Claims (6)

  1. Baling press (1) for compacting goods (2), in particular waste material made of cardboard, leaves or grass, to form a bale (3) sheathed with at least one wire loop (7),
    consisting of:
    - a baling press housing (8) in which an opening (13) is incorporated for introducing the material (2) to be pressed and in the interior of which a pressing chamber (9) is provided,
    - a ram (10) which is mounted in the baling press housing (8) so as to be axially movable and extends adjacent to the opening (13) and by means of which, together with the baling press housing (8) and a door (11), the pressing chamber (9) is closed,
    - and at least one wire (6) which has a predetermined length and can be inserted into
    the baling press housing (8) and the ram (10) to form the wire loop (7),
    a packaging device (21) being provided for introducing the wire (6) into the interior of the baling press housing (8) and the ram (10) by means of the packaging device (21),
    the wire (6) being inserted into and guided out of the baling press housing (8) through at least one opening (22) incorporated into the door (11), characterized in that the separated wire (6) is stored separately in a magazine in the form of a drum (26),
    the drum (26) is arranged at an inclined angle α on the upper face of the baling press housing (8) and in that the relevant wire (6) can be transported out of the drum (26) in the direction of the baling press housing (8) by means of the drive unit (23),
    and in that the drum (26) can be rotated about the longitudinal axis thereof and the relevant shaft (27) incorporated into the drum (26) can be moved and oriented in alignment with the drive unit (23).
  2. Baling press according to claim 1,
    characterized in that
    the packaging device (21) consists of a drive unit (23) which receives the wire (6) and/or a tensioning unit (24) which receives the wire (6) pushed out of the baling press housing (8), and in that the two free ends (12', 12") of the wire (6) are coupled and fixed to one another in the manner of a loop or knot by means of the tensioning unit (24).
  3. Baling press according to claim 2,
    characterized in that
    a first of the free ends (12') of the wire (6) is held in a positionally oriented manner by the drive unit (23) and the second free end (12") of the wire (6) is moved to the first free end (12') of the wire (6) by the tensioning unit (24).
  4. Baling press according to any of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    at least one U-shaped guide channel is provided in the baling press housing (8) and the ram (10) and in that the first free end (12') of the wire (6) is introduced into the relevant guide channel by the drive unit (23).
  5. Baling press according to any of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    the drive unit (23) consists of at least two drive rollers (25), between which the wire (6) is introduced and moved by said drive rollers in the direction of the baling press housing (8), and in that the tensioning unit (24) is designed as a threaded spindle, by means of which the first free end (12') of the wire (6) is received, tensioned around the bale (3), and twisted or twined about the longitudinal axis of the wire (6).
  6. Baling press according to any of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    one or two guide rods (15) extending in parallel with one another is or are attached to the outside of the door (11), on which guide rods the drive unit (23) or the tensioning unit (24) is movably mounted such that the drive unit (23) or the tensioning unit (24) is oriented in alignment with the relevant opening (22) incorporated in the door (11).
