Description

Domaine techniqueTechnical area

The present invention relates to the field of vacuum cleaners equipped with a suction head making it possible to suck up dust and small-particle waste present on a surface to be cleaned.

Etat de la techniqueState of the art

Vacuum cleaners equipped with a suction head are well known on the market, these making it possible to clean surfaces by suction for the evacuation of dust and waste of small particle size resting thereon. The surface to be vacuumed can for example be tiles, parquet, laminate, carpet or carpet.

A suction head comprises, in known manner, a main body comprising a sole provided with a lower face and with a suction orifice opening out into the lower face of the sole. The underside of the soleplate is intended to be positioned adjacent to the surface to be vacuumed during use of the suction head.

In order to improve the cleaning performance of a suction head, it is known to equip the latter with a cleaning unit comprising:
  • a rotary brush which is rotatable about a rotation axis and which is removably mounted in a receiving housing delimited by the main body of the suction head, and
  • a closure plug which is configured to at least partially close a passage opening provided on the main body and through which the rotating brush is adapted to be inserted into and withdrawn from the receiving housing.

A first end portion of the rotating brush is connected to the main body of the suction head via a first pivot connection so as to allow rotation of the rotating brush relative to the main body around a axis of rotation, and a second end portion of the rotating brush is connected to the closure cap via a second pivot connection so as to allow rotation of the rotary brush relative to the closure cap about a pivot axis.

Une unitĆ© de nettoyage selon le prĆ©ambule de la revendication 1 est dĆ©jĆ  connue par exemple du document US-A-5465451 .Such a configuration can generate vibrations and generate noises which are detrimental to the comfort of use of such a suction head. The vibrations can, for example, be generated by a misalignment between the axis of rotation and the central axis of the brush. A cleaning unit according to the preamble of claim 1 is already known for example from the document US-A-5465451 .

Les nervures 52 rĆ©alisent aussi la surface de butĆ©e axiale 39 contre laquelle prend appui le pivot 34.According to the embodiment shown in the figures, the support element 35 comprises a plurality of grooves 42 which extend substantially parallel to the pivot axis B and which are regularly distributed around the pivot axis B. advantageously, the grooves 42 are provided on an internal surface of the support element 35 such that the axial abutment surface 39 is discontinuous. The fixing member 43 is for example fixed to the rotary support 28 by screwing.

Advantageously, the support element 35 can however be uncoupled from the pivot 34 by, for example, exerting a tensile force on the cap body 17 which is greater than the frictional forces exerted between the support element 35 and the pivot 34, and more particularly between the support element 35 and the ball bearing forming the pivot 34. According to an alternative embodiment of the invention, the pivot 34 could however be mounted sliding relative to the support element 35.
