  • Each contact zone (9a, 9b, 9c, 9d) is able to clean (a part of) the floor surface (18), whereby thus the floor mop (1) need only be rinsed/cleaned when all contact zones (9a, 9b, 9c, 9d) have made contact with the floor surface (18) to be cleaned, in order to clean the floor surface (18).
  • a secondary advantage is that, because of the shape of the floor mop (1), the contact zone (9a, 9b, 9c, 9d) which extends at the level of the same microfibre cloth (16a, 16b), and also the contact zone (9a, 9b, 9c, 9d) which makes contact with the floor surface (18), are folded together (see figures 11 and 12 ), whereby there is a low risk that the dirt which is present in this folded contact zone (9a, 9b, 9c, 9d) will become detached from the floor mop (1).
