Definitions

  • the invention relates to a piece of furniture with a furniture body that has two opposite body side walls and with at least one pair of guide units for guiding a movable furniture part, in particular a drawer, in the furniture body, wherein the body side walls each have at least one mounting interface that has at least two fastening holes arranged one behind the other in a side wall depth direction, to which the guide units of the pair are fastened opposite each other, wherein the body side walls each have at least two protrusions arranged one above the other in a side wall height direction to increase their rigidity, wherein the protrusions are raised on the inside of the respective body side wall and wherein at least one mounting interface is arranged in the side wall height direction between adjacent protrusions, wherein the at least one mounting interface is recessed in a groove-like manner relative to the protrusions and has a mounting surface having the fastening holes and wherein several mounting interfaces are provided, each of which is arranged between two protrusions arranged adjacently in the side wall height direction.
  • a piece of furniture of this type is, for example, from the FR2.204.959 A5
  • the furniture described there has a furniture body with two opposing side walls, on the inside of which a link structure is formed which extends inwards from the rest of the side wall and has several rail profiles lying one above the other in the vertical direction.
  • a guide unit can be fastened between two rail profiles lying adjacent to each other in the vertical direction using fastening holes.
  • the JP 2002 017486 A1 or the FR2204959 A5 discloses a guide structure for a drawer, with two opposing side walls made of metal material or plastic, which has a plurality of fastening interfaces for fastening a body rail of a guide unit.
  • Every household has several pieces of furniture with furniture bodies in which drawers are movably guided.
  • the drawers are guided by guide units, one of which is attached to the left side wall of the furniture body and another to the right side wall opposite.
  • the furniture bodies can be made of wood or metal. Since drawers are quite heavy, especially when loaded, the attachment of the associated guide units to the side walls must also be designed in such a way that the weight of the drawer is reliably supported. This requires the side walls of the furniture body to be sufficiently stable, so thin plywood panels, for example, are not suitable for such side walls.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to create a piece of furniture of the type mentioned at the outset which, compared to furniture from the prior art, requires less installation space overall and is aesthetically pleasing, particularly with regard to the design of the side walls.
  • the furniture according to the invention according to claim 1 is characterized in that the groove-like recessed mounting interfaces are each connected to one another at their front and rear sides located in the side wall depth direction via a vertical groove, such that a ladder-like structure is formed.
  • the features increase the rigidity of the side walls, so that their wall thickness can be significantly lower than in the state of the art, while still allowing the guide units to be reliably attached to the side wall.
  • a finished body with side walls designed in this way is lighter than conventional finished bodies.
  • the side walls with lower wall thickness have a significant influence on the aesthetics.
  • Another aspect that should not be neglected is that the mounting interfaces for connecting the guide units are arranged in the side wall height direction between adjacent features. The clear width of the furniture body, which is available for mounting the guide units, is therefore not affected by the features.
  • this solution allows a movable furniture part, in particular a drawer, to be used with a larger width and thus, in the case of a drawer, more storage space.
  • the fastening holes of the mounting interfaces are designed for tool-free mounting of the guide units on the body side walls. It is possible, for example, for the fastening holes to be designed like a keyhole as part of a bayonet connection. An alternative tool-free fastening can be achieved by means of a clip connection, whereby, for example, clip elements arranged on the guide units could be clipped into the fastening holes.
  • non-tool-free assembly is also possible, for example by means of a screw connection.
  • the guide unit has a body rail and at least one guide rail that is guided in a linearly movable manner on the body rail, wherein the body rail is fastened to the associated mounting interface on the body side wall.
  • the body rail can have several fastening angles arranged one behind the other in the longitudinal direction of the rail or a single continuous long fastening angle for fastening it in the area of the associated Mounting interface on the cabinet side wall.
  • several guide rails are provided, of which one guide rail is a pull-out rail and another rail is a middle rail.
  • the middle rail is inserted between the cabinet rail and the pull-out rail and is guided in a linear manner both in relation to the pull-out rail and in relation to the cabinet rail.
  • the combination of cabinet rail, middle rail and pull-out rail is also referred to as full extension.
  • the at least one mounting interface is recessed in a groove-like manner relative to the features and has a mounting surface having the fastening holes.
  • mounting interfaces are provided, each of which is arranged between two adjacent features in the side wall height direction. It is therefore possible for the furniture body to have several movable furniture parts lying one above the other, for example drawers, which are each attached to the associated body side walls via mounting interfaces and associated fastening holes, wherein the mounting interfaces are each arranged between features on the body side wall.
  • the groove-like recessed mounting interfaces are each connected to one another at their front and rear sides in the side wall depth direction via a vertical groove in such a way that a ladder-like structure is formed.
  • the fastening holes of a respective mounting interface are divided into several hole groups which each have a number of fastening holes arranged in a common height plane in the side wall depth direction, with the hole groups being arranged one above the other in the side wall height direction.
  • the arrangement of the fastening holes in hole groups offers the advantage that the guide unit to be fastened can be adjusted in the height direction and depth direction and that pairs of aligned fastening holes and assembly holes can always be found on the side of the guide unit, even in different adjustment positions.
  • the body side walls are designed as sheet metal components, in particular sheet metal components. It is possible, for example, to design the body side walls as thin sheet metal components.
  • the material thickness of such side walls is less than 3 mm, preferably 0.5 to 1.5 mm, in particular 0.7 mm to 1 mm.
  • the body side walls can have a wall thickness in the range of 4 mm to 30 mm, preferably 6 mm to 19 mm, in particular 8 mm to 16 mm.
  • the furniture has at least one movable furniture part, in particular a drawer, which is guided in the furniture body by means of a pair of guide units.
  • movable furniture parts are also conceivable, for example a furniture pull-out not designed as a drawer or a furniture flap.
  • At least one of the body side walls has holding means for holding an electrical line.
  • At least one electrical line for example a power cable, is expediently held on the holding means.
  • the body side walls it is possible for the body side walls to have at least one opening for the passage of an electrical line. At least one electrical line is expediently led through the associated opening.
  • the furniture has a base and a rear wall, which are each connected to the body side walls by means of fastening means, wherein the fastening means are preferably designed for tool-free fastening of the body side walls, base and rear wall to one another.
  • the fastening means have claw elements formed in particular on the body side walls, which claw into the material, in particular wood material, of the floor and/or the rear wall.
  • a furniture body produced in this way is expediently a hybrid component, with body side walls made of metal and the floor and rear wall made of wood.
  • At least one of the body side walls has at least one cavity in which electrical functional components, in particular electrical cables and/or at least one lighting element for illuminating the movable furniture part are accommodated.
  • the body side walls have a coating for sound reduction, particularly on their outside.
  • the body side walls prefferably screwed to the top with wooden cross profiles, preferably clipped with a steel angle to ensure a suitable body width.
  • the body side walls can each have locking and quick-connection elements for connecting other furniture bodies.
  • the locking and quick-connection elements can, for example, be integrated into the associated body side walls, preferably as a metal and/or plastic part that can be clipped on or as a metal and/or plastic part that can be screwed onto the associated body side wall.
  • the Figures 1 to 8 show a preferred embodiment of a piece of furniture 11 according to the invention.
  • the piece of furniture can be used as kitchen furniture in the kitchen area or as office furniture in an office.
  • the piece of furniture 11 according to the invention comprises, in an exemplary manner, A movable furniture part 12 ( Figure 3 ), which is shown here as an example in the form of a drawer.
  • a movable furniture part 12 Figure 3
  • other movable furniture parts 12 as drawers, for example differently designed furniture pull-outs. In the following, however, the invention can be explained using the example of a drawer.
  • the furniture 11 has a furniture body 13, which in the example shown has two opposite body side walls 14a, 14b.
  • the furniture body 13 also has a base 15, which is connected to the two body side walls 14a, 14b in a manner explained in more detail below and keeps the two body side walls 14a, 14b at a distance from each other.
  • an upper closure is provided, which is shown by way of example in the form of two cross profiles 16a, 16b, which are each connected on the one hand to one and on the other hand to the other body side wall 14a, 14b.
  • an upper cover plate is certainly conceivable, for example in the case that the furniture is a roll container, which then has such an upper cover plate as a uniformly handled piece of furniture.
  • the furniture body 13 can have a rear wall (not shown) which forms the rear end of the furniture 12.
  • the two body side walls 14a, 14b, the base 15 and the two cross profiles 16a, 16b define an interior space 17 in which several drawers are accommodated in a manner explained in more detail below and are each movably guided by means of guide units 18.
  • guide units 18 it is possible, for example, for five drawers lying one above the other in a side wall height direction 19 to be accommodated in the interior space 17 of the furniture 11.
  • An essential aspect of the invention is the connection of the guide units 18 to the associated body side walls 14a, 14b.
  • a pair of guide units 18 is provided for guiding a drawer, wherein the body side walls 14a, 14b each have at least one mounting interface 20a, 20b, which have at least two fastening holes 22 arranged one behind the other in a side wall depth direction 21, to which the guide units 18 of the pair are fastened opposite one another.
  • the furniture 11 according to the invention has body side walls 14a, 14b with a relatively thin wall thickness.
  • this results in a weight reduction compared to conventional furniture and, on the other hand, such furniture with relatively thin-walled body side walls 14a, 14b also meets increased design requirements, which are often encountered today.
  • the body side walls 14a, 14b each have at least two protrusions 23 arranged one above the other in the side wall height direction 19 to increase their rigidity, wherein the protrusions 23 are raised on the inner side 24 of the respective body side wall 14a, 14b and are arranged between adjacent protrusions 23 in the side wall height direction 19 at at least one mounting interface 20a, 20b.
  • the mounting interfaces 20a, 20b are arranged between two adjacent protrusions 23 in the side wall height direction 19, the inwardly raised protrusions 23 do not impair the installation space available for guiding the drawer.
  • the body side walls 14a, 14b are designed as sheet metal components, in particular sheet metal components. It is possible, for example, to form the features 23 from a flat, level-arranged raw sheet metal part by means of an embossing or punching process. All features can expediently be formed using an embossing or punching process.
  • sheet metal components made of thin sheet metal, in particular thin steel sheet metal are provided as body side walls 14a, 14b.
  • the wall thickness of such thin sheet metal body side walls is less than 3 mm, preferably 0.5 mm to 1.5 mm, in particular 0.7 mm to 1 mm.
  • the mounting interfaces 20a, 20b according to the invention are groove-like compared to the features 23 recessed and have a mounting surface 25 having the fastening holes 22.
  • the groove-like recessed mounting interfaces 20a, 20b are each connected to one another at their front side 26 and rear side 27 lying in the side wall depth direction via a vertical groove 28 in such a way that a ladder-like structure is formed.
  • the mounting interfaces 20a, 20b are extended on their front side 26 beyond the vertical channel by a channel section 29 which is relatively short in the side wall depth direction and which ends at the front edge of the body side walls 14a, 14b.
  • the guide units 18 for guiding the drawer are attached to the mounting interfaces 20a, 20b.
  • the furniture is equipped with three drawers lying one above the other in the side wall height direction 19, with three pairs of guide units being provided, one pair of which is used to guide a drawer.
  • the guide units 18 of a pair are attached to opposite mounting interfaces 20a, 20b of one and the other body side wall 14a, 14b.
  • the associated mounting interfaces 20a, 20b are therefore located at the same height as the associated body side walls 14a, 14b.
  • only the attachment of one guide unit 18 of a guide unit pair is described, with the attachment of the opposite other guide unit taking place in the same way to the associated body side wall 14a, 14b.
  • the guide units 18 may be so-called standard guide units, i.e. a modification the guide units 18 for the purpose of fastening to the associated mounting interface 20a, 20b is not necessary.
  • a respective guide unit 18 has a body rail 30 and at least one guide rail 31 which is guided linearly movably on the body rail 30, wherein the body rail is fastened to the associated mounting interface 20a, 20b on the body side wall 14a, 14b.
  • two guide rails 31 are provided, of which only one is shown, one of the guide rails 31 being a drawer rail, which in turn is connected to the drawer via corresponding coupling means, and a middle rail (not shown) arranged between the drawer rail and the body rail 30 and movably guided relative to these two rails.
  • a middle rail (not shown) arranged between the drawer rail and the body rail 30 and movably guided relative to these two rails.
