Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a refrigerated cabinet that is used to accommodate and present food to be cooled, the refrigerated cabinet comprising a plurality of doors and a storage space for food, with at least some of the doors each in an upper area on an upper slide and in a lower area are mounted on a lower slide, the storage being designed such that the doors can each be pivoted between an open position and a closed position, the upper slide being mounted so as to be displaceable along an upper guide of the refrigerated cabinet and the lower slide along a lower guide of the refrigerated cabinet , so that the doors can be moved laterally.
  • Generic refrigeration cabinets are known in the art and are used, for example, in supermarkets to present the food for sale to the customer.
  • a known version with laterally movable swing doors is, for example, in EP 3 178 353 B1 described.
  • US 5,687,506 A relates to a fastening system for a closure element.
  • the object of the present invention is to further develop a corresponding refrigerated cabinet with regard to the guidance of the doors during their lateral movement.
  • the refrigerated cabinet according to the invention comprises several transparent doors (e.g. glass doors that can be single or multi-glazed), which are preferably frameless.
  • the doors preferably have one Multiple glazing.
  • the doors can each be pivoted about a vertical pivot axis between an open position and a closed position, with the doors closing the receiving space to the outside in the closed position.
  • the corresponding door provides access to the receiving space so that food can be removed from the refrigerator or placed in it.
  • the invention now provides that at least some of the doors are mounted so as to be displaceable along a guide arrangement (i.e. in addition to the aforementioned pivotability).
  • the corresponding doors can therefore be pivoted about a pivot axis and additionally moved, preferably along a linear guideway.
  • the slidably mounted doors can be moved in a direction that runs parallel to the vertical plane formed by the doors when they are in their closed position.
  • the guide arrangement includes an upper and a lower guide so that the doors are guided in the area of their end faces.
  • the slidably mounted doors can be moved in the direction mentioned by an amount which is at least 2 times, preferably at least 4 times, the width of one of the slidably mounted doors (the width representing the maximum horizontal spatial extent of a door) .
  • each of the doors are each connected to an upper carriage and a lower carriage.
  • each of the doors connected to a slide is connected to an upper slide in the upper area via an upper door bearing and to a lower slide in a lower area via a lower door bearing. So the door bearings are Part of the corresponding slides.
  • the carriages are in contact with the guide arrangement, are displaceable relative thereto and ultimately serve to support the displaceably mounted doors relative to the guide arrangement, with the upper carriage in each case being in operative connection with the upper guide and the lower carriage in each case with the lower guide.
  • the slidably mounted doors can therefore be moved along the guide arrangement together with the carriages connected to them.
  • the carriages are preferably in direct contact with the guide arrangement.
  • the carriages can also have one or more rollers, in particular with ball bearings, via which they are in contact with the guide arrangement.
  • the rollers can have an axis of rotation that runs vertically, horizontally and obliquely to the horizontal and/or vertical.
  • the carriages can also have several rollers with differently aligned axes of rotation.
  • the lower carriages have corresponding rollers via which they are guided in or on the lower guide, while it is advantageous if the upper carriage is guided slidably in the upper guide.
  • the lower carriage has one or more rollers, which preferably have or have a horizontally oriented axis of rotation.
  • the lower guide can have one or more flat running surfaces, with the guide rollers of the carriage each resting on the or one of the guide surfaces and being moved rollingly along the respective guide surface when the door connected to the corresponding roller(s) moves.
  • the weight of the doors is transferred via the rollers into the guide surface(s) before, during and after the movement of the respective door. The doors are therefore always supported downwards by the guide surface(s).
  • the upper door bearings of the doors are preferably designed to be floating, i.e. the door bearings allow a relative movement between the doors and a section of the refrigerated cabinet arranged above the doors (so-called refrigerated cabinet head), so that a slight lowering cannot be prevented after a certain period of operation of the refrigerated cabinet the upper section prevents the doors from jamming.
  • the refrigerated cabinet according to the invention therefore has the following advantages: by supporting the doors via the door bearings, they can be pivoted in a conventional manner between the open position and the closed position, so that food can be removed from or placed in the refrigerated cabinet. If the upper carriage is now moved under the lower carriage of one or more doors along the guide arrangement, the opening into the interior of the refrigerated cabinet can be significantly enlarged. For example, it would be conceivable to simultaneously move several adjacent upper and lower slides in the horizontal direction to such an extent that there is an opening in the receiving space of the refrigerated cabinet, the width of which corresponds to many times the width of a door. In this way, the refrigerated cabinet can be quickly and easily filled with new pallets containing food, for example using a pallet lifting device.
  • the refrigerated cabinet is characterized by the fact that an upper carriage and a lower carriage, which are connected to the same door, are coupled via a vertically extending rod.
  • the rod therefore extends from the lower carriage to the upper carriage and represents a mechanical coupling of both carriages.
  • the rod is rotatably mounted via an upper pivot bearing on an upper carriage and a lower pivot bearing on a lower carriage (the carriages mentioned being carriages that are connected to the same door).
  • the rod also includes an upper combing element which is in operative connection, in particular in direct contact, with a, preferably stationary, upper combing section of the refrigerated cabinet.
  • the rod also comprises a lower combing element which is in operative connection, in particular in direct contact, with a, preferably stationary, lower combing section of the refrigeration cabinet.
  • the upper combing element meshes with the upper combing section and the lower combing element meshes with the lower combing section. Since the two combing elements are connected to one another in a rotationally fixed manner via the rod, it is ensured that the doors are always guided so that they do not tip over when they are moved laterally due to the interaction of the combing elements and the combing sections, since the combing elements engage in a form-fitting manner in the combing sections.
  • the invention provides the following: when a door, which is connected to an upper and a lower carriage (the carriages being coupled via a corresponding rod), is displaced laterally, the interaction of the combing elements with the combing sections causes a Rotation of the rod about a vertical axis (the combing elements are moved relative to the combing sections, with the combing elements and the combing sections each being positively connected).
  • the upper combing element and the lower combing element always have the same speed due to the coupling by the rod when moving the door and thus the carriage, the upper The carriage and the lower carriage of a door inevitably move with the same acceleration or speed and over the same movement distance when they move sideways. This prevents the door from tilting or tilting while the door is being moved sideways.
  • the invention therefore provides that the refrigerated cabinet has at least one door, which is coupled to an upper carriage and a lower carriage via corresponding door bearings.
  • the upper carriage and the lower carriage are connected to one another via a rod, which can be rotated relative to the carriage via the pivot bearings mentioned (the pivot bearings should be designed in such a way that the rod can be rotated about a vertical axis with respect to the pivot bearings, at the same time but an axial displacement of the rod relative to the carriage is excluded). If the door is now moved laterally, i.e.
  • the upper carriage and the lower carriage can only move laterally at the same time and with the same speed profile, since the combing elements mesh with the combing sections, the combing elements of a door are connected to each other in a rotationally fixed manner via the rod and can therefore only rotate at the same time and at the same speed.
  • the upper combing element and the upper combing section are arranged in the vertical direction above the doors and/or the lower combing element and the lower combing section are arranged in the vertical direction below the doors.
  • neither the combing elements nor the combing sections are located in the area of the doors, so that the view into the interior of the refrigerated cabinet is not disturbed by either the combing elements or the combing sections.
  • the upper combing section and the upper combing element should be arranged at substantially the same vertical height. The same applies to the lower combing element and the lower combing section.
  • the upper combing element and/or the lower combing element are designed as a gear (preferably as a gear with a vertically aligned axis of rotation). While it is also conceivable that the upper combing element and/or the lower combing element are each designed as a roller which has a plurality of circumferential depressions which are in operative connection with elevations of the respectively assigned combing section, the design as a gear is advantageous because it can be easily cleaned can be made and is very wear-resistant.
  • the upper combing section and/or the lower combing section are formed by a link chain.
  • the link chain is designed comparable to a bicycle chain.
  • a link chain is arranged in the upper region of the refrigerated cabinet, which forms the upper combing section and extends over the upper region of the refrigerated cabinet in a horizontal direction.
  • another link chain should be arranged in the lower area of the refrigerator, which forms the lower combing section.
  • the upper link chain can be movably mounted in the vertical direction via vertically aligned bolts, the bolts engaging in corresponding bores or other recesses in a section of the refrigeration cabinet that is vertically adjacent to the link chain.
  • Both the individual bolts and the individual holes are arranged at a distance from one another in the horizontal direction. If the upper area of the refrigerated cabinet, on which the upper link chain is mounted, sinks due to cold deformation, the link chain can still always align itself in the vertical direction to match the upper combing elements. The upper combing elements therefore always engage with the upper link chain.
  • the upper combing section and/or the lower combing section is formed by a toothed rack.
  • the rack can extend over the entire width, or at least 80% of the width, of the refrigerator. It is also conceivable that the rack composed of several rack sections arranged horizontally adjacent to one another. In any case, the rack is arranged in the vertical direction in such a way that the upper combing elements of the individual upper slides always mesh positively with the rack during the movement of the doors connected to the slides.
  • the rack has teeth with a first height extending in the vertical direction, that the gears have teeth with a second height extending in the vertical direction, and that the first height is at least twice, preferably five times, The amount has the same as the second height.
  • This also ensures that the combing elements still reliably comb with the corresponding rack when the door connected to the combing elements via the rod moves, even if the ceiling area of the refrigerator to which the rack is directly or indirectly attached changes over time lowered slightly.
  • the height information mentioned preferably refers to the rack arranged in the upper area of the refrigerator.
  • the rack arranged in the lower region, which forms the lower combing section can, however, have a height that is lower than the height of the upper rack, since the lower region of the refrigerated cabinet generally does not lower.
  • the upper combing section and/or the lower combing section are arranged behind a panel, so that the upper combing section and/or the lower combing section are not visible from outside the refrigerated cabinet and when looking at the doors from the front.
  • the corresponding covering preferably extends over the entire width of the respective combing section.
  • an upper panel surrounds the upper combing section from above.
  • a lower panel should surround the lower combing section from below or from the front (facing the refrigerator).
  • the upper combing section and/or the lower combing section extends over at least 30%, preferably over at least 80%, of the width of the refrigerated cabinet.
  • both the upper combing section and the lower combing section should be centrally aligned with respect to the width of the refrigerator.
  • the corresponding combing sections do not have to extend over the entire width of the refrigerated cabinet, since the outer doors of the refrigerated cabinet do not necessarily have to be supported on corresponding slides.
  • two doors each form a pair of doors, with the doors of a pair of doors each being mounted on a common upper carriage and a common lower carriage.
  • the doors cannot therefore be moved independently of each other.
  • a pair of doors i.e. two directly adjacent doors
  • a pair of doors are each connected to a common upper carriage and to a common lower carriage, the said carriages in turn being coupled to one another via the rod described above.
  • the rod is arranged horizontally in the middle between the two doors of a pair of doors with a view of the doors.
  • the rod extends in the area of two opposite side sections of the doors of the corresponding pair of doors.
  • the rod preferably has a diameter that is between 0.5 cm and 2 cm, so that the view into the interior of the refrigerator is only minimally impaired.
  • the rod should be made of metal.
  • the rod is made of a transparent material, for example glass or Plexiglas, so that the rod hardly impairs the view inside the refrigerator.
  • the doors each have a door surface facing away from the receiving space in the closed position (the door surface is formed by the surface of the door facing the customer), the door surfaces of the doors of a first pair of doors lying in a first vertical plane in their closed position. Furthermore, the door surfaces of the doors of a second pair of doors directly adjacent to the first pair of doors should lie in a second vertical plane in their closed position. It is now advantageous if the first vertical plane and the second vertical plane run parallel to one another and are spaced apart from one another in a direction normal to the vertical planes by an amount which corresponds at least to the thickness of the doors normal to the vertical planes.
  • first pair of doors and the second pair of doors are displaceable relative to one another in such a way that a door of the first pair of doors and a door of the second pair of doors at least partially overlap when the doors mentioned are in their closed position.
  • first door of a pair of doors is arranged in the first vertical plane and the second door of the corresponding pair of doors is arranged in the second vertical plane when the two doors are in their closed position.
  • adjacent doors are preferably arranged alternately in the first vertical plane and the second vertical plane.
  • the upper carriage and/or the lower carriage are stationary relative to the upper and/or the lower guide with the aid of a fixing device can be fixed.
  • lateral movement of the doors is not possible, so that the doors can only be pivoted about their pivot axes between the open position and the closed position. If the fixation is released, the carriages and thus also the doors connected to the carriages can be moved in the width direction of the door, ie horizontally, in order to release the largest possible access opening to the receiving space.
  • the fixing device can be formed by individual fixing bolts, which in their fixing position interact with corresponding recesses in the carriage.
  • the carriages can also have bolts which interact with stationary recesses in the refrigerated cabinet in their fixing positions.
  • the upper guide and/or the lower guide are each formed by a guide rail in which the carriages are movably guided in the horizontal direction.
  • the carriages are preferably guided in a form-fitting manner in the corresponding guide, whereby the carriages and/or the guides can have sliding sections in order to keep the friction between the carriage and the guide as low as possible.
  • Figure 1 shows an embodiment of a refrigerated cabinet 1 according to the invention.
  • the refrigerated cabinet basically comprises a ceiling area, two side walls, an in Figure 1 invisible floor area and a rear wall, which is also not visible, connecting the floor area, the ceiling area and the side walls.
  • the refrigerated cabinet 1 comprises a plurality of doors 3, each of which is pivotably mounted with the aid of an upper door bearing 11 and a lower door bearing 16.
  • the doors 3 are of course transparent (this is not shown in the figures in order to avoid the area behind the doors 3). having to present detail; this would have a negative impact on clarity).
  • the refrigerated cabinet 1 now always includes a left and a right edge door 3, ie one door 3 each, which is arranged directly adjacent to one of the two side walls (in Figure 1 the far left and far right doors 3). Furthermore, several middle doors 3 are arranged between the two edge doors 3.
  • the doors 3 are now between one in Figure 1 closed position shown (in which the receiving space 2 arranged behind the doors 3 is closed to the outside for the food to be presented, for example on shelves 22) and one in Figure 2 shown open position (in which the receiving space 2 is accessible from the outside) can be pivoted about a vertical pivot axis.
  • the doors 3 preferably have handles 19.
  • FIG. 1 The comparison of the Figures 1 , 2 and 3 also shows that at least the middle doors 3, in addition to their ability to pivot in the horizontal direction, from an operating position ( Figures 1 and 2 ) into a filling position ( Figure 3 ) can be moved. While the operating position corresponds to the position that the slidably mounted doors 3 normally have during public traffic, so that food can be removed from the refrigerated cabinet 1 for purchase, the filling position primarily serves to easily refill new food by the staff.
  • the middle doors 3 are, for. B. via corresponding upper door bearings 11 and lower door bearings 16, each with an upper carriage 6 and a lower carriage 7 in connection. While the upper carriages 6 are guided with the aid of an upper guide 8 (preferably in the form of an upper rail), the lower carriages 7 are guided via a lower guide 9 (preferably in the form of a lower rail).
  • the upper guide 8 is preferably located behind one Figure 1 cladding 20 indicated by a reference number, so that it is not or only partially visible in a front view of the refrigerator 1. Likewise, the lower guide 9 can be arranged behind a corresponding panel 20.
  • the refrigerated cabinet 1 comprises a plurality of lower carriages 7, which are guided by the lower guide 9, and a plurality of upper carriages 6, which are guided by the upper guide 8.
  • the carriages 6, 7 are preferably stored via rollers which engage in corresponding recesses in the guide.
  • a sliding guide without rollers is also conceivable.
  • two middle doors 3 are connected to a common upper carriage 6 and a common lower carriage 7 and form a pair of doors.
  • each rod 4 is preferably arranged between two adjacent doors 3 when viewed from the front of the refrigerated cabinet 1.
  • the rod 4 is rotatably connected to the respective carriages 6, 7 via a lower pivot bearing 24 and an upper pivot bearing 23, so that the upper carriage 6 is coupled to the lower carriage 7 of the same pair of doors via the rod 4.
  • the rod 4 now has an upper combing element 5 in the upper area and a lower combing element 12 in the lower area, the upper combing element 5 meshing with an upper combing section 13 when the upper carriage 6 moves laterally, i.e. in the horizontal direction, with those attached to it Doors 3 are moved.
  • the lower combing element 12 meshes with a lower combing section 14 during the movement of the doors 3 mentioned and thus the lower carriage 7.
  • both combing elements 5, 12 always rotate simultaneously and at the same speed when the two carriages 6, 7 of a door 3 or a pair of doors move. Since the upper combing element 5 also meshes with the upper combing section 13 and the lower combing element 12 with the lower combing section 14, it is ensured that the upper carriage 6 and the lower carriage 7 only move at the same time and with the same acceleration or speed relative to the lower guide 9 and to the upper guide 8.
  • the axes of rotation of the doors 3 connected to the slides 6, 7 therefore have an exactly vertical orientation in every position and in every phase of the movement. Tilting or tilting of the doors 3 within the guides 8, 9 is therefore impossible at any time, so that smooth and low-wear horizontal movement of the doors 3 is guaranteed.
  • both the upper combing element 5 and the lower combing element 12 can be formed by a gear 15.
  • the upper combing section 13 and the lower combing section 14 are preferably formed by a link chain 18, each of which extends in the width direction of the refrigerated cabinet 1.
  • the link chains 18 are preferably mounted immovably in the width direction of the refrigerated cabinet 1, while in particular the upper link chain 18 can be mounted movably in the vertical direction, so that the upper gear 15 always meshes with the link chain 18 even when the ceiling section of the refrigerated cabinet 1 is lowered.
  • the term "combing" means, as usual, that the combing element 5, 12 and the combing section 13, 14 in contact with it during a relative movement between the combing element 5, 12 and the combing section 13, 14 always interlock positively.
  • Figures 6 and 7 show Figures 6 and 7 that the upper carriage 6 (the same applies to the lower carriage 7, even if this is not shown) can each have two upper door bearings 11 per door.
  • This allows the two doors 3 of a pair of doors to be arranged offset from one another with respect to the door surface 21 visible from the front. This is particularly in Figure 6 clearly visible. If the two doors 3 of an adjacent pair of doors are now arranged correspondingly offset from one another, the two pairs of doors can also be moved relative to one another in the closed position of the doors 3 in such a way that directly adjacent doors 3 overlap at least in sections.
  • Figure 9 a preferred embodiment in which the upper combing section 13 is not through a link chain 18, but through a rack 10 is formed.
  • the lower combing section 14 can also be formed independently by a toothed rack 10 instead of a link chain 18.
  • the respective gear 15 meshes with the rack 10 assigned to it when the carriage 6, 7 connected to the respective gear 15 is moved laterally.
