Definitions

  • the invention relates to a motor vehicle lock, in particular a motor vehicle door lock, with a locking mechanism consisting essentially of a rotary latch and a pawl, furthermore with a drive for the locking mechanism, and with an internal actuating clutch lever and an external actuating clutch lever.
  • the drive for the locking mechanism is generally used to open the locking mechanism electrically.
  • An inside actuating lever chain is provided for receiving an actuation of an inside handle and converting it to control the drive for opening the locking mechanism. This can be implemented, for example, in such a way that when the inside handle is actuated via a lever, a switch is actuated, with the aid of which the drive is actuated. Other implementations, for example the inner handle as a sensor with a connected control unit, are of course also possible.
  • the internal control lever chain can be interrupted or closed with the help of the internal control clutch lever.
  • the functional position "anti-theft” corresponds to the fact that both the inside operating lever chain and the outside operating lever chain are interrupted.
  • the external control lever chain and the internal control lever chain can be closed or open, i.e. unlocked or locked.
  • the motor vehicle lock in question and in particular the motor vehicle door lock is equipped with a drive for the locking mechanism and can therefore be "electrically opened"
  • the previously specified functional positions can also be activated electrically or mechanically in conjunction with associated and likewise implemented door handle switches. represent electronically.
  • the functional status "child-proof” corresponds to the fact that in this case a door handle switch or sensor in general associated with an inside handle is inoperative, while the motor vehicle door in question can be opened via an outside handle and the door handle switch implemented there or in general a door handle sensor.
  • TCR temporary crash redundancy
  • a first and a second clutch lever are realized.
  • an inside actuating lever can be coupled to a release lever for loading the locking mechanism.
  • a second clutch lever can be acted upon with the aid of an actuating lever.
  • the actuating lever can also be designed as an external actuating lever. In this way, different functional positions such as anti-theft and childproofing can be implemented. In this case, at least one drive unit is already omitted, so that an overall lighter and more compact construction is observed.
  • the invention is based on the technical problem of further developing such a motor vehicle lock and in particular a motor vehicle door lock with an electric opening drive in such a way that it can be flexibly adapted to different operating conditions, in particular with regard to mechanical emergency operation.
  • a generic motor vehicle lock and in particular a motor vehicle door lock is characterized within the scope of the invention in that both clutch levers—preferably in emergency mode—can be actuated independently of one another by the drive.
  • the two clutch levers ie both the inside actuation clutch lever and the outside actuation clutch lever, can be actuated independently of one another by the drive that is responsible for the electromotive opening.
  • one or both clutch levers are regularly engaged, while they are consistently disengaged during normal operation.
  • the control unit takes care of this.
  • both clutch levers are or can be engaged one after the other by a first run and a second run of the drive in the same direction of actuation.
  • the direction of actuation for applying pressure to the two clutch levers is generally designed to be opposite to an opening direction of the drive.
  • the drive can be used unchanged and as before for electrically opening the locking mechanism in the opening direction in emergency operation.
  • the direction of actuation for the two clutch levers in emergency operation is oriented in the opposite direction to this opening direction.
  • the two clutch levers are engaged one after the other in the actuating direction in question by a first run and a second run, and can consequently and in principle be acted upon independently of one another, in contrast to the prior art DE 10 2018 113 562 A1 .
  • the drive After the first run, the drive returns to a home or neutral position.
  • the other clutch lever is then engaged.
  • the design in this context is such that during the first run, the outside actuation clutch lever can first be engaged and consequently the associated outside actuation lever chain is unlocked.
  • the external actuating lever chain in question can be opened mechanically from the outside, which is of particular importance in emergency operation.
  • the drive After the first run, the drive returns to its neutral or basic position back.
  • the drive now ensures that the inside actuation clutch lever is also engaged.
  • the inside actuating lever chain is then also closed, so that in principle and in emergency operation and after a crash, people in the vehicle can also open the associated motor vehicle door from the inside. Opening from the outside by arriving rescue personnel is already possible before and after the first run of the drive.
  • both clutch levers can be disengaged together in the opposite direction with the help of the drive acted upon in the opening direction. This means that a first run and a second run of the drive - this time in the opening direction - are expressly not required for the process of decoupling.
  • both clutch levers are mechanically connected to one another by an unlocking/locking lever chain.
  • the unlocking/locking lever chain usually has an outside locking lever and an inside locking lever.
  • the outer locking lever and the inner locking lever are selectively coupled to one another by a coupling element or selectively interact with one another with the aid of the coupling element.
  • the coupling element is rotatably mounted on the inside locking lever.
  • a spring usually ensures that the coupling element is held in contact with the external locking lever.
  • the interaction between the inside locking lever and the outside locking lever via the coupling element is implemented and realized according to the invention in detail such that the coupling element has a guide contour for interaction with a pin on the outside locking lever. This means that the coupling element, which is rotatably mounted on the inside locking lever, can be acted upon with its guide contour by the pin on the outside locking lever.
  • the design is advantageously such that the outside locking lever and the inside locking lever are mounted in a lock housing at a distance from one another. This allows the coupling element to be placed between the outside locking lever and the inside locking lever. In addition, this allows the two clutch levers to be actuated independently of one another by the drive.
  • a motor vehicle lock is made available which is designed in particular as a motor vehicle door lock and preferably as a motor vehicle side door lock. If the motor vehicle lock in question is used on a rear motor vehicle side door, all relevant functional settings such as "child-proof/child-unlocked” and “theft-proof/theft-unlocked” can be implemented and implemented without any problems. This usually applies to both electronic and mechanical means. In this way, a temporary crash redundancy can be implemented, particularly in the event of a crash, because in this case the two clutch levers are engaged with the aid of the electric motor drive for the locking mechanism or the opening drive that is provided anyway. This happens in the opposite direction to the opening direction, in that the drive in question is acted upon in an actuating direction for the two clutch levers in emergency operation.
  • the figures show a motor vehicle lock, which is in particular a motor vehicle door lock and specifically a motor vehicle side door lock.
  • a motor vehicle side door lock on a rear side door is considered, which is equipped with a child safety function and an additional anti-theft function.
  • the motor vehicle lock shown and in particular the motor vehicle door lock, first of all has a locking mechanism, which is not expressly shown, essentially consisting of a rotary latch and a pawl.
  • a drive 1, 2, 3 is provided for opening the locking mechanism by an electric motor.
  • the drive 1, 2, 3 is an electromotive opening drive for the locking mechanism.
  • This consists of an electric motor 1, a driven worm 2 and a driven pulley 3 meshing with the driven worm 2 and driven by it.
  • the driven pulley 3 in the Figure 1A perform indicated clockwise and counterclockwise movements around their axis.
  • a counterclockwise movement of the driven pulley 3 corresponds to the fact that in normal operation the driven pulley 3 acts on a release lever which opens the locking mechanism.
  • a clockwise movement of the driven pulley 3, on the other hand, is part of emergency operation.
  • the drive 1, 2, 3 is connected to a control unit 4, which is only indicated, or is acted upon by it.
  • the control unit 4 evaluates two sensors 5, 6, which correspond on the one hand to an inner handle and on the other hand to an outer handle of the motor vehicle door equipped with the relevant motor vehicle lock. Of course, more than these two sensors 5, 6 can be present.
  • the electric motor drive or opening drive 1, 2, 3 in emergency operation now primarily ensures that an internal actuating clutch lever 8 and an external actuating clutch lever 9 can be or can be engaged.
  • both clutch levers 8, 9 are disengaged and correspond to the "locked" functional position.
  • This means that the internal actuation clutch lever 8 can be acted upon via the internal handle, which is not expressly shown, but is idle in relation to an opening of the locking mechanism.
  • both a mechanical internal actuation chain and an external actuation lever chain are each interrupted and have no effect in relation to the locking mechanism. In such a case, this is acted on by an electric motor only with the aid of the drive 1 , 2 , 3 .
  • the two clutch levers 8, 9 can be engaged one after the other by a first run and a second run of the drive 1, 2, 3 in the same operating direction, as will be explained in more detail below.
  • the actuation direction is designed opposite to the opening direction of the drive 1, 2, 3, according to the exemplary embodiment belongs to a clockwise rotation of the output shaft 3.
  • the connecting lever 13 performs when comparing the functional positions according to FIG Figures 1A and 2A essentially a downward movement.
  • the downward movement of the connecting lever 13 has the result that the external control clutch lever 9 connected to the connecting lever 13 is also moved downward and is thus engaged.
  • the motor vehicle lock shown can then be opened mechanically from the outside by applying pressure to the now engaged external actuating clutch lever 9 using an external handle, not expressly shown, because the external actuating clutch lever 9 closes the corresponding external actuating lever chain.
  • unlocking/locking lever chain 10, 11, 12, 13 consists of the outer locking lever 10, the inner locking lever 11, the coupling element 12 mounted on the inner locking lever 11 and finally the connecting lever 13, which articulates the outer locking lever 10 with the outside operation clutch lever 9 connects.
  • the coupling element 12 is held in contact with the outer locking lever 10 or the driven pulley 3 by means of the spring 14 .
  • the coupling element 12 is equipped with a guide contour 12a which interacts with a pin 10c on the external locking lever 10.
  • the motor vehicle lock has the functional position after the Figures 2B or 3A reached.
  • the inside locking lever 11 is essentially shown together with the inside operating clutch lever 8, while the outside locking lever 10 has been omitted for the sake of clarity.
  • his position in the sequence of figures changes Figures 3A and 3B not. So after the external actuating clutch lever 9 has been engaged during a first run of the drive 1, 2, 3 and consequently the associated external actuating lever chain has been unlocked and thus closed to mechanically open the locking mechanism, a second run of the drive 1 now 2, 3 starting from its basic position assumed again in the Figure 2B or in the Figure 3A the operation of the inside control clutch lever 8. This is in the Figures 3A and 3B shown.
  • the inside actuating clutch lever 8 which is articulated at the end to the inside locking lever 11, is also moved from the functional position to the Figure 3A in transition to Figure 3B moved upwards, as indicated by a corresponding arrow.
  • the upward movement of the inside operation clutch lever 8 causes the inside operation clutch lever 8 to be engaged.
  • the associated internal operating lever chain is now also closed.
  • the motor vehicle lock shown can consequently also be opened mechanically from the inside with the aid of an inside handle via the now closed inside actuating lever chain.
  • the engaged state of the inside actuating clutch lever 8 again corresponds to an unlocking of the inside actuating lever chain in the example.
  • Opening direction of the drive 1, 2, 3 corresponds to an actuation of the driven pulley 3 in the counterclockwise direction.
