins 12 arranged one behind the other in its longitudinal direction, which corresponds to the height direction of the cover 2, each of which is provided with an internal thread into which the screw 8 is in threaded engagement.
  • the screw 8 has slots 14 at its opposite ends for the engagement of screwdrivers.
  • the left end of the screw 8 has a slightly recessed groove 18 over a ring 16, which delimits the threads of the screw 8, which is designed to accommodate a hole within the claw 6.
  • the free end 14 of the screw 8 provided there has locking surfaces 20 which, after the claw 6 has been pressed on, lock with the convex inner surface of the claw 6 and accordingly hold the claw 6 in a form-fitting manner relative to the screw 8.
  • the screw 8 can be screwed on both sides through the axially extending slots at both ends of the screw.
  • the pins 12 are also open on the underside of the base plate 10, so that the position of the screw 08 in the pin 12 can be changed here if necessary using a screwdriver.
  • the holder 4 is guided to be displaceable within limits in a guide 28 explained in more detail below.
  • the base plate 10 has a circumferential edge 22 surrounding the outer circumference, which projects beyond the base of the base plate 10, which is designed with a smaller thickness. This edge 22 determines the thickness of the base plate 10. This thickness is exceeded by the two pins 12 and the claws 6. Between the pins 12 and the longitudinal edges of the base plate 10 there are longitudinal slots 24, through which material can be saved in the manufacture of the holder 4.
  • a first overhang 30 is formed by punching and bending the sheet material forming the panel 2 on one long side, in this case the lower long side, which is supported relative to a base section 34 via a first base 32.
  • a second overhang marked with reference number 36, which is connected to the base section 34 via a second base 38.
  • the base section 34 forms a floor 40 on the inside and a veneer surface 42 on the opposite outside.
  • the panel 2 is made of stainless steel.
  • the panel 2 is manufactured solely by punching and bending.
  • Figure 2 clarifies the relative dimensions of the holder 4, in particular its base plate 10 on the one hand, and the overhangs 30, 36.
  • the overhangs 30, 36 are directed towards one another. In this direction, the first overhang 30 is shorter than the second overhang 36.
  • the distance between the free end of the first overhang 30 and a lower free edge surface 44 of the aperture 2 is approximately 8mm.
  • the distance from an upper edge surface 46 to the free end of the second overhang 36 is approximately 15mm.
  • the length of the first overhang 30 is therefore approximately half the length of the second overhang 36.
  • the height of the first overhang 20 above the floor 40 is chosen so that the base plate 10 with its peripheral edge 22 can be arranged just below the first overhang 30.
  • the height distance between the floor 40 and the second overhang 36 is greater.
  • the figure shows a position in which the base plate 10 rests against the inner surface of the second base section 38.
  • a play of a few tenths of a millimeter, marked with reference number S remains between the lower end of the base plate 10 and the free end of the first overhang 30. This is enough to be in the in Figure 2 position shown to swing the holder 10 out of the guide formed by the two overhangs 30, 36.
  • the height-wise distance between the second overhang 36 and the floor 40 is chosen so that this pivoting movement is just permitted in the corresponding free space.
  • the dimensioning in the longitudinal direction of the holder 4 is usually chosen so that the base plate 10 is in contact with both the free end of the first overhang 30 and the inner surface of the second when pivoting Base section 38 is in contact. This tight tolerance prevents the holder 4 from accidentally falling out of the guide.
  • the Figure 2 also shows an end overhang marked with reference number 48, which is provided at the same height as the second overhang 36 and is located at the front ends of the panel 2 (see also Figure 1 ).
