Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'exploitation d'une centrale électrique (1) en vue de la production d'énergie électrique destinée à être fournie à au moins un consommateur (16) par combustion d'un combustible contenant du carbone. Le dioxyde de carbone (19) est séparé des gaz de fumée (7) de la centrale électrique (1) et le dioxyde de carbone (19) séparé est au moins partiellement converti en un carburant (20). Le procédé selon l'invention est caractérisé en ce que le carburant (20) est brûlé au moins temporairement dans au moins un moteur thermique (4) avec formation d'un gaz d'échappement (8), de l'énergie électrique étant générée par le moteur thermique (4), laquelle est délivrée à au moins un consommateur (16), et au moins une partie de l'énergie thermique du gaz d'échappement (8) étant utilisée dans au moins un des processus suivants : a) pour le chauffage d'un air de combustion (10) d'une centrale électrique (1) ; b) pour le chauffage d'un fluide de processus (14) de la centrale électrique (1) ; c) dans le cadre d'un séchage du combustible de la centrale électrique (1) ; et d) dans le cadre d'une séparation du dioxyde de carbone.
