Definitions
- the invention relates to transfer devices intended to maintain an electrical and/or optical connection between a fixed part of a link, such as a cable and a rotating part of the link, the rotating part being capable of rotate relative to the fixed part around an axis of rotation x.
- This type of transfer device is, for example, used in the field of winches used to deploy acoustic transmission or reception antennas in water via electrocarrying cables.
- These cables consist of an armor, which can be metallic or textile, and a core composed of electrical and/or optical conductive fibers.
- the function of the heart is to transmit information and/or electrical power between a frame of the winch and an antenna intended to be wound around a drum of the winch mounted pivoting with respect to the frame.
- a first solution is to provide this connection only when the drum is fixed relative to the frame, once the antenna has been positioned at a desired distance in the water. This solution requires potentially dangerous manual operations with each movement of the drum.
- a second solution is to use an electrical and/or optical rotary joint to permanently maintain an electrical and/or optical connection between the part of the cable fixed to the frame and the other part fixed to the drum.
- the rotary joint incorporates optical tracks and/or electrical tracks making it possible to ensure optical and/or electrical continuity. Continuous 360° electrical tracks can be provided on the frame and coupled to a brush on the rotating part.
- the disadvantage of this solution, in particular for the optical versions, is mainly its cost. Indeed, the cost of an optical track is very high and must be multiplied by the number of optical fibers to be connected.
- a third solution consists in providing an intermediate part of the very long cable.
- the intermediate part of the cable extends between a part of the cable secured to the fixed part and part of the cable secured to the rotating part in rotation around the x axis.
- the intermediate part of the cable is optionally lightened of its armor to reduce its size.
- a winding transfer device makes it possible to wind the intermediate part of the cable to limit the torsion of the cable and to ensure the electrical and/or optical connection between the fixed part of the cable and the part of the cable fixed to the drum.
- This solution comprises two drums aligned along the axis of rotation of the drum of the winch including a drum fixed relative to the frame and a drum fixed relative to the drum of the winch in rotation around the axis of rotation of the drum of the winch.
- the intermediate part of the cable located between the drum of the winch and the frame, is wound partly on the rotating drum and on the fixed drum.
- the size of the cable transfer device is given mainly by the dimensions of the drums necessary for storing the cable.
- the size of the drums is proportional to the dimensions of the intermediate part of the cable and to the maximum number of turns that the rotating drum must make during its use. This maximum number of revolutions corresponds to the finite number of revolutions that the winch drum is required to make.
- the intermediate part of the cable must be able to be completely transferred from the fixed drum to the rotating drum and vice versa. The greater the number of turns, the more each of the two drums (fixed and mobile) must be enlarged (along the axis of rotation) so that each can store the entire intermediate part of the cable, which can make the transfer device very bulky.
- the document FR2188593 proposes a solution in which it is possible to wrap the cable around the rotating drum and the fixed drum in several layers.
- the major drawback of this solution is that the tensile force applied to the cable is variable due to the variation in the diameter of the winding when the layers accumulate, which leads to a variation in the tensile force for a same pair.
- the document FR1345038 describes another transfer device.
- An object of the invention is to limit at least one of the aforementioned drawbacks.
- the transfer means are configured so as to make it possible to transmit the whole of a useful winding of the set of at least one link made continuously around the fixed drum and each idler drum, towards the rotating drum of so that the useful winding is carried out around the fixed drum and each idler drum continuously, when the rotating drum rotates in the first direction and vice versa when the rotating drum rotates in the opposite direction.
- each transfer assembly is configured to make it possible to transfer a link of the set of at least one link from a first point to a second point separated, along the axis of rotation, by a first predetermined distance D , greater than the height h of each idler drum.
- At least one transfer assembly comprises an assembly of at least one deflection pulley intended to receive a transfer loop of a link of the assembly of at least one link extending between the fixed drum and the drum rotating when the link is wrapped around the composite drum to tend to transfer the link between the fixed drum and the rotating drum.
- the return pulley has a mean radial plane substantially parallel to the x axis so as to transfer from a first point to a second point separated, along the axis of rotation x, by a first predetermined distance D, greater than the height h of each idler drum, the first distance D being substantially the diameter of the pulley.
- At least one set of at least one deflection pulley can comprise several deflection pulleys or a single deflection pulley.
- the transfer device comprises coupling means coupling the rotating guide to the drum rotating in rotation around the axis x.
- the coupling means comprise a link tensioning device making it possible to maintain the link under tension.
- the transfer means comprise several transfer assemblies.
- the transfer device comprises the set of at least one link, each link of the set of at least one link being wound around the composite drum.
- the transfer device together with at least one link forms a winding around the composite drum, the winding having a height greater than a height of the fixed drum and greater than a height of the rotating drum so that at least an idler drum receives part of the link winding.
- the invention also relates to a rotary device comprising the transfer device according to the invention, the rotary device comprising the fixed part and the rotating part, the fixed part being integral with the fixed drum in rotation around the axis x and the rotating part being integral with the drum rotating in rotation around the axis x.
- the transfer device according to the invention is intended to be integrated into a rotary device, such as a winch 100 shown in figure 1 , comprising a rotating part 101, for example a reel, capable of rotating with respect to a fixed part 102, for example the frame of the winch, around the axis of rotation.
- a rotary device such as a winch 100 shown in figure 1 , comprising a rotating part 101, for example a reel, capable of rotating with respect to a fixed part 102, for example the frame of the winch, around the axis of rotation.
- the transfer device according to the invention is intended to pass a flexible link 105 from the fixed part 102 to the rotating part 101 by limiting twisting of the link when the rotating part rotates relative to the fixed part around the axis x .
- the link 105 comprises a first end EX1 secured to the fixed part 102.
- the transfer device is intended to limit twisting of the link between the first end EX1 of the link 105, fixed with respect to a fixed part 102 of the rotary device, and a second end EX2 of the link 105, fixed with respect to a rotating part 103 of the rotating device.
- the link 105 is, for example, a part 105 of a cable C located in the extension of another part 106, of the cable C, intended to be wound around a drum 103 of the winch 100.
- This drum 103 is the drum of the reel 101.
- the link 105 comprises an end EX2 fixed to the drum 103 in rotation around the axis x.
- the winch 100 comprises an actuator 104 making it possible to drive the rotating part 103, here the drum of the winch, in rotation around the axis of rotation x with respect to the fixed part 102 so that the cable C, more precisely the part 106 of the cable C, wraps around the drum of the winch 103, when the drum 103 rotates in a first direction and unwinds when the drum 103 rotates in the other direction.
- the link 105 is for example a mechanical, electrical and/or optical cable making it possible to transmit optical information and/or electrical information and/or electrical power to ensure an electrical supply.
- a cable can comprise a set of several fibers possibly surrounded by a sheath.
- the link can comprise all the fibers or a part of the fibers and comprise the sheath or be devoid of it.
- the link can, for example, be a stripped part of the link 105 for reasons of space, it can only include the electric cable(s) and/or optical cable(s) of the cable C.
- the transfer device 1 comprises a composite drum 10 shown more precisely in figures 2 to 4 .
- the composite drum 10 comprises a set of drums 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, around which the link 105 is adapted to be wound.
- Drums 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 of assembly 10 are aligned along the x axis. In other words, these drums are substantially cylinders of revolution around the x axis. In other words, drums 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 of assembly 10 are coaxial.
- Drums 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 of assembly 10 advantageously all have the same diameter but may alternatively have different diameters.
- the composite drum 10 comprises a fixed drum 11 relative to the frame 102.
- the composite drum 10 also comprises a rotating drum 15 pivotally mounted around the x axis relative to the frame 102.
- the rotating drum 15 is integral with the drum of the winch 103 , and more generally of the rotating part, in rotation around the x axis.
- Drums 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 of assembly 10 are adjacent along the x axis.
- the drums are advantageously arranged substantially contiguous except for operating clearance.
- the transfer device 1 comprises transfer means comprising a transfer assembly T, comprising the pulley 20 in the example of the figures 2 to 4 , configured to transfer the link 105, when it is wound around the composite drum, between the fixed drum 11 and the rotating drum 15, towards the rotating drum 15 when the rotating drum 15 rotates in a first direction around the axis of rotation x, and vice versa when the rotating drum 15 rotates in the opposite direction.
- the transfer assembly T is configured to debit the link 105 from a first point p1 to come and wind it at the level of a second point p2 closer to the rotating drum 15 than the first point p1 when the drum is rotating in one direction and closer to the fixed drum than the first point p1, when the rotating drum rotates in the opposite direction.
- the points p1 and p2 are the tangent points to the drum, where the link 105 leaves and, respectively, arrives on the composite drum 10.
- the transfer assembly tends to debit the link on the fixed drum 11 side in order to wind it on the rotating drum 15 side when the rotating drum 15 rotates in the first direction and vice versa when the rotating drum 15 rotates in the opposite direction.
- the transfer is carried out via the set of at least one idler drum.
- the transfer assembly T comprises a return pulley 20 intended to receive in its groove, when the link 105 is wound around the composite drum 10, a transfer loop B of the link 105 to ensure the return of the link from the first point p1 to the second point p2.
- the axis p of the pulley 20 is perpendicular to the mean radial plane of the pulley.
- the pulley 20 is intended to pivot around the axis of the pulley p. It is free to rotate around the axis of the pulley p.
- the pulley 20 is able to circulate radially around the drum and to move along the axis x so as to allow a winding of the link of the fixed drum 11 to pass towards the rotating drum 15 when the rotating drum 15 rotates in a direction and vice versa when the rotating drum 15 rotates in the opposite direction.
- the return pulley 20 advantageously has a mean radial plane substantially parallel to the x axis and distant from the x axis so as to tend to transfer the link 105 from the first point p1 to a second point p2. These two points p1 and p2 are then separated, along the axis of rotation x, by a distance equal to the diameter D of the pulley 20.
- the set of drums comprises a set of at least one idler drum 12, 13, 14 arranged between the fixed drum 11 and the rotating drum 15 along the x axis.
- the composite drum 10 comprises a first idler drum 12, a second idler drum 13 and a third idler drum 14.
- the set of at least one idler drum 12, 13, 14 includes a single crazy drum or a different number of crazy drums.
- Each idler drum 12, 13, 14 of the set of at least one idler drum is free to rotate around the axis of rotation x with respect to the fixed drum 11 and with respect to the rotating drum 15.
- the set of at least one crazy drum includes several crazy drums as in the example of the figures 1 to 4 , the idler drums are free to rotate around the axis of rotation x with respect to each other.
- the idler drums are, for example, mounted by ball bearings on a shaft 50, integral with the frame 2 in rotation around the x axis, on which the rotating drum 15 is pivotally mounted around the x axis.
- the invention therefore gives the possibility of configuring the transfer assembly T so as to make it possible to transfer all of a useful winding U of the link 105 produced continuously around the fixed drum 11 and the idler drums 12, 13, 14 as depicted in picture 2 , towards the rotating drum 15 so that the useful winding U of the link 105 is carried out continuously around the idler drums 12, 13, 14 and the rotating drum 15, as shown in the figure 4 , when the rotating drum 15 rotates in the first direction, and vice versa, when the rotating drum 15 rotates in the opposite direction.
- the proposed solution makes it possible to provide a rotating drum 15 and a fixed drum 11 each having, according to the axis x, a useful height h1, h2 less than the height HU. At least one idler drum then receives part of the useful winding of the link.
- the proposed solution makes it possible to provide a rotating drum 15 and a fixed drum 11 each having, along the x axis, a useful height H1, H2 less than the height HU so that at least one idler drum receives a portion of the winding.
- the proposed solution makes it possible, for a given finished number of turns of the drum of the winch 103 around the axis x and a link 105 of predetermined diameter and length, to reduce the size of the link storage area according to the x axis with respect to a solution comprising only a fixed drum and an adjacent rotating drum along the x axis in which it is necessary for each of the drums to be capable of storing all of the useful winding of the link.
- This makes it possible to make the link transfer device compatible with reduced allocated bulk, and therefore to very significantly reduce the cost of the system, in particular in the event of a need for a continuous optical connection comprising a large number of optical fibers.
- the proposed solution also makes it possible, for the same number of revolutions of the rotating drum 15, a link of predetermined diameter and a predetermined allocated useful height, to store a length of link greater than a solution comprising only a fixed drum and a rotating drum aligned according to the x-axis.
- the composite drum makes it possible to store a greater number of turns of the link.
- the total winding of the link 105 includes, in addition to the useful winding U of the link, the first residual winding R1 of a few turns made around the fixed drum 11 and the second residual winding R2 of a few turns made around the drum rotating 15. These residual windings R1 and R2 are present in both states of the figures 2 and 4 and occupy the same positions along the x axis in these two states.
- the first residual winding R1 makes it possible to make a first end EX1 of the link 105 integral with the fixed drum 11 and the other residual winding makes it possible to make a second end EX2 of the link 105 integral with the rotating drum 15.
- the total height of the composite drum is equal to the sum of the useful height HU, the distance D and the heights of the two residual windings.
- Each idle drum 12, 13, 14 has a height h along the axis of rotation x.
- the idler drums 12, 13, 14 all have the same height but they can alternatively have different heights along the x axis.
- the transfer assembly is configured to transfer the link 105 from a first point p1 to a second point p2 separated, along the x axis, by a first predetermined distance D, greater at the height h of each idler drum 12, 13, 14 according to the x-axis.
- the diameter D of the pulley 20 of the figure 2 is advantageously greater than the height h of each idler drum. Consequently, when the point p1 is facing an idler drum, the point p2 is necessarily facing another drum of the composite drum which allows it to ensure the transfer of the link from the idler drum to the other drum avoiding a situation in which the transfer assembly would tend to unwind the link from an idler drum and wind it on this same idler drum.
- the first distance D is greater than or equal to the minimum winding radius of the link 105.
- the rotating drum 15 is in a first angular position around the x axis with respect to the frame 102, in which the fixed drum 11 and each of the idler drums 12, 13, 14 receive all of the useful winding U of the link 105 which extends continuously from drum 11 to drum 14 adjacent to rotating drum 15 along axis x.
- the idler drums 12, 13, 14 are coupled, in rotation around the axis x, to the fixed drum 11 by the link 105. This coupling is obtained by friction.
- the link 105 extends from the idler drum 14 adjacent to the rotating drum 15 to the rotating drum 15 passing through the transfer loop B (that is to say by the pulley) so that the idler drums 12 to 14 are uncoupled from the rotating drum 15 in rotation around the x axis.
- the useful continuous winding U is separated from the residual winding R2 wound around the rotating drum 15 by the transfer loop B. This makes it possible to avoid a coupling of the idler drums with the rotating drum 15 in rotation around the axis x which would be incompatible with their coupling in rotation with the fixed drum 11.
- each continuous winding is made in the same direction around the x axis. Furthermore, two windings connected by the transfer loop B are produced in the opposite direction around the axis x.
- the rotating drum 15 has rotated around the x axis with respect to the frame 102.
- the rotating drum 15 is in a second angular position about the x axis relative to the frame 102, in which the rotating drum and each of the idler drums 12, 13, 14 receive all of the useful winding E of the link 105 which extends continuously from the rotating drum 15 to the drum 12 adjacent to the fixed drum 11 along the x axis.
- the idler drums 12, 13, 14 are coupled, in rotation around the axis x, to the rotating drum 15 by the link 105.
- the link 105 extends from the idler drum 12 adjacent to the fixed drum 11 until to the fixed drum 11 via the transfer loop B.
- the useful continuous winding U is separated from the residual winding R1 wound around the fixed drum 11 by the transfer loop B.
- the idler drums 12, 13, 14 are alternately coupled, in rotation around the axis of rotation x, to the fixed drum 11 and to the rotating drum 15 via the link 105. They are used in the first state of the figure 2 to increase the storage capacities of the fixed drum 11 and in the second state of the figure 4 to increase those of the rotating drum 15.
- each idler drum is intended to be coupled in rotation about the x axis with another drum with when the two drums share the storage of a continuous portion of the winding of the link 105.
- the continuous portion of the The winding is wrapped around the idler drum and the other drum and extends continuously from the idler drum to the other drum.
- an idler drum couples in rotation around the x axis with another drum located on the same side of the transfer loop B.
- the pulley 20 having a diameter greater than the width of each of the idler drums 12, 13, 14, this operation does not lead to blockage. Indeed, when the pulley is facing one of the idler drums, it is necessarily facing at least two drums.
- the tie 105 is completely unwound or unwound from one of the idler drums, such as the idler drum 13 on the picture 3 which therefore becomes free in rotation around the x axis with respect to the fixed drum and the rotating drum 15, before returning to wind up on this idler drum 13 once the link 105 is wound continuously over the entire height of the rotating drum 15 and each idler drum 14 separating the idler drum 13 from the rotating drum 15 as visible on the figure 4 .
- the idler drum 13 then couples to the rotating drum 15 in rotation around the x axis under the effect of the winding of the link 105 around the idler drum 13.
- the set of at least one pulley comprises a single deflection pulley 20.
- this set comprises several pulleys.
- Each pulley is adapted to circulate radially around the drum and to move along the x axis so as to allow a winding of the link from the fixed drum to pass towards the rotating drum when the rotating drum rotates in one direction and vice versa.
- each deflection pulley has a mean radial plane parallel to the x axis, that is to say a pulley axis perpendicular to the x axis.
- This example makes it possible to limit the size of the transfer device by using two small-diameter pulleys instead of a bulky large-diameter pulley, when the height of the idler reel(s) is significant.
- the pulleys are arranged so that their mean radial planes are substantially parallel to the x axis and that their axes cross the x axis.
- the axes of the pulleys can be spaced from the x axis and/or be arranged with mean radial planes presenting a different orientation with respect to the x axis.
- the pulleys can have different diameters and be arranged differently. The important thing is that they are configured and arranged to tend to transfer the link 105 from a first point p1 to a second point p2.
- the pulley 20 is for example mounted loose around its axis p on an arm 32 sliding relative to the rotating guide 31 along an axis parallel to the axis x.
- the rotating guide 31 is coupled to the rotating drum 15 so as to rotate relative to the rotating drum 15 around the axis of rotation x at a defined angular speed so that when the link 105 is wound around the composite drum 10 and the loop transfer B is received by the assembly of at least one pulley 20, then the link is transferred, between the fixed drum 11 and the rotating drum 15, towards the rotating drum 15, when the rotating drum 15 rotates in a first direction around the axis of rotation x, and vice versa when the rotating drum 15 rotates in the opposite direction around the axis of rotation x.
- the tie 105 is unwound from the first point p1 to be rolled up at a second point p2.
- Each pulley 20 is free to rotate around its axis of rotation p.
- the transfer assembly comprises coupling means 40 making it possible to couple the rotating guide 31 to the rotating drum 15 in rotation around the x axis so that the rotating guide rotates around the x axis with respect to the frame in the same direction as the rotating drum 15 at a speed of rotation substantially equal to half that of the rotating drum 15 regardless of the direction of rotation of the pulley.
- the coupling means 40 comprise for example a reducer 41.
- the rotating guide 31 is coupled to the rotating drum 15 in rotation around the x axis so as to rotate in the same direction as the rotating drum 15 around the x axis with respect to the frame substantially at half the speed of rotation of the rotating drum 15.
- the rotating guide is for example mounted on the shaft 50 by means of coupling means comprising a 1/2 ratio reducer.
- the coupling means 40 comprise a device for tensioning the link 42 making it possible to maintain the link 105 in tension.
- This link tensioning device 42 is arranged and configured to exert a torque on each deflection pulley so that when the link circulates in a given direction between the rotating drum and the fixed drum, it passes over the deflection pulley and the force to circulate radially overcoming the torque exerted by the spring and so that when the link circulates in the opposite direction, it relaxes from the supply drum and forces the idler pulley to rotate in the opposite direction under the effect of the forces rubber bands applied to it to take up slack.
- This link tensioning device comprises a torsion spring 42 connecting the reducer to the rotating guide 31.
- the transfer device comprises for example a shaft 50 along the x axis, fixed to the drum 15 in rotation around the x axis.
- the shaft 50 is hollow so that the part 106 of the cable C wound around the drum of the winch 103 is connected to the link 105 by an intermediate part 107 of the cable housed in the hollow 51 of the hollow shaft 50. This allows to avoid the passage of the cable through elements rotating at different speeds.
- the cable transfer device according to the invention can be integrated into any device comprising a fixed part and a rotating part with respect to the fixed part to limit the torsion of the link connected to one hand to the fixed part and the other hand to the rotating part. It is in particular possible to envisage integrating the transfer device into a joint between two parts of an articulated arm.
- the transfer device according to the invention is particularly suitable for a connection between a fixed part and a rotating part when the rotating part is capable of performing a finite number of turns between two end angular positions with respect to the fixed part.
- the diameter of the drum is dictated by the mechanical characteristics of the cable. It is greater than or equal to the minimum diameter of the link winding 105.
- the means of transferring the embodiments of the figures 1 to 4 include a single transfer assembly for transferring a link to the rotating drum 15 when the rotating drum rotates in one direction when the rotating drum rotates in the other direction.
- the transfer device comprises several transfer assemblies as described previously making it possible to transfer a set of links to the rotating drum 15 when the rotating drum rotates in one direction when the rotating drum rotates in the other direction .
- Each transfer assembly ensures the transfer of one of the links (towards the rotating drum 15 when it rotates in one direction and towards the fixed drum 11 when the rotating drum 15 rotates in the opposite direction). This makes it possible, for example, to separate the transfer of an electrical cable and an optical cable included in the same electrotractor cable C. It is thus possible to separate the connectors of these different cables and thus use inexpensive commercial connectors. This separation also makes it possible to transfer links of smaller diameter and thus to limit the diameter of the composite drum.
- FIG. 6 An example of this alternate embodiment is shown in figures 6 and 7 .
- the figure 7 represents a sectional view along the plane P, of the device for transferring the figure 6 .
- the links of the figure 6 are not represented in figure 7 to clarify more.
- This embodiment differs from the embodiment of the figures 1 to 3 in that it comprises two transfer assemblies to ensure the transfer of two links 150a, 150b.
- Each transfer assembly includes, in the non-limiting example, figures 6 and 7 , a pulley 220a, 220b.
- Each deflection pulley 220a, 220b is capable of receiving a loop Ba, Bb of one of the links 150a, 150b in its groove Ga, Gb to ensure the transfer of the link 150a, 150b.
- the first return pulley 220a makes it possible to debit the first link 150a from a first point p1a to come and wind it at the level of a second point p2a closer to the rotating drum 15 than the first point p1a when the drum rotates in one direction and closer to the fixed drum 11 than the first point p1a, when the rotating drum 15 rotates in the opposite direction.
- the second return pulley 220b makes it possible to debit the second link 150b from a first point p1b to come and wind it at the level of a second point p2b closer to the rotating drum 15 than the first point p1b when the drum rotates in one direction and closer to the fixed drum 11 than the first point p1b, when the rotating drum 15 rotates in the opposite direction.
- the transfer assemblies are configured to transfer the cable in the same direction when the rotating drum rotates in one direction and to transfer the cable in a same opposite direction when the drum rotates in the opposite direction.
- the pulleys are dimensioned and arranged so that the points p1a and p2a are surrounded, axially by the points p1b and p2b so that when the transfer assemblies transfer the links 150a, 150b towards one side of the composite drum 10 (when the rotating drum 15 rotates in one direction), a turn of the first link 150a and a turn of the second link 150b alternately form on this side of the composite drum 10 along the x axis.
- the transfer assemblies ensure the transfer of the links to the other side of the drum (that is to say when the rotating drum 15 rotates in the opposite direction).
- the winding thus formed comprises two individual windings E1 and E2 shown partially on the figure 6 , made in opposite directions to each other, and each comprising alternately a turn of the first link 150a and a turn of the second link 150b.
- the first return pulley 120a has a diameter smaller than that of the second return pulley 120b.
- the pulleys are offset so as to perform this function by allowing the turns of the first link 150a to form between the second pulley 120b and the drum 10.
- the second pulley 120b is shown in dotted lines because it is on the other side of the drum 10 with respect to the first pulley 120a.
- the part of the second link 150b located on the other side of the drum 10 with respect to the first pulley 120a is also shown in dotted lines.
- Each transfer assembly may include its own support and its own guide.
- transfer assemblies include a common carrier and/or guide.
- the winding comprises two individual windings located on either side of the points p1 or p1a and p2 or p2a.
- the turns of each individual winding are preferably contiguous to promote good winding of the links and good guiding of the support. In figure 1 , the turns are shown not contiguous for greater clarity.
- Transfer sets can be configured, as shown in the figure 5 , so that each individual winding comprises only adjacent turns along the x axis. In other words, each individual winding comprises a single layer of turns.
- the transfer assemblies are configured such that when the transfer assemblies transfer the links 150a, 150b to one side of the composite drum 10 (when the rotating drum 15 rotates in one direction), the turns of the first and second links are formed on two layers around the drum on this side of the composite drum 10 along the x axis. It is the same when the transfer sets ensure the transfer of the links to the other side of the drum (that is to say when the rotating drum 15 rotates in the opposite direction).
- the winding thus formed comprises two individual windings, made in opposite directions to each other, and each comprising an individual winding of the first link and an individual winding of the second link made one on the other around the composite drum .
